The best kebab in Warsaw, If you try their kebab you will never eat a kebab from other place. They always serve very fresh ingredients and quite good quality meat. The price is relatively cheap, about the service they are kindly and fast. There is always big queue in this place, but never wait to long time for my kebab. The only think I did like It was the tea, since It was common.

Restaurant service is very rude. The food is average, but certainly not worth putting up with the wait staff here. I was surprised by this, but after reading the reviews here I see I'm not alone. The restaurant closes at 9. By 9:00 sharp we had paid our bill and our plates were cleared. We were finishing the last sips of wine in our glasses when at 9:04 the waitress was rudely pushing us out the door. Best to avoid this place.

Amazing experience! If you thought they will leave you hungry, think again. You should skip several meals before visiting this amazing restaurant. Everything is so tasty, you cannot restraint yourself from having all of the dishes. The soup is crazy good!

The server was extremely rude. She took the order of other guests that came after us. When she finally came to take our order, she left in the middle of the conversation because my husband was translating a few things on the menu (he’s Polish, I am not) and I guess she got impatient. Since she never came back and told us anything we decided to make the line and get it to go. I Then she came to the line to yell at us that she already put the order for something. We were super confused.i don't doubt the food is good but terrible service is not okay.

The food is ok, you can order super abundant dishes or turkish style grilled meat wirh different side dishes such as rice pilaf, salad, pepperoni and other vegetables. There is one big flaw in this place. Personnel is super rude. We arrived at 8 and a waitress warned us in a not welcoming way that at 9 they were closing and hurried us up to finish soon. Furthermore they didn't accomodate us splitting the bill among us, and she urged us to go away soon as they were closing. I will come back never again.

One of the best Kebab joints left out in the Capital. I f@cking love it. The price/food ratio is still affordable. For two two whole dishes, a sandwich, and 4 x 0.5l beers we almost managed to pushed 160 PLN. I say that's pretty damn good. The food is... diabolical!

We ate inside. The food was OK, so was the service (although, our waitress hardly spoke any Polish). We were surprised when we heard how many dishes were already off the menu when we visited at around 7PM only. Overall score: 4 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Not great -- I've been a couple of times because I live nearby and the food is okay. But the waitstaff is ALWAYS bad. They're rude and pushy and try to get you out the door as soon as possible. They were clearing everything up with 10 minutes until closing and then pushed me out the door even though I hadn't finished my glass of wine. I would expect it of a place with cheap prices but this place isn't exactly cheap. So I'm not coming back. So if you want chewy meat in a weird atmosphere that's not priced well with waitresses who are rude to you, go here, i guess. Otherwise, there are plenty of better Turkish restaurants in Warsaw.

Awful service, poorly cleaned dishes. Five minutes after being seated, we were asked to move to another table. The wine brought to me was not the one I ordered.

waiters act like they hate serving people. They are constantly sullen and looking at him with hatred. They make an effort for us to leave by saying that if we ask for which product, there is no more. Because of these malicious Polish and Ukrainian staff, the smiling, helpful, hospitality and quality of Turkish culture is being damaged. We have not experienced such a thing in other branches, just here and we have experienced it 5 times before writing this, and I recommend that especially foreigners who want to come here think a few times. We have never encountered such a thing in other branches.

In the world of forgettable kebabs, Efez has the courage to go their own way. Delicious and refreshing spin on a street food classic. If you don't like raw onion 🧅, stay away.

EFES Restaurant has a very popular window that only sells swarma kebab. The window is always crowded with customers. The service is also very fast. People takes the roll and walks away with it. There is actually no proper seating arrangement. The restaurant, on the other hand, is relatively calm and quite. The menu is rich with Turkish cuisine. It is not a bad place to dine here as it offers good Turkish cuisine. The waiters are well behaved and ready to assist in choosing the menu.

If I could describe it in one word, I would use the word “fit”. Unlike other kebabs, there is not a gram of unneeded fat on anything. The salads were the freshest I’ve ever had in a kebab. The meat was cooked perfectly, as I said before, it wasn’t greasy and it was very aromatic. The lavash was made in-house and it absolutely showed, it was perfect. The sauces were both tasty and not too greasy. The portion size was alright - could’ve been bigger, but that’s a small complaint. Overall this kebab is on another level, it’s almost as if it should be called something else because it’s beyond any kebab I’ve eaten.

This comment is not about restaurant itself, but concerning the takeaway doner point on the corner. First of all - be ready for 20-40 minutes line here. Second thing - doners are generally good, it's not a coincidence that there are always a lot of people in the queue. But be aware that sause is more east specific than European-ones. I mean e.g. mixed one (mieszany in polish), is more salty than hot, it may surprise someone.

Took the kebab to go. The queue is always pretty long, waited 25-30 minutes. Quite minimalistic kebab yet tasty. Verdict: one of the best in Warsaw, but to my liking it’s still far from best Berlin’s kebabs. I’d like to return one day to try the restaurant inside.

