Very nice 😊 and delicious 😋 Indian food here. Dishes tasted quite unique and creativity is really on another level. Good thing their meat is halal. Definitely a must try.

Fabulous India restaurant in Chapel Allerton, Leeds. It's the second time I've been and on both occasions the food and service were excellent. Great vegetarian choices. An absolute must if you're in the facinity.

Both me and my partner were both looking forward to experiencing and eating food from Goa and were excited at the prospect of trying South Asian cuisene. We arrived were met with a host of smells to invite us into the venue, which had a lovely atmosphere and all the the staff were attentive and service was speedy. With good drink choices and some classics available like thumbs up However when it came food it lacked a real kick i was expecting. Ultimately the food wasn't as good as I anticipated and this left us both disappointed with the experience.

Been wanting to try Da Baga for ages, so dropped in with a friend on the way to a gig nearby. Friendly service with a smile from all of the staff, who chatted to us quite a bit and checked that we enjoyed our food. So much choice of mouthwatering dishes, we struggled to choose, as (in a perfect world) we'd like to have tried one of everything. Shared King Prawns and Squid starters, followed by both having the House Chicken with naan breads. Washed down with Indian coke and fanta, it was extremely tasty and authentic. Will definitely return soon to try more of the other dishes.

I will not feel regret to visit this restaurant more than twice! Thank You for excellent service!

We cannot thank Param, Mandeep and the whole De Baga team enough for catering our wedding last weekend. It was the best day of our lives - made even better by the phenomenal service we received from these guys. Friendly, helpful, professional, we felt completely reassured that De Baga would deliver on the big day and deliver they did! The food was so good that a week on, our guests are still talking about it, service was done with huge smiles all round and everyone left with full stomachs and hearts! The amount of communication we’ve had with Param over the last few months, we feel like he’s a member of our family and we can’t wait to pop into the restaurant soon to relive the deliciousness all over again. If you’re looking for stand-out Indian food for your wedding or any event there is no where else to go. Truly one of the best decisions we made for our big day.

The naans were good. Palak paneer a bit bland(not talking about chills). I ordered the chicken biryani. It came in a bowl sealed with bread on top (I don't know how to describe it). There was cubes of fried chicken in a well spiced rice. It does taste nice but not biriyani. They have Jal jeera which was quite good. I didn't try, but there's one chat option as well. They also have vegan options. Some potato curry. It was good.

Without a doubt the best Indian meal I've ever had! The food was exceptional and my only disappointment was not being able to try more dishes! The staff were all amazing too and made it feel a very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere

What a find this place is. Truly incredible food cooked in an open kitchen. We had to wait a few minutes for a table, it's busyness clearly a testiment to the fact it's highly regarded. The atmosphere was lively & vibrant, managed deftly by two front of house who were super friendly & attentive. Our dishes were all outstanding, my personal highlight the Veg Caldin & the Puri. Do visit this place. It might be small but it is mighty!

This place is class. Went for a quick curry for 2 and they slotted us in. The lamb curry was delicious and the daal was exceptional - it had such a depth of flavour and was a lovely creamy consistency. Service was excellent-the male waiter/manager was very polite and professional. Restaurant looks amazing too, lovely plates and interior.

Loved this Indian restaurant. If you're a bit bored with the standard Bangladeshi style menus, do try this Goan themed fod. Marvellous. Definitely worth five stars.

We ordered Mankios (Squid) fry and Murgh Malai kebab for starters. The squid was good but could have been better. The kebabs were dry and not upto mark. The sweet potato fries were quite good to be honest. For mains, we ordered NH 66 mutton curry which was again disappointing. Overall, expected much more than what i got eventually.

De Banging

Restaurant fitted in our group. Food was not the usual Indian cuisine. Very regional and really interesting flavours. Unique experience. The food was very tasty and service was friendly and efficient. Definitely worthy of my 5* review. Will make a beeline for it as soon as I visit Leeds again.

Lovely decor. Very helpful and friendly staff. Lovely food with great balance of flavors and some inventive recipes. Maybe there should be a little more choice on the menu but overall really good.

Fantastic authentic food which has had me repeat visiting since it opened. It's not an enormous menu (and not a British curry house) but everything I've had has been delicious so I think they've opted for doing less but doing it all perfectly. Also had a couple of cocktails here which were really nice and the service has been good each time. It gets busy so I've always booked a table but not had an issues so far. Love visiting and will be going again.

The food's fantastic really felt the authentic goan flavours and staffs are really sweet!! Do try their momos.

Best ever service from De Baga . Deliveroo managed to lose my order and wouldn't resolve. The Manager and chef @ De Baga were amazing. They made up the order again and delivered it personally. They refused a gratuity, saying that they just wanted us to enjoy the food. We have eaten at the restaurant several times and can thoroughly recommend their exceptional food and incredible service.

I've had the pleasure of dining at De Baga twice, and on both occasions, I was met with excellent service from the friendly staff. What truly impressed me was the consistent quality of the food, which was excellent each time. De Baga is a must-visit for those seeking both exceptional service and the delight of authentic Indian cuisine.

Returning customer and love the menu, enjoyed trying my first biryani recently. Service was with a smile and dishes rich in flavour with good options for vegetarians. Would be good to see hot drinks on the menu too. It was a shame the back door was left open for ages with below freezing temperatures outside, but overall a gem in Headingley high street.

