The restaurant has a beautiful view. Unfortunately, the male server with short hair and glasses made things super awkward. Ticket name for server is Luz Urriola. I clearly ordered a veggie burger for my bf ( who does not eat meat) so I’m positive I said veggie. The rest of my party all heard veggie. Except the server. He brought out a regular meat patty burger. It would have been okay, everyone makes mistakes. He could have just apologized and switched the order. No biggy. But instead, he got upset and began to blame us for “not ordering the right way”. He stated that we did not say veggie burger and then proceeded to give us an English and pronunciation lesson. He said that next time we need to say “VEGGGIIIEEEE” burger. My bf and the rest of the table all let him know that I clearly said veggie burger. Totally weirded us out and ruined the mood of our lunch experience. I’m sorry he misheard but why make things worse by scolding the client that traveled from so far away to come dine here? Extremely unprofessional!!! : ( Especially when it was your own fault. Super rude. Furthermore, the mis- order was taken back (but not without a fight) and a quickly cooked, uncooked veggie burger came out. The patty was awful… it was a paste patty 🤢 Pity because the view was nice at least.

A really nice place. We went there for lunch and then coffee and cake after walking around for a bit. Beautifully situated, nicely maintained and friendly personnel. Nothing bad to say BUT the cakes in the coffee downstairs by the reception are served with single use plates and cutlery. From a place like this I would expect as much style and sustainability-consciousness to use metal cutlery and porcelain dishes. So only 4**** with an easy task to make it 5***** 😉

We stayed on a last minute offer which was very good value. Rooms were lovely and the grounds gorgeous. The waterfall walk wasn't ideal for kids with slippery bits and narrow parts next to big drops but we enjoyed the others. Breakfast was good but small portions, ditto lunch. Reception also very helpful. The stand out was the coffee tour with Jose which was phenomenal. I learnt so much about coffee and the plants on the estate and it ended with a tasting and delicious cake. Fabulous English too, presumably thanks in no small part to his Liverpudlian wife.

Amazing coffee!! We did not stay at the hotel but we stopped by the Cafe twice and this place is a must see. Some of the best coffee I've ever had. The manager was there the 2nd time and we had a lovely conversation. Location is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The smell was intoxicating. Baked goods delicious. I wish I could go back right now!! We brought coffee back to the states with us. This will be a must go to on any return trips to Boquete for sure. Do yourself a favor and make a trip here! You won't be disappointed.

An amazing place to spend a day. There's a very good restaurant with gourmet cuisine and a couple of hikes among the coffee plantations with incredible, scenic views. A lot of colorful flowers that attract a variety of birds, I saw plenty of hummingbirds right next to me.

We did not stay in hotel, just went for the coffee tour. It was amazing. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable of the coffee, birds and plants and was so nice. The whole tour from seeing the beautiful coffee trees, the drying and processing area and the coffee tasting was fantastic. Highly recommend it. Beautiful Finca. Next time we will plan to stay at the hotel.

The location is breathtaking and there is also a nice little hike you can do within the property. We also did a birdwatching tour which was very nice. Only thing I did not like was that we could not do a coffee tasting unless by doing a coffee tour. Also the bar in the property did not offer any of their famous geisha coffee

We did not stay here at the hotel, but we did come for the bird watching tour. And it was absolutely amazing. We saw so many beautiful birds, including 3 resplendent Quetzals! Our guide, Cesar, was excellent: Providing information on the birds, plants, coffee, and the estate itself. We would absolutely recommend everyone come to see this beautiful estate, the birds, the views, and enjoy the Vulcan Baru' national park!

We stayed for 10 days beginning of August 2023. The rooms are decent sized and rustic, after all it is the old bunkhouse. There is a patio with 2 chairs, side table and a hammock for each room. Breakfast is included and it is well worth it. Great views from the patio. It is a working coffee farm, the oldest in Boquete. They have Birdwatching tours and Coffee tours that include a tasting, just like a wine tasting. There is a hiking trail that goes up the mountain all the way past the ridge to a national park. It was the most relaxing, refreshing and educational vacation we had in years. Sarah (Manager / Chef), George, Roosevelt and the rest of the staff at the restaurant prepared incredible food and treated us like very special guests. Our experiences in the dining room were really the cherry on top.

