After a previous horrible stay in the biggest suite they have, we decided to try again… Worlds apart, the reception team was super lovely, didn’t get her name, young blonde.. really took her time to ensure a memorable welcome Deluxe room, perfect layout, best beds, showers are incredible and everything just works! One of my favourite groups of hotels

We had a fabulous evening. From the welcome into the restaurant right to leaving we really enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the surroundings. The service was really good. The prices are great for the quality of the food, and the wine was also great and well priced. Would totally recommend for a special night out. Love, love, loved it ❤️. Would absolutely go back next time I'm in Leeds.

The best hotel I've ever stayed at🐐 An exceptional expirience from the moment you arrive at the reception, to the lovely slick decor on the way to your room. The rooms are spacious, with generous items from robes to slippers, great soundproofing rooms (*cough *cough 😅) and comfy bed and sofa. There is a great restaurant in the lounge area as well as a balcony area to enjoy lovely drinks. Usually hen parties can occur on weekends so don't miss out on the fun.... Just be aware there is a deposit the hotel charges on arrival which is the only downside to the stay, so just expect to be willing to pay £50 but you do get this holding amount returned pretty quick so not so bad.

This hotel is in an excellent location, just a few minutes walk to the Trinity shopping mall, nearby restaurants and Q-Park. Beautiful looking building, gorgeous scent as soon as you enter the lobby and the staff are very professional and welcoming. Easy online check-in and a decent £7.50 discount off the £25 24hr parking. The room was super clean, stylish decor and has a nice relaxing/romantic vibe. Large wall mounted TV with free Sky TV included, big open shower and although the entire hotel is very dark throughout, it's unique and works well. I would definitely stay here again and other Dakota hotels in future. 5*.

This is one of those hotels which might not come up based on a star rating based filter, the reality is people forget that start ratings mean facilities and you can have a bad heavily starred hotel. This hotel is an exceptionally good city stay hotel for business and pleasure, rooms are as good as any at this rate and if you eat in the restaurant is better than some independent restaurants at the same sort of per head cost. I would say its straight forward value for money and I would stay her again the next time we come to Leeds.

Stayed for the one night. Lovely hotel. Room was great. Can't comment on food as wasn't feeling particularly well. Next time in Leeds, definitely be back

I and a friend were at Dakota for Sunday dinner and I must say that the ambience was great and the staff were amazing. For dinner, we had the sirloin steak paired with the peppercorn sauce and this was insanely delicious. We also had a Caesar salad on the side and the tempura king prawns. It was all tasty. I enjoyed every bit of the experience.

I had the pleasure of being served breakfast by Faith during my stay at the Dakota Hotel, and I must say that her service was exceptional. Faith was not only attentive but also incredibly helpful throughout my stay. She went above and beyond to ensure that I had a wonderful dining experience each morning. Her warm and friendly demeanor added a special touch to my stay, making it truly memorable. I greatly appreciate her dedication to providing outstanding service, and I highly recommend Faith to anyone visiting the Dakota Hotel. Thank you, Faith, for making my stay so enjoyable!

I genuinely love this hotel. The decor, the lighting, the service, basically everything. It's also very handy that they have an amazing cocktail bar, so you don't even need to out for a great evening.

What a gorgeous hotel. Rooms were very comfortable. The shower was amazing. For a city centre hotel, it was incredibly quiet. Lovely lighting throughout, couldn't be a better location for bars and restaurants.

We booked valet parking weeks in advance to be told on the night that they were fully booked. Took us hours to get parked in their recommended car park. Then when we finally got in the room the blinds were broken and unable to close and the room wasn't particularly clean. Probably one of the worse hotels I've stayed in when visiting Leeds.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Our room was spotless going in and the cleaners kept it that way the full 3 nights. Location was great too. Very close walk to everything nearby. Lots to see and do! Staff where fantastic and always very polite and welcoming.