Massive fan of all asian food so I was a little disappointed with my first visit to this restaurant considering the majority of positive reviews. The service and the waitress were pleasant. Drinks were good. The two of the starters were very nice which were the sev puri and bao buns, the third was just battered and deep fried veg not a bhaji as described. I was looking forward to a friiter style bhaji. The mains really disappointed us. The first dish had two prawns and two fish fingers worth of fish for £18. The second veg dish tasted slightly better but just had pieces of hard root veg and some peas. 20% off the bill made it easier to swallow. You always feel short changed if you don't eat meat in restaurants like this. If you don't eat meat I'd give this a miss.

Prawn curry was good, soft and juicy! Crab was smelling, not washed/cleaned well before cooking, we were disappointed! Too big chunks of paneer for starter menu. Chicken curry was below average standard.

Warm, attentive service without being overbearing. The food brings all the satisfaction of a classic curry house with the sophistication of a top class restaurant. Interesting dishes and things you haven't tried before made with clear care and attention. You'll leave happier than when you arrived

Only a small restaurant so make sure to book. The menu did not contain hundreds of things to pick from but there is something for everyone. We had four different starters and four different main meals and they were all excellent. Fantastic flavour without being too spicy. Definitely recommend you try it. We will be back.

Unique food, nice restaurant and friendly staff, think I just need to visit again to find something more to my taste. Good atmosphere, friendly helpful staff, reasonably priced, the best Indian food I've eaten in years. All dishes delicious and unique, not your usual Indian menu. Will definitely go there again and I would whole heartedly recommend to anyone looking for something new to try.

Food is top quality. The only reason for a 3 star is that they automatically put an 18% service charge onto your bill. No advance notification given of this, which is poor.

Fantastic. A real delight. Me and my wife went here after looking at all the reviews and we weren’t let down. Such great tasting food and very authentic. Service was flawless. We’ve been to Goa before and loved the food out there and this place gets it spot on! I enjoyed the prawns starter and the wife had the paneer. We both then had the Dhal and house chicken for mains. All came out steaming hot as did the naans and the portions are big! That’s a nice change. It was all a real pleasure and we can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the dishes.

One of my favourite restaurants in leeds, if not ever! Every dish we have tried from their has been incredible, sooo flavourful. The menu options are different and exciting, yet very reasonably priced! We visited on valentines day and despite it bring extremely busy (which is a good sign) the food was up to exactly the same standard, as was the service. Could not recommend it enough. The cocktail with coriander in (can't remember the name) Is definitely worth trying, as is the seafood curry and soft shell crab!

This is the best Indian restaurant I have been to! The food was delicious, prices were good, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, there were plenty of vegetarian options to choose from, the atmosphere was great. 100% recommend, we will definitely be back! Passionate and attentive owner of the restaurant who I would say is now our new friend!

What a lovely night. Beautiful Traditional creative alternatives to the usual ‘western’ curries. Packed full of flavour. Great selection of wines and very reasonable in price. Nice buzzy atmosphere restaurant full so be sure to book. Free shots at the end to top it off. A friendly face also always adds to the experience.

This is the best Indian food I have ever had the pleasure of eating. It is inexpensive, hearty and authentic serving classics like mutton and dal. It is impossible to find this quality of food, service, warmth and hospitality anywhere else. The atmosphere in the small restaurant was buzzing even early on and the service is prompt while being personal. Cannot recommend this place enough!

This was our second visit to this small and busy Goan restaurant. All the staff are so friendly and the food is delicious. The menu is short which is a good thing but offers plenty of choice. The paneer starter was unusual and silkily gorgeous and the Dahl was just amazing. This can all be washed down with the in-house beer brewed by the owners.

Fabulous India food. From a region I of India me and my partner know well. Goa. Nearest we can get with the current situation (covid19). Only a small place. Bit more of a cafe look inside. Don't let that put you off. All staff are very pleasant and attentive. Was a late birthday meal from my partner. When they knew they came out with a slice of cake with a candle on. Nice touch. Made the more special.

The food here is outstanding. Please do not think twice about coming, here just do it, you will not be disappointed. Easily one of the top two Indian restaurants for me in the North, amazing job for a new establishment.........oh, nearly forgot about the cocktails, I sampled 3 from the menu and to be honest they were some of the best tasting I've had in a long long while!

Amazing food with great service and atmosphere! You can tell that everything on the dish is fresh; be it vegetables, meat or fish. They take great care with presentation and I noticed the dishes were very consistent (saw a couple of dishes we ordered being served to other customers too). Can see this place out growing it’s location and relocating to a larger premises, which I hope does not impact the currently flawless operation of the restaurant. Will be returning very soon! Well me and wife went to this restaurant on Tuesday 7th of July for my wife's birthday . No wonder this place as very good reviews .from the owner to staff were lovely .the owner was a gentleman and helped with the choice in meals and the food was absolutely beautiful .my wife enjoyed her birthday and she was treated with a surprise carrot cake and they sang a birthday song . Just ordered a takeaway and must say its the best takewaway ive had in ages. So flavourful! Its rare you say the poppodoms are amazing but you could taste the spices involved - the curries were phenomenal, the rice and bread too. Could not fault it.

Went there for my birthday. Really original menu focused on specific regional dishes from South India (so more seafood options than usual for instance). Really good selection of beers on tap as well. Highly recommend

Dined here tonight for the first time using EOTHO (50% off). Even without the discount the prices are very reasonable. The restaurant itself is somewhat small but tables well spaced and all surfaces made cleansable. Staff wearing appropriate PPE. All staff very friendly and helpful and the food was very very good.

Had a party of 25 for our sports club Xmas do and everything was fantastic. Service was fast and well organised and the food was amazing. Would highly recommend, everyone was great. The cocktails are particularly fab.
