There
is
invariably
a
common
dilemma
for
the
Star
hotels
in
India.
How
to
make
the
food
Foreigner
friendly
and
at
the
same
time
locals
would
also
visit.
Not
too
spicy
but
tasty!
Of
course
a
difficult
situation.
Royal
Indianaa
Restaurant,
in
the
Five
Star
Hotel
Accord
located
at
Gopathi
Narayana
Swamy
Road,
Chennai
successfully
overcomes
this
challenge
and
presents
a
delicious
buffet
to
the
connoisseur
of
food.
Like
every
Star
hotel
menu
it
has
good
Soup,
Starters,
main
dish
with
local
South
Indian
varieties
like
rice,
Sambhar,
rasam,
Vattha
kuzhambu,
North
Indian
bread
varieties
like
Naan,
Roti,
parothas,
with
number
of
mouthwatering
side
dishes,
continental
items,
good
amount
of
desserts
including
sweets,
cakes,
kheers
that
bring
cheers,
Dosa,
Vada
etc
ending
with
three
ice-cream
varieties.
As
we
went
on
a
day
which
was
celebrated
as
World
Idli
day,
we
had
different
varieties
of
idlies
like,
ragi
idly,
fried
idli,
carrot
idli
to
name
a
few,
with
traditional
idlies
and
matching
chutneys,
sambhar,
chilli-dal
powder
etc.
It
was
a
sumptuous
feast
in
an
excellent
ambience,
with
good
servings
at
table
and
counters.
The
staff
were
friendly,
courteous
and
helpful.
The
dining
hall
is
sufficiently
large
and
as
expected
seats,
table
lay
out
and
approach
to
counters
were
very
good.
Walls
are
nicely
decorated
with
paintings
and
sculptures.
The
buffet
was
nominally
priced,
less
than
Rs.1000/-.
It's
pure
vegetarian
too!
Valet
car
parking
is
available
and
the
restaurant
accepts
cards.
Recommended
for
enjoyable
dining!
