My mom and I came here during our visit to Old Town. It was our first time visiting Poland for the week. It was a last minute decision to come for dinner. I'm so glad we did because it was a wonderful memory! The atmosphere here was cozy and elegant at the same time. It felt like a tea party. We got a caesar salad, beetroot soup with ravioli (which tasted incredible), and mushroom soup with hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was so rich, like they melted a candy bar in it. This was the best meal we had during our visit (and we'd visited a lot of restaurants during our trip). I only wish we could've stayed longer to try more of their food here. The service was excellent. Highly recommend.

Way above my expectations! The food was incredibly delicious. I ordered the half roasted duck and it turned out to be one of the best meals I've had in years. To top it all off, the waitress was super friendly. My experience was amazing here and I highly recommend it.

Nothing to recommend. We don't understand the good rating from Google. We had the worst overcooked duck, frustratingly weird looking pierdogi dumplings.... and the thing was, we keep hearing everything coming out from their microwave. Seriously, not worth trying out.

Good polish restaurant in Warsaw old town. Good portions and good food.

More than 5 stars. Really good food. I think was the best potatoe pancake with goulash I tried in Warsaw. The drink I had was fresh, really good and w/a lot of fruit. Service was great, the waiter was nice and kind. Definetely, Ill go again.

This small restaurant offers a cozy environment in which to dine with the finest traditional polish foods. The quality and the taste of the food really surprised us. The prices are cheap and the service was kind. Would 100% recommend!

Amazing food ! I recommend the duck!

One of the best food I had in Poland. Highly recommend this 1/2 duck with cranberry sauce. The skin was crispy while the meat was so soft it felt like it was melting in my mouth. The cranberry sauce and strawberry went well with the meat. The waitress and the cook were really nice and friendly too. This place gave me the feeling of a friendly family restaurant rather than other busy commercial restaurants in Warsaw

Quaint little restaurant on the edge of Warsaw’s Oldtown filled with locals. I ordered the Bigos and my friend ordered the mushroom and cabbage pierogies. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. This place is a amazing gem for cheap traditional Polish food. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to find the most authentic restaurant in Warsaw.

A real home feeling to this restaurant, everything reminded me of my grandparents... the beautiful plates, the decorations, the atmosphere etc. Visited from ireland with my polish partner. Lovely friendly staff also

Cozy atmosphere, the food was absolutely delicious and so was the mulled wine. Very fast and customer oriented service, the waitress checked on us multiple times to see if we enjoy the food. I'll definitely visit again next time in Warsaw

First time I ate here and the food was delicious!!! They know how to cook traditional polish cuisine and well! I had the pork tenderloins with chantrelles in a creamy wine sauce and gniocchi and it was amazing! The meat was tender, sauce flavoursome and salad well garnished. My waiter was lovely, polite and was clearly working hard with many tables to serve. On top of this the price was super! A+ and I came back! Trip 2 I went for the Bigos. I am used to proper home cooking for bigos so am always a big critic, luckily again it was delicious. Lovely flavour, tender meat and well balanced portion with traditional polish bread. Again the same waiter was outstanding, bravo and this is now my go to Warsaw polish restaurant. A++

The food was delicious! We had the pork chop and steak tartar. The waiter was really kind and he made up a vodka tasting for us. It was a great experience!

Coming from the United States I am always very careful on the food I choose. I was so impressed with Restauracja Portretowa. I ordered the ribs and potatoes. It was outstanding! I was there with 8 family members and we had the best time. The service was great. The food was delicious. I will definitely have this as a favorite place to visit when touring Warsaw.

Very good restaurant, perfectly located near the Royal Castle. Very affordable prices (at least for a foreigner), really tasty polish cuisine and quick service.

I think, it was a moment of look luck, when I walked by this restaurant and there was a free table available. Atmosphere is awesome, it is a bit kitchy, but in the good way. Food was ok, service exceptional, I was happy. Highly recommended.

The combination of the service with the food and the atmosphere is one of the best. All the small details from the tablecloths, the candles to the dish plates are unique. As for the food, it was the most authentic Polish cuisine that I tasted, with more than classic dishes. Respect!

Very cozy restaurant with neat old-timey furniture and plates. Very friendly staff and great traditional polish food. They also have a terrace with a nice view about 20 meters away from the actual restaurant.

It was our second visit - have been dreaming about returning on our next trip to Poland from the US, and we were glad to discover it was just as magical and delicious as we had remembered it to be! It has now been recommended to us, independently and unprompted, by three Warsaw natives as their favorite restaurant in town, so it’s not just a foreign opinion. Excellent service (and in very good English, a bonus for us) and every dish from starters to desserts was so beautiful and flavorful we literally wrote home about them. Wild mushroom soup, sour rye soup, brown trout in dill sauce, duck with roast apples, rabbit in dill cream, warm apple pie, the most airy and delicate cheesecake…I am still stuffed and yet I wish I could eat them again right now! (Don’t, for goodness’ sake, because portions are very generous!) Especially perfect during the winter holiday season due to the lovely decorations.

Food: 5/10 Sizing is very generous. The duck dish was recommended on culture trip but regretted ordering as Duck is over cooked and very dry with little sauce. The pancake with Goulash is pretty good, sauce is very tasty. Dumpling is also not too bad. Service: 8/10 Service is efficient with only one wait staff serving the whole restaurant. Value: 6/10 Pricey as located in Old town which is tourist area but still affordable if you are from Western Europe or other western countries. Overall: 6/10 Definitely heaps of other options at that price but will need to do a little more research. Wow Factor: conveniently located in the Warsaw old town area.

Took the mixed grill dish. The polish sausage was top notch, the kotlet was the best I ever had (and I seen a few), the ribs were just so tasteful and juicy,... All prepared on the grill. Lovely atmosphere as well. Highly recommend

Very nice place, mashroom soup was very tasty, I did not like the gulash soup and returned it, they did deduct it from our bill.

Lovely place! The staff's real hospitable, polite and the waitress speaks excellent English. Food's authentic, affordable and to me and my girlfriend's opinion the taste is one of the best in the whole of Warsaw. Additionally the restaurant is nicely located in Old Town, the place is small but the atmozphere is great and cozy. Definitely a must-visit restaurant while visiting Warsaw!

First We Started whith the beetroot soup and then we ate the steak and the pierogi. It was all very good. The service was also really Good, the Lady was really Nice.

Really outstanding, this is a lovely restaurant with a traditional Polish menu. The food was delicious, with large portions and the staff were very kind. Will return!