The atmosphere is cool and slightly you feel like you are in a Turkish restaurant. But I can easily confirm that this restaurant is overrated. It is better to decrease your expectations and enjoy the meals. I tried Iskender Kebab, unfortunately it is not extremely delicious and they serve without the qofte( meatball). The meat was dry, It ought to be a little bit juicy at least. Portions are really big and it is worth what you pay. The waiters are kind and helpful.

I’m not an extremely demanding customer, but I was disappointed with my kebab. It just wasn’t very tasty. Ingredients seemed fresh. My wife was not able to finish her portion, and that does not happen too often ;). Perhaps I was unlucky.

This is one of the only quality kebab spots in Warsaw. Forget all the garbage chains and come get the real thing at Efes on Francuska or the one on Niepodległości.

Buying kebab to go here for a half year, it seems to me that is smaller now (and more expensive) But it is still 5/5 — the meat is spicy, vegetables are fresh, sauce is nice and lavash is tasty.

Could have been better. 5 star for the atmosphere, cause great time with friends regardless of everything else.

Undeniably the best street Kebab in Warsaw - and this also refers to the restaurant the run. Appropriate for all ages, the kids love it, grandparents adore it, everyone happy and full after each single meal. As for kids - stunning achievement IMHO.

Although i’ve been living in warsaw for 1.5 years, i had the opportunity to visit Efes Kebap in Saska Kepa for the first time and i had been hearing positive reviews from everyone until i stepped inside. i asked the English speaking waitress if i needed to make a reservation and she said i needed to with a grim face. then when i asked when they were available, she told me there was a table available in the corner and i sat myself there. i expected her to show me to the table and accompany me as it's usually done in restaurants but she didnt. table was full of leftover food and glasses from the previous customers as i showed in the pictures. Later menu arrived and i ordered the meatballs with cheese. when my order arrived i noticed that there was no cheese in the meatballs. i told the waitress who took my order that i ordered a meatballs with cheese but what came was a normal one. she said cheese had been grated on it, but i said there was no residue or taste of cheese. neither in taste nor in appearance, as I also showed in the pictures. Later a young man who spoke turkish came to the table and i explained the situation to him. hee accepted the situation and wanted to offer me different food options. He was a kind volunteer to help but the bad experience i had would never be overshadowed. Unfortunatelyi must share this bad experience despite the efforts of that young person. if necessary precautions are taken in advance they wouldn't need to exert extra effort. i never write reviews to criticize any place and i always share my experiences with honesty

Due to the long lineup at the pick-up window, we figured this place must be awesome so we got a table. We were seated in what felt like an aquarium or an incubator with a bunch of flies flying around our heads and no air to breathe. The server’s attitude was like watching “Wednesday” on Netflix. We ordered hummus which was by far the most disgusting hummus I’ve ever tasted, it was grainy, smelled terrible and had no spices, garlic or any taste whatsoever, served with stale reheated pita bread. For main, we got the lamb doner with fries and Turkish bread. Although the meat is fresh and it's real meat not some processed minced junk, it has ZERO salt or any type of seasoning, it doesn't come with any garlic sauce, just spicy sauce and mint sauce, but no onions no lettuce just plain unseasoned meat. Overpriced and way overrated.

Best kebab in warsaw, fresh & tasty meat with bits of fresh onion and awesome sauce, must try kebab. I’ve been there twice & got my takeaway order within 2 mins. 💯 Definately recommend.

I ordered mercimek soup and Iskender. Iskender was OK but Mercimek was terrible like a water. There is also no vegan options and waitress looks so sad.

The best kebab in Warsaw. Meat, salads, bread is really very good Place itself is not too clean unfortunately. Service: not too gentle but bring food super fast

I have lived in Saska Kępa for more than 20 years, and EFES KEBAB is the best kebab place I've ever visited. Consistent quality, fast service, lovely atmosphere for dining in, or quick take-out as you walk by. I've eaten here over a hundred times, and never regretted it. Highly recommended!

The best kebab located in the most beautiful part of Warsaw . Same perfect taste of meat and sauces from more then 15 years ! Amazing ! Helpful and nice staff . Worth to go ♥️

  • 1/5 Piotr B. 1 year ago on Google
The order was quick. I believe it was the quickest kebab/lawasz i ever gotten. In fact, it was so quick, the meat inside was tough and some bits were not fully cooked. There were little vegetables inside and the sauce was a bit sour, even for garlic standards.

The place is beautiful with an excellent ambient. The food quality is awesome, I asked for a donner kebab, it was perfect. They are also super fast in delivering the food, we wait less than 10 minutes. Excellent relationship price quality.

Ive come two times now and i am really curious why there are always such queues. The lavish wrap is dry, the meat dry and generally put together with no love. There are much better kebab places imo but if i was drunk at 2am and happened to be outside, I'd eat here but i definitely wouldn't go out of my way.

For me it is one of the best place for kebab!
