Such a fun time! All thanks to Luke who was so kind and made the entire experience memorable. The fear he created and the support during the game were unmatched. We arrived 10 minutes late but he was so understanding and did not deduct any time from our slot. Even provided us with a discount at the end!

Really enjoyed the 'submerged' room which was well designed, had a good level of challenge and an immersive theme with fun puzzles. We went as a group of 12 which was split into 2 separate rooms - the choice to use some of your time to sabotage the other team was especially cool! Big thanks to Sophie for being a great host and making the experience fun and memorable!

It was one of the best experiences I had. It was a little bit challenging, but I enjoyed the experience. We were 4 and we really enjoyed our time there. Our game was run by Callum and Hannah. They were both so good, friendly and helpful and they gave us nice hints. Definitely going back.

We all had a fabulous work outing at the great escape! It was great fun doing the challenge and we all had a proper good laugh. Luke and Oscar were brilliant hosts and made it a truly stellar experience! 10/10 would escape again

Our first escape room visit, with 2 teens and an 11 year old. We all loved it! Challenging without being too difficult, and spooky but not scaring the living wits out of the youngest. Amy was fantastic with explaining everything and giving us clues when needed. We’d definitely return with the kids and without, as I think it would be great fun with a group of adults too.

Excellent escape room. We did Abducted which sets the scene brilliantly. Head covered, hands restrained, a bit of roughing up. Loved it. Great themed set,rather dark but that was understandable given the nature of the room. Clues were quite logical, all our party had a great time. A special mention to our host Holly who spoke with clarity and enthusiasm. Very highly recommended!!

Really enjoyed visiting The Great Escape Game. The team were very friendly. We completed the Underworld, and The Devils Playground escape rooms. Both of which were well themed, and had some awesome elements to them. The only reason I have taken off a star is for the extremely small and very awkward crawl space in Underworld, and also the fact we spent the first 7minutes on our knees trying to find torches in the almost pitch black, with multiple things made from metal around which we knocked our knees on quite a few times. I would still highly recommend booking because their experiences here are very fun, worth paying for and a great way to spend your time

Did the Abducted room in a group of two and had a really fun time. We found it quite difficult and the actors do get physical but I felt this just added to the fun. Our host Holly was very friendly and explained everything perfectly. I’m sure we’ll be back.

King Arthur's Secret was great fun! We had to ask for one clue from the helpful Sophie, but after that we were on our way! Made it just in time, not bad for a first timer! Would definitely recommend!

Submerged - challenging game but was logical and fun to play through, we escaped! Was a good laugh, would definitely go back to do another one. Sophie and Holly were both amazing, explained everything clearly and were great hosts. Couldn’t fault our experience!

Really good and enjoyable, Reece was really friendly and made the whole experience better because of his overall attitude during the whole thing. Only thing that would improve it would be if the padlocks had clearer locks to line the numbers up, there was a fair amount of time spent on padlocks where the combos were right but weren't lined up correctly and the angles made it hard to tell

Shout out to Ali for hosting and making us laugh. We did the hard-core version of the game abducted (very intense at the start) only recommendation would be to fix the maglock on the inner door. I remember when it worked and trapped me from the group when the gate would self close. Also when the group is about to escape have somebody enter the room to give chase for the extra effects. Overall great experience and can't wait for the next

Did the Royal Armouries escape room, having been to the original great escape games in sheffield, in the run down office building, its brilliant to see the games develop, and move across multiple locations.Our Game Master Holly was lovely, really welcoming and a great help along the way. The experience round the museum was good, heading out to explore, little hint before exploring the museum, actually read the handout you get, properly!

Really great challenging rooms with alot of creativity and thought put into them and their stories. We played the underworld room as a pair which was a perfect blend of lateral thinking and moving about. Sophie was a great gamemaster who looked after us the entire way through. Highly recommend for escape room beginners and veterans alike. Student discounts available which make them very accessible.

BEST ESCAPE ROOM EVER! We got ’abducted’ by Theo as our host - he was amazing. Very friendly and gave us a debrief about the escape room. We unfortunately didn’t manage to escape but will be back to tackle more rooms in the future. Very fun experience, thank you for a great time!

Played King Arthur's Secret for my other halves birthday and had a great time! Callum was very helpful and gave us clear instructions about their set up and games. The game itself was great with lots of puzzles of different types, some we took time to solve, others we over thought! Got out with minutes to spare, definitely will go back.

Such a brilliant team building experience, enjoyed every minute. Very hands on. Ali who works in the abduction room was fantastic! Made the scares and jumps so much more realistic and was a great support when we were panicking! Lots of good puzzles as well!

