I wish I could rate this even higher! Everything was perfect. John (Yang Janghyuk) went above and beyond to make our stay great. We were there for part of our honeymoon so he gifted us a bottle of wine and some snacks! He also gave us some great local food recommendations. Our room was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The hotel was very close to the station and lots of restaurants as well as the Seoul Botanical Garden (although this wasn't in bloom this time of year).

Really had a great short stay at this hotel. A bit disappointed at the same breakfast menu, but food is still great. Staff are very nice, place is very clean, no flaw besides the food. Recommending this place to everyone. Can’t wait for the Botanical Garden to come to life. Moreover, super loved the LG Smart TV in the room as it was easy to navigate because of the magic remote.

Very convenient location and super nice staff. Room is spacious and clean as well. It’s super close to the airports, yet only 15 min subway from Hongdae. The hotel is next to botanic park so very peaceful as well. There are also some good food and coffee options right across the street. Had a very good stay here.

It is quite expensive hotel for me, but I went there for celebrating family day in May. Well arranged stuff and very organizing room. Clean! But it is small for four(4) family.

The hotel is located very conveniently along subway line 4 and airport line, next to, practically in the Seoul Botanic Park. The location is almost on the outer edge of Seoul, but subway makes it very easy to get around. Hotel rooms were very comfortable - they provided complimentary amenities such as bathroom, slippers, toothbrush+paste kit, and etc. The rooms were very clean and housekeeping team did a great job of keeping the rooms and facility spic an span. Best thing about this hotel is the professionalism consideration of the staff. Everyone we encountered was very polite and helpful. Specifically, I'd like to recognize Alec at The Garden Kitchen (restaurant) who assisted in escorting my mother who was lost. He was kind and patient with my elderly mother who is affected by dementia. Also would like to recognize Angela at the front desk for providing such a welcome and pleasant check in process. As mentioned previously, the best thing about this hotel is the staff.

I recently had a less-than-satisfactory experience at the Courtyard Marriott Seoul Botanic Park. Unlike my previous stays, the service quality was noticeably lacking. There was no acknowledgment of my birthday or any indication that they cared about my presence as a guest. Additionally, I found the room quality to be disappointing, as it was dusty and not up to the usual standards I have come to expect. This was particularly frustrating after a late flight, as I had hoped for a comfortable and pleasant stay. Regrettably, based on this experience, I have decided that I will not be returning to this hotel in the future.

9 months late but its still worth it to make this review. Let me start with a quick story: We booked Courtyard Marriott (Seoul Botanic Park, South Korea) last 23 December 2022. Our booking was supposedly until 2 January 2024. Our plane touched down Korea early morning so we headed off right away to Courtyard. Staff: Apologies , but there was no booking made.... We literally almost broke down as we were tired, roughly 1-2 hours of sleep, we have 2 kids, we were hungry and we were freezing as it was -11 then suddenly bad news had to hit us. Long story short, the concierge went beyond and above just to figure out if we could get a room last minute given that its holiday. I must say thank you to AI. You have done a great gesture for us. We cant thank you enough for being a good hearted soul. Courtyard is already an outstanding hotel but with you being part of them makes Courtyard one of the best hotels worldwide. This isnt a bias review just because we were offered help. This is an honest and sincere review from guests who were happy in every aspect of their trip to Korea because of Courtyard and people like Ai.

I stayed at the hotel one night and the location was perfect because of the proximity to the Gimpo airport. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room and service. The food in the restaurant on the ground floor was excellent.

Update: unfortunately nothing changed since I wrote the previous review 3 years before. Breakfast is the most critical point which have to change. And additionally the TV program is only for Koreans, no really TV programs for English speaking customers (except News channels) Nice place for stay. Good connected to the Gimpo and Incheon airport as well to the city. Rooms are clean and the overall service is great. Breakfast is less then 4* standard. Every day same choice of food. Service personal fit breakfast can be more friendly and attentively. The toilet seats are very cheap looking.

All ways you can trust Marriott brand. Very convince transportation location and front of park. Surround area lots of restaurants and bars.

Amazing location & super friendly staff! Hotel was very clean & rooms were spacious compared to other Korean hotels. Check in & check out was a breeze & front desk staff are courteous & helpful. I can't remember the name of the guy who checked me in but he offered me a bottle of wine when I told him I just got off an international flight from the US. I declined & he gave me some lovely cookies which was very thoughtful. So relieved they speak English since my Korean isn't that great. Subway station is less than a 5 min walk & makes touring the city super easy.

CONS - The room cleanliness wasn't good. Staff is not helpful, I was easy to find out where it was not organized. The facilities are good though, but the service is bit disappointed. PROS - The location is perfect, the tube station is very near the hotel. Also there's good to take a walk place. This hotel will be a good option if you do business trip without expecting hotel service. But if you want accommodation + extra service, I can't recommend it. I won't come back. There are so many nice hotel in Seoul.