Very pleasant experience. we were welcomed by a friendly concierge,Ham, who took us through the registration process and assisted us to our rooms. The rooms are contemporary, but the bed does look a tad small. Very clean facilities with a mix of bars and restaurants over two floors. Make sure you visit the bar on the first floor. Only spent a night but will definitely repeat, it's beautifully situated and everything you need is within walking distance. An on site gym would be a huge plus.

The well trained staff make this a stand out hotel. From friendly check in to attentive service they made our stay. Our room was very nicely decorated and felt calm and relaxing. The bed was a little soft and saggy in the middle which let the room down slightly. The bar serves great cocktails but can feel a little busy with it being by a main entrance. Overall a good hotel in a great location.

I have had the privilege and pleasure to stay at this exceptionally wonderful hotel on many occasions from the not so standard double to the premium deluxe (best in the hotel) and all room in between. Every room is immaculate and exceptionally well appointed. Super clean and well equip regardless of budget. I love the decor, which is right on trend from point of entry, the lifts, halls and of course the rooms. All staff are exceptional, Laura the duty manager, the reception staff and last but not least the valet chaps who are just very polite and kind. I love the food at the hotel and the little touches in the rooms are just great and quality. I have taken the shower product and installed it in my own house. It is quality and the staff are the best i have dealt with in my vast worldwide travels. Dakota great design, great execution but most of all a great team at Leeds are really setting you apart from other hotels in the area. 20/10 amazing and see you again very soon. Went to the branch in Leeds. Had the best experience of my life. The whole team were very helpful and very supportive! They even treated us to a complimentary champaign! Vincent helped us throughout the whole date, kept checking on us, was very understanding & has adapted to all our needs holistically. Top man! I cannot thank him enough.

Absolutely lovely hotel. Amazing rooms, good staff and a very good location in Leeds. Close to it all. The staff couldn’t have done more to make our time pleasurable and I can’t wait to come back some time. The breakfast was really good too

I visited the restaurant at Dakota and everything about it was excellent. The food was outstanding, and the service from the staff was abive and beyond - nothing was too much trouble. We were a large booking of 16, and everything was perfect. Would highly recommend 👌

Lovely hotel, very dark inside (furnishings/ornaments) ive never seen anything like it but it is lovely, so peaceful well decorated, lovely Upper class restaurant, unfortunately in the restaurant I had 5 very loud drunk men in. Dropping bread in drinks and things wasn't very appealing. But the restaurant is public. They did there best with them would definitely go again

We throughly enjoyed every minute of our stay. From the moment we entered it was warm and welcoming. The whole hotel smells beautiful. The facilities in our gorgeous room was well thought out and easy to use. The shower is refreshingly simple to use! Beds so comfortable. Food really tasty and service was great. Please do try this wonderful hotel. Its very clear the staff are happy there and proud to be a part of this wonderful hotel .Special mentions to Debbie, Dave, Alistair and Mesi who were exceptional. Would love to return.

Beautiful hotel, somewhat bijou but the staff on reception were lovely. When I called to make amendments to the booking, I found the staff abrupt to the point of rude. The rooms are lovely though lacking in quality teas/coffees/condiments. Not as good as other high end hotels imo. Would use again.

I stayed in one of the Suite Rooms. The room was spacious with a complimentary minibar which was very useful after a full day's work. A lovely sitting room area to relax, too, and the bath was bliss. Only 8 mins walk from the train station and plenty of restaurants and bars on the doorstep. Perfect location.

The food, atmosphere and Staff were all really incredible, they had a wide selection of British Wines. The Staff were really attentive, our server was Mesi who was just brilliant and really added to our experience of Dakota. Thank you ever so much for a wonderful meal and conversation.

Good Hotel. Rooms are spacious and have a desk to work which makes it very good for business trips. It’s located in the city center. Cons, it doesn’t have a gym and they charge you 5 pounds each time you get room service. Also, the menu is not as good as the regular menu from the restaurant downstairs.

I had an excellent stay at Dakota, the room was lovely. It was very close to the city centre so it was the ideal location for a city break. The food and bar service was impeccable, I was especially grateful for the service of the waitress Issy. She was extremely helpful and very friendly.

