The modern and clean interior set the stage for a delightful dining experience. The owners went above and beyond, accommodating our limited Spanish skills with a friendly and helpful demeanor. We felt welcomed from the moment we walked in. The empanadas were a highlight—bursting with delicious meat and cheese. The variety offered allowed us to explore different flavors, making it a perfect stop for both snacks and full meals while exploring Santiago. Accepting card payments was a convenience for us as tourists without local currency. El Puerto Sabores truly combines great food, warm hospitality, and convenience. A must-visit in Santiago! 🇨🇱🍽️

The owner was very welcoming and friendly. He even used Google Translate to help us understand the special options on the menu. The food was freshly cooked to order. The cachapa con plátano frito was deliciously sweet. The empanada mechada y queso llanero (white Venezuelan cheese) was savory and delicious. Both portions were generous.

Lovely hosts. Delicious empanada. We weren’t game to try the banana and cheese, but loved the cheese and beans, as well as the meat options. They even went out of their way to google translate our conversations.

Very kind people who were so helpful to us with our minimal Spanish. The cachapa clásica con mechada was spectacular. The empanadas were huge, thin dough and fried. We got three empanadas - queso llanero con plátano, mechada, and mestiza. We also had a maracuya drink and french fries. Everything was clearly made to order. Delish and the folks there were so nice. About $30,000 with service charge.

Odair the owner and his wife are very frindly. Las enpanadas specially chicken with Cheese are spectular. The price for 2 more gás water is approx. 6.000 pesos and will be enough for a dinner. Besides, it's a cheap option tô avoid expensives dinners or lunch for Brazilians or/and Any other people
