Came and found it by complete chance. It was on the lower ground floor of LUU, easy to find. Fab and friendly staff, busy or not they will always offer great service. Good selection with good price. The hummus bowl is so tasty and fullfilling. You can choose what you like to add into the bowl and the foods look fresh and well-made. Also sometimes they have something special on the menu - keep an eye, they might surprise you!

Its ok, but not the best. Its very expensive and there is not much care taken when preparing the stuffed pitta breads, which often leads to a bad distribution of fillings. Add to this the large wait times and it becomes increasingly less appealing. There are better food outlets which provide better value for money in close proximity to this location. I probably won't buy from here again.

Im a regular at Humpit Leeds Uni. Its fantastic healthy food, served by a friendly team. Im not vegan myself and usually eat meat with most meals, but a humpit is the one thing I dont find needs any meat in it, its very filling and incredibly tasty. My favourite is the hummus bowl with all the extras and a lemonade.

As a vegan this by far the best place in Leeds to get lunch - very highly recommended! Loaded pita keeps me full all afternoon and the drinks are delicious

This is a cute cafe serving Mediterranean and Moroccan food from breakfast through to dinner. The interior is atmospheric and the menu is diverse with vegan, vegetarian and meat options. I really enjoy the milkshakes they do here as well as the food menu. I recently had the aubergino wrap for lunch and it tasted delicious (it surpassed my expectations). On other occasions I have enjoyed kebabs, tagines and pizza, all of which I would recommend. The service has always been great during visits and I would say the cost is very reasonable given the quality of the food. (Less than £10 for an evening meal & approx. £7 for lunch)

Other than the occasional bottle of hand san on a table, and a poster saying ‘keep 1m apart’ there didn’t seem to be any Covid-19 precautions in place. There certainly wasn’t 1m between guests, multiple staff without masks/PPE frequently leaned closely across us and our table and no details were taken should they need to inform us of any instances at the venue. Worlds apart from what I’ve experienced at other places around Leeds, would not go again.

Went a while ago and can’t totally remember my experience but nothing to complain about or but don’t believe it was particularly standout what we ordered. I do remember feeling a bit confused when we asked for an offer on the board outside after saying we’d eat in only to be told that was takeaway only.

20 mins to get a take away wrap on a Sunday lunchtime when the restaurant didn't appear busy. Was told it would be 10 mins. That said, the waitresses were very apologetic and provided a drink whilst I was waiting. (The owners response was written based on a review before the shake came...!)

I go to this excellent place once a month as I love the special air that is exist in this restaurant. The personel is extraordianrillyremarkably cordial and experienced. The service is remarkablywonderfully fast. Also, the food they cook is magnificent. I came more than once and I was always joyful. The cost is modest. I highly suggest this place to to all.

two days ago was our first time we went to this place. But It is definitely not the last. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the efficient service, with the finest meal and booze and with the comfortable payment. We will surely visit there in a short time.

We met with friends at this spot for a meeting. we heard about this place from quite a few people. Well, we were not disappointed. The crew were very polite and we felt fantastic. The food was just great. We enjoyed every moment and we will visit this place again. we highly recommend this place.

This place is worth a try. They have large portions for convenient rates. Always clean and with excellent atmosphere. I highly recommend this place.

We love their food...! Breakfast and lamb shank are absolutely gorgeous...! We also order pizza takeaway once/twice a week. Really nice environment and staff.

I ordered the lamb skewers which came with chips and salad. I thought that the lamb skewers tasted nice but was tough in some places, only apparent because my jaw felt really tired at the end. I felt like the dish could've been accompanied by some dip or sauce because grilled meat and fries on its own is quite dry. I tried some the sausage and baba ghanoush from my two friends' dishes, and it was done really well. Overall, the food especially the meats are done well however would've just liked something to dip on the side. I really would revisit but to try the lamb tagine!

Not even one star.... I have been there yesterday. My lemonade was warm.. Made with artificial lemon juice, wasn't fresh at all. Soup hot enough but not flavored. I ordered a mixed platter.. Meat was cold and dry and just tasted awful. The worst part in all this, we have been very sick, both me and my partner after leaving from there. He ordered the big burger. Which again was overcooked, dry and tasteless. I dont ever want to go back again. We are still unwell..

Such a cute place, the food is so delicious. So much to chose from and they have amazing vegan options. Service is lovely and the prices are very respectable. Highly recommend checking it out!

First of all, we had to wait 30 minutes outside. We were all quite hungry, so we ordered immediately, but we had to wait for another 45 minutes for our starter to arrive. If this wasn't bad enough, the staff were not apologetic. No explanation was given to us. When they did serve the food, they weren't very welcoming. The starter was nice but we don't think we will be returning any time soon.

Didn't enjoy the food

Ordered takeaway from here for the first time this evening, and I can genuinely say that it was the worst attempt at Arabic food I've ever experienced. I had a "kofte mezze" which included dry tabbouleh with no lemon juice, a spoonful of debatable houmous, and the driest meatballs I've ever tasted sat it tomato soup, supposedly moonlighting as a kofte kebab. I imagine their custom must majoratively be from well meaning students enticed by their large vegan selection who have no clue about what any of these dishes should actually taste like, and are happy to pay crazy prices for the "luxury" of this terrible food. I literally wouldn't eat here again if you paid me. I've only been in Leeds a few months, but I can assure you that there are far better places to eat at more reasonable prices.

Great falafel

The falafels here are amazing! Crumbly and with loads of flavour, plus the people working there are really friendly ☺ it is right in the university union, perfect location as you can go in right after or before your lectures.