Played the Devil’s playground recently and it was great fun. Callum and Katie made the experience really great. I’m looking forward to returning to play abducted in the future! I think in the future something that might be beneficial (that was at no fault to the games masters, as this would be outside of their control) was the clueing system, that made things a bit more difficult, as only one member of the group could talk to a games master at a time, and then would have to relay the information to the group. Having time warnings might also be beneficial! Overall a really fun experience and the puzzles were not too hard but still challenging enough!

I went with my cousin and her 3 kids and we had a wonderful time doing Haunted! The kids (age range 11-14) absolutely loved it and we had so much fun! It was spooky but not too scary with some little scary details that the kids found fun. Huge thanks to our game master Sophie for making sure everything ran smoothly!

Kitty was amazing and underworld was really fun to play. I loved the whole vibe and the tombstones and coffins. Wasn’t as creepy as I thought but having a team mate that jumps super easily makes it. Kitty was friendly charming and such a fun laugh. To the point where my team was singing for hints (our choice 😂😂)

This escape room was amazing! I was so scared and I screamed A LOT! We did the 'abducted' room, and my god was it good! We had the personalised experience which made it that little bit extra, and included a drink at the end, which was well needed. Luke, you are a legend. Lots of love for this guy! We will definitely be back to try out the other rooms.

Such a great place! The loved the set up as soon as we arrived. Callum was very welcoming, polite and helped us get ready for the room. We did underground which was so good! Very hard and gets you thinking but we had just the right amount of clues to help us. Would definitely recommend and we’ll be back to try the devils playground! Thank you!

An amazing experience! Devils playground was great and would recommend to anyone wanting something a little spooky and tonnes of fun. A big thank you to Niamh who made our experience even better with their friendly and welcoming personality and making us all laugh. Also a side thank you to Luke who made us all jump. Had a great time playing King Arthur's Secret and managed to get out with a few seconds to spare. Hoping to have a bit more luck next time and make it out with minutes to spare. Hannah ran our game and was very helpful throughout!

I've done a number of escape rooms, and this one is very well run. The rooms are well themed and I enjoyed the abducted one a lot - the interaction and puzzle was excellent (although not for the faint-hearted!). This is a large venue with a number of rooms, including a head to head team challenge one, so there is a good range. The bar is very good, with good drinks and reasonable food (the pizza wasn't amazing, but good enough, especially as it was free with the group game). Would definitely recommend and look forward to coming back to do the rooms I haven't tried.

So much fun. Got a bit stuck with clues but overall great experience loved it. Really worth the money & wonderful staff. Make sure your feeling okay, brief you on what to do if you feel stressed etc will be going again.

Played the “Haunted” room; escaped with 5 minutes to spare. Very well put together puzzles and premise. Friendly staff and decent waiting area for a pre-game beer and Mars bar… highly recommended. (Sorry we tried to dismantle the bed)

Such a fun hour getting out of the submarine, Luke was awesome at letting us know the deal and helped push us only when needed ...and we needed it 😅 but we escaped great fun definitely coming back for the horror room next.

The actual game it's self was quite good. But I was very underwhelmed with the whole thing. Very small bar area, I paid for the " full immersive" experience which in my opinion was rubbish! The website is very mis-leading, states you can play Mario cart and arcade games all included and then you get 2 snacks and 2 drinks or something... I paid £30 per person for this and then I also paid extra for more drinks and snacks, they had ran out of crisps, leaving on snickers and Mars bars as "snacks" and then when I mentioned Mario cart, ect , they said that it was Sheffield only... but didn't state this on the website. Also the arcade machine was not free. You have to put your own money in it to play it, when I arrived and I mentioned we had bought drinks and snacks, they didn't have a clue and had to check the computer... for £70 we got 1 game room, 2 snickers, 2 Mars bars and 2 drinks each. I wouldnt pay more than £40 for the lot. Callum and the guy with glasses and brown her were great hosts though, it's not their fault the website is so mis-leading. Very disappointed.

This by far the best escape room venue in Leeds. Played in quite a lot of other venues around the Leeds area and the games here are all my favourites. The puzzles are sometime challenging buy always fair, the special effects and props are all in theme and every single games master we've met is friendly, knowledgeable and you get the sense that they love their job.

Went for a group birthday and it was really fun! The theme and puzzles in Devils playground were amazing & the clues from Sophie & Oscar were also really good without giving the game away. Would 100% come again especially with the discount code you get at the end!

We played with 4 people and we did better than expected! We did the Great King Arthur game and it was incredible! Sophie was amazing at describing the game and helping us with clues but not being too obvious when we didn’t want to much help. She was friendly and created a nice environment before we started. We completed the game with only 17 minutes left which we didn’t expect to do so well. Amazing 10/10 would recommend!

Came to The Escape game In Leeds for a birthday party, we were a group of 5 and did the submerged escape room. All 5 of us really enjoyed it and we managed to complete it with 3 minutes to spare. The game was explained really well and Reece, was friendly and professional throughout. I would recommend this experience and will definitely be coming back to try some of the other rooms!!
