This isn’t a gym it’s an after school club! Made the big mistake of signing up in school holidays. Outside of this time the gyms unusable, big groups of kids crowded round all of the equipment with zero self awareness. Please try the gym before signing up.

Worst gym I’ve ever been to, if you can even call it one. The gym itself is tiny with broken and old machines and gets crowded quickly. So have fun not being able to use any machines if you have a 9-5 job! The opening times are also terrible, 7am-8pm on a weekday and 8am-4pm on a weekend. I’ve also been kicked out early numerous times by the staff because they’re lazy and feel like it. And with all this in mind, it’s £36.95 a month for a membership which is an utter rip off. Go to PureGym, it’s better.

The changing rooms need repairs and the showers are dreadful but the staff are lovely and the pool and gym both good.

Small, poorly kept facilities. The gym is absolutely tiny and although only refurbished around 8yrs ago, it is already showing its age. The leisure centre is also always booked up from block bookings so good luck trying to get something at the sports hall. The online booking system is a joke and overly confusing. They updated it from the last iteration, but somehow it is much worse.

I usually take my son swimming here. It's a cool clean place. We enjoy it here. The staff are friendly although a couple of life guards walk around with a chip on their shoulder, but the rest are very pleasant. The counter staff are friendly and very helpful...

Equipment is very outdated with a serious lack of machines. Process of getting in the gym takes ages sometimes queuing for more that 5 minutes. After work hours gym is packed full of school kids so no chance of getting a decent workout in

First time back at the gym after six months.Well organised plenty of cleaning aids and paper towels, easy to book on line track and trace on your phone helpful but take contact numbers, but some equipment not in use due to vivid but plenty of equipment to keep you a active.Quite this morning at the gym now that all the New Year resolution people have given up.Nice to see majority of people cleaning down after using some School kids struggle because Mum not there to clean UP AFTER THEM😂

Best GYM ever, great staff, Although, i think there needs to be a security guard on the door to prevent antisocial behaviour. Also, too many kids are ruining the place.

Gym is packed full of school kids during term time after work. They hog the machines in threes and it's overcrowded. Seemed to happen very quickly! Used to be good.

The place is clean & staff are friendly. The equipment are minimal & old. Needed updating also the classes are normally full therefore not able to attend. Activities like Badminton are charge heavily for already members like I was. Swimming times are limited too and there is no hairdryer in the premises. For a little more that I paid..i have now joined a more upmarket place.

Worst gym, I've never seen such unprofessional attitude from the staff because they are all illiterate and don't know how to communicate with others.

Two stars just for some staff but facilities it’s nearly zero very old and every time you’re going it’s something wrong and hope they had membership just for gym because never going swimming or classes

Gym is well equipped and the staff are friendly and very helpful. Changing rooms small and in need of a good facelift.

I grew up here and learnt how to swim 40 years ago. It's nice to see young kids coming to learn to swim still. However it's really sad that the rest of the classes are not up to speck. Circuit training was the foundation here and attracted many folks years ago. They need to up the days here of this and have backups in place if someone cannot take the class. A circuit training class had to be cancelled as staff did not show up. How many people take time out of their evening to be let down here. The mobile app itself is the worst I have seen you can't book anything with it. Pilates is always fully booked? However is very excellent. More of these pilate classes would strengthen the club. They are not being honest with their membership.

You'd think they've died at reception. Ringing for 30min straight with no answer. I'm sorry, this place is not THAT busy at 3pm. This is why these council run places need to go private so they will actually be accessible to locals.

Continue to take direct debits for my sons lesson two months after he had finished. He was told he was on a waiting list for the next level, he wasn’t. Didn’t issue refunds for my daughters swimming lessons that they cancelled and also for the bank holidays when they don’t run. They owe us over £70 in just two months. Had this issue a few times over the years and it’s just basic bad management which they can’t seem to fix. Changing rooms over crowded also. The actual lessons seem decent and some of the teachers are good

Apart from overcrowded change rooms, children loved the fun swim.

Well done scotthall leisure team! You've nailed the new measures enforced on you and it works! In fact it's better than how it was before. It's easy to book in your swim slot on the website once you've registered, you queue to get in at your time slot, they tick you off as you go in and assign you a changing room number which also has a locker number assigned to it. It's so much better now there are less people in the lanes, I was able to get in, get my swim done and out again hassle free and covid safe.

We do enjoying going to this pool with my daughter but last week we could dry our hair using hair dryer but today they said we were told the can't be turned on as is the new rule. I just don't believe it. Big disappointed!!!

A great venue for a game of squash. Make sure you have your Leedscard organised first otherwise casual bookings will not work

Great set of Technogym machines - better than other council gyms in the area. My fave machine is the Vario Excite 1000 cross-trainer, and they have 3 of those. Other facilities include 25m pool, sports hall for badminton/basketball/5-a-side/clubs and squash courts.

Great receptionists both ladies really helpful. Facilities are adequate. Good value for money. But be warned.....Keep an eye on your belongings.

Gone down the hole. Classes get cancelled and if there not canceled they are full. Gym has useless plastic machines. Not what it was years ago. Seriously needs a revamp. Scam alerts. People book the classes way in advance, you have no way to get a place in the class and you are left paying a membership not been able to attend the classed you want.
