I just went to Wonju Chueotang. I looked it up on Naver and went there. As expected, the loach stew here was delicious. The kkakttugi was really good. The taste of the soup is also my favorite. I want to go one more time.

Chueotang also varies depending on taste, but I think loach stew is the most common flavor here. I think there will be the least likes and dislikes. If you add perilla seed powder together, you can enjoy it more savory. You can also capture the scent through Sancho powder. Once you order, the food comes out quickly. So, even if there are a lot of customers during lunch, there are still seats. This is a healthy food that you must eat in this hot weather. 11,000 won per bowl can be a burden... The prices have risen so much...😞

This restaurant is specialized for “추어탕 Chueo-tang(Loach Soup)” If you want to taste real Korean cuisine then just visit here.  This dish is a soup prepared by purging sand out of live loach by boiling in salted water. The boiled and cleaned loach is then ground in a blender and brought to a boil again with various ingredients, such as leek, dried radish greens, and gochu-jang. It is a popular health food in Korea.

The loach stew is really better than the fried food. The restaurant is also very clean.

I ordered loach stew for 11,000 won. The soup is a bit salty. As a side dish, cabbage kimchi and radish kimchi are served, but they are not tasty. I wonder why they are served. Unlike other places, the cut chives are not served separately.
