Enjoyed an immersive traditional lunch experience set within Korea House. Traveller's Tips: 1. Korea House is located up a slight ramp that's next to an art centre and shop. Easy to miss if you're a tourist. 2. The food is Korean traditional style and has the more subtle Seoul tastes than other places like Jeonju or streetfood style. 3. Be mindful and respectful - It's a more quiet setting and you will need to take off your shoes to enter the restaurant. We ordered one of the set lunch menus which had 8 courses (see photos). Thoroughly enjoyed the dishes, especially the spicy flat fish, abalone and grilled beef. The bibimbap was also flavourful and with very fresh ingredients. The menu reminds me of Cantonese cuisine that relies on the natural flavours but with a Korean touch. Don't expect each course to be large (and there are plentiful side dishes "banchan" to go with) but we were well satisfied after the entire meal. We also wanted to call out that the service was great - efficient and respectful at all times. Outside, Korea House is a Instagrammer's paradise with the traditional hanok setting, garden, fish pond and Namsan backdrop. Remember to take a short walk around the grounds before or after your meal. Definitely recommended experience!

Even the koreans book their lunch or brunch in here to have traditional korean confectionery experience. The snack facilitators were all dressed up in traditional korean hanbok attire. The background music is traditional korean instrumental music and the place is a hanok house itself. All in one it’s full of fancy if you really like korea. The confectionery were really good and unique taste. The facilitator were explaining everything about the confectionery in korean. Then they will ask you to enjoy the meal. You can spend as much time as you want. But i left after 1 hour!

There was seafood, including crab stew. Even though the portions of the food was small, by the time I was done with the courses, I was full. I would say that the food isn't super amazing as you would get at the food carts. But it has a more elegant taste, that makes it taste good.

Great experience! I booked my experience through klook. I chose a royal feast & performance. I suggest at least 1.5hours for the dinner + 1 hour performance. Even though I booked 7pm, I wisely arrive earlier at 6.15pm & was promptly showed to my table. The show started at 8pm. The amount of time is just right. The meal was better than expected & more luxurious than stated in klook. There was prawns, scallop, abalone, fish, beef for the basic set even though the menu stated in klook looked very simple. Went there on a weekday during my vacation. Scenery was great. Many photo opportunities if you need them. Very authentic interior with music for dinning. Food was very average. I could've gotten better tasting equivalent food at the nearby eateries and for a more affordable price. Portions were also extremely little. We ordered the 신선로 정식 B Rotal Hot Pot Jeongsik B Price wise is fine since we are from Los Angeles where everything is 20% service charge + fees. I came here before their big remodeling. Food was great with traditional touch. This time food was outrageously disgusting. First appetizer the chips drenched in used oil with strong cow grease. A dried shrimp that was hard to chew off paired with stale pastry. That had set the tone. Although plate settings, backdrop ambience and staffs were spectacular. The abalone was greasy ( speaking from someone that loves fried food); I almost gagged on the burger patty which had an unpleasant taste of the chips I had earlier in the appetizer. The tiny hotpot was soggy. Then came later the dessert set which was great. The only good thing of the meal. When I digging into it, the server added an item onto the set. (I didn't know why this item came in later....when another person already had it) Overall, I really miss the menus before the great remodel or pre lock down. I did see a very respectable actress that day and a few tables of Japanese ladies went there having lunch. I probably come back just for their dessert set. To make reservations, I had had about 20+ email back and forth due to seasonal menu changes. I was looking at Naver reservation menu while they updated the English new menu only weeks before I flying out on their website.