Location couldn't be better. City centre but quiet and only a few minutes walk from everything you need. The staff are always friendly and efficient, making checking in and out simple. The room itself was clean and comfortable, with a feeling of luxury.

Beautiful venue. Exquisite food. Lovely staff / humans. Hope to visit and stay next time. We just came along for food in the restaurant. I recommend the mushroom, caramelised onion, spinach on sourdough... absolute heaven on a plate.

Love this hotel its got everything you need for a city break. Comfortable spacious rooms nice bars. Staff very attentive. Right in the centre of bars and restaurants. Short walk to train station. Perfect.

Best hotel I’ve ever been to. Service was out the roof. Upon arrival member of staff carried luggage to my room. Receptionist was lovely. Helped me set up for a birthday surprise and breakfast was amazing! Very modern look to the rooms with attractive interior.

One of those places that just takes it to the next level, both with their food and their service. The kitchen was very accommodating to dietary restrictions and even provided little tasters. We had a very kind waitress who was very attentive. The food was exciting and perfectly executed. A very classy establishment. Thank you Dakota, and shout out Mesi (I think that was our waitress' name)

Rooms are amazing and the hotel itself is super slick with a really good vibe. Vincent in the bar area is fantastic, always going that extra mile for you to make you feel comfortable. Recommend anyone staying here

When you are paying this amount of money you just expect something for it. Positive The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Negative We checked in to be told we couldn’t collect any reward points as we used a booking site not their own website. We were also told it would have been cheaper on their own site which is totally not true especially with a genius booking discount, as we checked. The high room rate does not include breakfast for which they wanted an extra 19.00 per head, just not worth it.Had breakfast in town at a quarter of the price. Left room for work at 07.30 placed ‘please make up my room ‘ sign on door, returned at 14.30 room still not serviced. Was completed by 15.00.sign totally pointless. Evening drink in bar last orders called at 23.00 even for residents ???? In a hotel of this star rating very odd. Staff totally disinterested in their guests until we left when for the first time in two days the concierge who was very friendly engaged in conversation. Not worth the premium price paid.

From driving up to leaving Dakota everything is always perfect. Dom is fantastic, helpful and very friendly, reception team are fantastic and the rooms excellent with big comfy beds. We have eaten in the restaurant on our last few visits and would highly recommend. Dakota is by far the best hotel in Leeds.

The location and room is lovely with a very relaxing atmosphere. The bar staff were also absolutely polite and provided excellent service. However, upon arrival, the male receptionist was quite rude to my family and I. This was very disappointing as this was not very inviting. The room was booked for a member of my family. The receptionist seemed somewhat annoyed that we were accompanying them for check-in and seemed very adamant to make clear that it was a 1 person room, although we were the only people in the lobby and were clearly not intending to stay. On top of that, it seemed to be very bothersome to him to check them in and answer some basic question on the amenities available in the hotel. For a hotel that charges around £150 minimum for a room, a smile and common decency when speaking to my family would also not have been misplaced.

Hotel was lovely, beds and pillows where super comfy. Bedroom was really spacious, shower was great. Restaurant served incredible food, I had the chicken. Service was also great, our main server was Richason he was very polite and attentive. Highly recommend this hotel! Right in the centre of Leeds aswell.

Amazing bar. The staff looked after us so well. Made our 30th birthday day very very special. Amber was terrific and bent over backwards for us at very last minute. Great girl.

I recently met with friends for afternoon tea in the bar at Dakota Hotel. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful on the phone when I was booking our table. We were really well taken care of by the amazing Vincent in the bar. He gave us a really quiet table, but didn’t forget about us. It was a wonderful experience and I can’t wait to return. Oh yes, and the afternoon tea was delicious!

Had a lovely night away at Dakota in Leeds. The staff was ever so lovely, polite and helpful from the start to finish! The food was good, I had the steak( med rare) The duck was really nice! However the dessert was gorgeous but not big enough I could of had 3 more! The room was big and beautiful, bed extremely soft, however the decor is a little dark so it was a pain trying to get ready for the evening time! 100% recommend and can't wait to go again.