Like the room, specially the big rooms with one big bed. They put a nice sofa on the side in place of another bed in other rooms. Located next to a nice park and underground station. Plenty of places to eat nearby but a bit far from the main attractions in Seoul.

Location is good with many restaurants near. The park is right next to it. Interior of the rooms are spacious.

Good access in the between downtown to airport for both tourist and business purpose.

Remarkably, I only utilized less than 20,000 points for this stay. If you've predominantly stayed in Marriott hotels within the United States and have some familiarity with the Courtyard brand, prepare to be utterly amazed. This stay will make you question if your previous experiences were a mere illusion. I'm genuinely unsure who orchestrated all of this, but the staff went above and beyond to provide me with a room on the highest floor boasting a breathtaking view. The added bonuses of a complimentary breakfast, which would typically cost over $100 per person, and a free bottle of wine truly left me in awe. I must admit that I'm not accustomed to writing hotel reviews, but this extraordinary experience warrants the highest praise. Furthermore, the hotel's convenient proximity to the subway station, just a mere 3-minute walk away, makes it the epitome of convenience. All in all, this stay has been nothing short of outstanding, and I can confidently say that this hotel has it all.

Our family LOVED our stay at this hotel. Everyone was so hospitable and nice, including Anna and D Park at the Garden Kitchen helping us with breakfast and Alice and her colleagues at Reception / Concierge giving us local restaurant recommendations and calling Taxis. The rooms were also clean, spacious, and comfortable. This hotel is super close to the subway making it easy to get around the city. If we come back to Seoul with, we would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Excellent location. This hotel is definitely one of the best Marriott in the country. Located right next to the Seoul Botanic Garden, it was a lovely walk to see all the greenery. The room is made to perfection and the design and decor is focused on environmentally friendly. The wall even helps absorb the humidity and the room card is made out of wood. Very simple and elegant design. I arrived here a few days after my birthday and the staff noticed it at check in and gave us a bottle of wine as a gift! It's the thought that counts. I was at Aloft Seoul Gangnam on my birthday before coming here and both being four star hotels, the staff here is not only considerate but pay attention to all the detail even about the customer. Simply luxury design had me here wanting to return again for sure in the future! On the day of check out I had a leak from the ceiling but the staff took care of it in speedy time. I cannot complain! Lastly, you can order in the room and have the robot deliver you the food and items!!!

Absolutely loved this hotel, everything was just amazing, the check in process, the cleanliness, this hotel feels more like 5 stars. And I also absolutely loved the location right by the botanic garden, 1 min walk from the subway exit. You can take direct train to the Incheon airport, so it’s super convenient. Also I was gifted a pack of chips at the check -in, highly appreciated after a long day spent on the plane 😄 Will definitely come back!

Located very near to the subway, with direct train to airport and Seoul. The area around the hotel is bit laid back, but there are lot of options for food nearby. There is a park and a botanical garden nearby too. Staff and service were good and fast. In-room dining options can be improved.

The hotel was clean and cozy. This new courtyard was much better than other courtyard hotels. Room service menu were affordable and delicious. The BEST thing was the green view of the Botanic Park. You have to stay at Park view room at this hotel. Peaceful, clear, open park offers perfect opportunity to recharge your batteries.

Loved it here. Took away 1 star because the rooms didn't have a bidet. Service was amazing. The breakfast buffet was unbeatable. Within walking distance to a variety of eateries. Would stay here again

Newly built hotel in Magok area very closed to Kimpo Airport. Smooth and fast check in with super kindness and smiles. I forget the name who helped me during check in, but I give 6 stars. Airport direct train is available just few steps away from the hotel entrance. However, I am inconvenienced by not having toilet bidets in the room.

Very clean and covid safe hotel, offering room service bites and convenience store goods by Cobot, robot delivery to minimise human to human contact. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent and rooms were very clean and a good size.

Enjoyed family brunch at the Garden Kitchen. One of the servers, Arlo, was amazing, constantly helping to clear the table, treating everyone with smile, and being very attentive to our needs! He just made our brunch so special. Kudos to Arlo for being exceptional! Buffet has good enough spread. Tables are spacious. Beverage options are not satisfying but okay. Location is good having the Seoul Botanic Garden right next to it.

Amenities & assistance are quite unexpectedly poor yet the room bedding is great

The stay was amazing! I used my suite award upgrade and they gave me the king suite room with the whole view of the botanic garden. It was so great and the room was nice! The service was stellar! Jae Hoon Jung was so kind and accommodating! Since we had to check out early morning and couldn't get the free breakfast, he brought up a delicious dessert and fruit plate to our room with a really kind letter. Also, the staff member who brought up our luggage to the room was nice too, and at 4:30am checkout, the front desk staff man was so thoughtful and helped us get a taxi and load the luggage! They made the last day of our Seoul trip amazing. The location is really great! The train station is close by along with great restaurants! It's super easy to get down to central Seoul. We will definitely come back to stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Seoul Botanic Park!!
