For less than AUD 100, Hotel 8 Hours is an excellent value-for-money hotel in the centre of Seoul. While the rooms are quite compact, the service is great, and the staff were the highlight of my stay. I stayed at the hotel for the last few days of February.

It's a great little hotel! Excellent location and helpful staff. The entrance is hard to find though - if you see the overhead sign with the hotel name on it you need to walk back to the previous building entrance and you'll see a "Hotel 8 Hours 2F" sign on the back wall. You can use stairs or elevator.

Had an unreal experience at Hotel 8 Hours. Immediately as soon as I checked in I was greeted by Joon, the most accommodating hotel staff i’ve ever met. The hotel was very clean, very friendly staff, and great location to subway stops such as city hall and Myeongdong. I would highly recommend staying here.

Walls were a bit thin but everything else was great

I visited the Hotel for two nights during my trip in South Korea in 2019. The room was clean, not so small and comfortable! The crew was really nice and helping 😊

June was such a great host. We spent one night here but wish we had spent more nights because it was so comfortable. Very hospitable owner! Would highly recommend staying here.

Excellent stay in Hotel 8 hours in central Seoul! Excellent host Don speaks great English/Thai. He was very helpful about recommendations using the Naver App as google doesn't work well in Seoul. The hotel is on the second floor, nested among many restaurants, convenience stores, 2 mins from airport bus stop, Namdaemon Market, Myeong Shopping District, near City Hall subway exit 6 and pre booked DMZ tours meet here. The room had a small window, air conditioning facilities and TV. It could do with more electrical sockets. Otherwise, showers have good pressure with 2 modes, small and big shower head. Expresso (free coffee) machine, hot and cold water dispenser. You can borrow a giant umbrella for rainy days. Great budget stay in central Seoul with kind and caring hosts!

The location is perfect for city center in seoul. The staff is very helpful and it is also very easy to get clothes washed for 5000 won. However the room we booked (standard 2 bed) was so extremly small that it was hard to get passed by eachother. It definitly looks bigger in pictures. Also there are no blinds for the windows so you can not darken it and therefore the room is quite bright already at around 7 am.

The reception can speak Thai,well. Room is appropriate for drop and out or sleep, air conditioner/heater and hot water are impressed.

Receptionist was good, but as I plugged in the socket to charge laptop, it blew off, & broke the circuit. It was 12:02am, and hence there wasn't anyone at reception. Also unfortunate as I checked out by 6:54am Good for two people to share cost instead of a single or family as there were separate single beds although I booked for alone.

A nice, cosy and economic place to stay in Seoul. Conveniently near to Myeongdong market.

This hotel is in a nice spot in Seoul between a lot of restaurants, rates are affordable too and the owner is a nice guy. The beds and rooms are also nice Recommend this place.

Definitely a hidden jem. Nice rooms. perfect for people who prefers their bath and toilet separated. Comfy beds. has convenent stores and restaurants around. Will come back!

Good hotel for the price. In a decent location for action. The major protests about the president were a street away, it was fun and interesting to see. It has a ton of food places near by, both American and Korean chains.

The staff easy very nice and I really liked the lounch. But the shower in the room is directly in the room and not directly to the bathroom, which makes it quite uncomfortable to shower. Also there was quite a bit of dust in and around the beds. But the beds felt great, there was a rack for clothing, good TV and a small cooler.
