The
hotel
was
clean
and
quiet,
the
parking
was
easy
enough
when
we
arrived,
and
the
automated
check-in
was
great.
This
is
where
the
good
things
end.
We
arrived
at
the
hotel
at
around
12:30
and
were
told
that
no,
no
rooms
were
available
for
early
check
in.
She
knew
this
without
even
looking
at
the
system.
We
therefore
had
to
get
dressed
for
a
wedding
in
the
public
toilets
and
I
had
to
do
my
hair
in
the
restaurant
(very
hygienic),
as
suggested
by
the
attendant
who
answered
my
ringing
the
bell.
Having
worked
in
several
hotels,
I
know
that
people
always
check
out
early
and
there
are
at
least
some
rooms
clean
by
10am.
It
makes
little
difference
to
anyone
if
people
occupy
those
clean
rooms
for
an
extra
2
hours.
It
was
more
than
a
bit
inconvenient
to
have
to
drag
all
our
things
in
twice,
once
very
late
at
night
when
we're
exhausted.
It
should
also
be
mentioned
that
we
did
try
to
ring
the
day
before
and
could
not
get
in
touch
with
the
hotel
at
all.
We
arrived
in
the
room
to
find
it
stiflingly
hot
with
no
way
of
immediate
relief
because
the
windows
didn't
open.
The
bed
was
hard
as
a
rock,
which
is,
of
course,
subject
to
personal
preferences,
but
it
could
at
least
be
moderately
more
comfortable!
The
biggest
problem
was
that
the
windows
didn't
open
and
the
'constant'
stream
of
'fresh
air'
would
only
go
down
to
19
degrees
so
we
spent
all
night
too
hot
on
a
hard
bed.
I
think
we'll
avoid
Premier
Inn
from
now
on.
