Brown water comes out of the taps for first 10 seconds if you enter the room the first time. The staff is not willing to switch off the loud crapy music at the pool, if you asked them to. Some renovations needed.

This is going to be a mixed review. In short, the hotel is good, just not five-star good as advertised. First, the good: the rooms are spacious with nice, comfy beds and good air conditioning - important given how hot the city gets. It's off the Plaza de Armas a little, which cuts down on the mototaxi noise. If you're out at the pool, the balcony wall also blocks it out a little. The restaurant has a good breakfast buffet, the standard offering down here. The food at least tasted fresh. Wait staff was pretty quick bringing coffee out. I ate one night there for dinner, and the Amazon-specific dish I ate was tasty. The shuttle is prompt and comfortable both to and from the airport (no extra charge). Now the not so good: you expect a certain level of service when a hotel advertises itself as "five-star." Rolling in at 10:30 at night and discovering your assigned room hasn't been cleaned yet is not one of those expectations. A mortified bellhop who thought on his feet and got me to a different clean room quickly is what saved the four-star review here. The second problem was in the gym: on a somewhat busy Sunday morning, I worked out about 40 minutes. Outside at the pool there were about 10 people, in the gym maybe 5. At no point did I see a staff member come along with new towels. I had to walk nearly all the way to reception just to get a staff member outside to provide new towels. It's something that would not normally bother me so much, but it's a five-star hotel as advertised. To conclude, I like the entire Costa del Sol network of hotels. Living temporarily in Peru, I have stayed in their hotels in Arequipa, Trujillo, Chiclayo, Piura and Pucallpa. Eventually I will get to their locations in Cajamarca and Cusco. The experience has always been good. This one was ok. I think they can improve this hotel a little more to help it live up to its rating.

The hotel has been totally refurbished with great success I have to say. The staff is really welcoming and with great attention to details. The food is amazing, great presentation and amazing flavours.

Underrated hotel. Better than other Wyndham Costa del Sol's that have more stars. Very friendly staff who go out of their way to be helpful. (To be fair, all C de Sol staff everywhere are great.) Nice rooftop pool area. Excellent restaurant. Overall, this hotel just feels very comfortable and 'homey'. Highly recommend.

Walls paper thin – can hear absolutely everything. Elevators didn’t work so we had to use the stairs. Terrible service in the restaurant, twice it took a half hour to get a coffee. Asked the manager Miguel for a quiet room on an upper floor and was put in a room on a lower floor overlooking a school at recess, because he said there was nothing else available. When I complained and demanded a change of rooms suddenly there WERE other rooms available. Pool had filth floating on the top of it, too gross to swim in. Bathroom was not cleaned properly and only had one towel and one handtowel. Housekeeper turned on the bath water and left it running full-blast while she cleaned other rooms... such a waste of water. Restaurant called me in my room in the middle of the night, waking me up, because they forgot to have me sign my receipt when I was there hours before. i understand Pucallpa is a humble place but this hotel could use some serious attention.

Hmm I'm stayed for a week and I really get tired and boring the same breakfast they don't even have a car to pick up and bringing back the passenger to the airport they use to have nice service but not anymore that's the third time to go there and the the things don't change unfortunately gets worse