Nice hotel with cabins and gardens. We went to have coffee at the coffee shop, which was very good. There is also a restaurant.

Great get a way in to the mountains! We stayed for 2 nights and wish we would have stayed for more. It’s a beautiful property. The breakfast was always delicious. My husband and I sat on the balcony of the restaurant and our kiddos were able to play and run around in the little outside valley while we waited for our food. We had top notch service from the breakfast staff as well as the dinner staff. We also went on the coffee tour which I highly recommend you do. Cesar was knowledgeable and great with the kids. We went around the property where he explained everything about the coffee, tried some fruit from fruit trees, did a coffee tasting, and ended with a cup of coffee (hot chocolate for the kids), and a dessert. Bring a light jacket because it gets chilly!! Lovely place. Great for a family but also wonderful for an adult getaway.

Coffee tour one of the best, guide Mr. Jose knew beyond coffee about plants and history it was very interesting but it started about 5-10 minutes delayed and lasted about 2:15 mins, I was advised of 1:30 to 1:45; nevertheless, it worth every minute very good tour. Furthermore food and staff were really good, restaurant terrace is chilly and sometimes cold so bring a jacket or something to cover up when needed. We took the full hiking self guided tour inside la Finca as it is dry season in Panama waterfall was almost in-existing, didnt worth the walk in my opinion but the rest of the hike did worth. Finally, rooms were ok value-price was not good, mainly due to maintenance issues shower had mold and soap holder was loose also missed some amenities such as water kettle, mini bar and tea cups, I asked them by phone evening before but checked out and never got it.

I arrived for my 43 anniversary and my room was decked out with flower petals and my wine was chilled which made me happy, now for the wow effect this GEM is hidden 10 mins from Boquete, rooms are great Jacuzzi worked fine bathroom was humongous, with the help of Haydee who was at my every need for me to have a perfect vacation and Paula who was very instrumental by going above and beyond in making stay very welcoming beautiful, I will recommend anyone who wants to do a get away from the hustle and bustle of big city life or wants to take a laid back to retreat you won't regret. visit Finca Lerida

We had a fantastic two night stay. The coffee tour is a must do and was super informative. Even having toured plantations in other countries, I learned a lot and the tasting was great. The food at the restaurant was delicious and all of the staff went above and beyond to assist. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. Though they don’t have a heating source, the staff will light a fire if you ask for help.

I only came for lunch (I was not an overnight guest). For lunch I got the pasta with chicken, a natural process pour over coffee and the three ice creams. The coffee was the highlight. It was very impressive and cool that the beans were grown on site. Interestingly it came in a wine glass which was a new experience for me it did help bring out the aroma of the coffee. The pasta was good but nothing special (it was the cheapest thing on the menu and I was not expecting more). The ice cream was interesting and I quite liked it. To top it off the staff were friendly and the view was great.

The Coffee was great and they are at a perfect elevation for Geisha. The service on the other hand was ok. They only had one kid, which was a little arrogant. There might be the chance that he was overworked as the place was full and only one person, but still the service was not the best. So in my opinion, great coffee, they need to work on the service and the joy of working.

We did not stay at the hotel but the restaurant and the coffee plantation tour are a must! The coffee is incredible… you must enjoy with a slice of their fresh cake. It is out of this world. And if you do the coffee plantation tour ($35USD), it ends with a free coffee and slice of cake.

I did not stay here but would have liked to. I visited for the coffee and desserts. The coffee was the best I have EVER tasted. I brought home 3 bags and will buy more the next time I visit.

The grounds were beautiful and the guys working with the coffee were really friendly and explained some of the process to us. One issue was that I ordered an iced latte but they had no ice so I got a hot one which was good too.

Need to set proper expectation for room and area. Since this is 6,000 FT elevation weather can be extremely wet and cool. Rooms has everything you need but no source of heating or AC. Service and staff great, food is great, breakfast/ lunch, all staff are very helpful. Dinner not so good and very expenses. $35 for flank steak not a value for price. Shrimp $25 for 5 🍤. Really enjoyed hiking and visit to location. Coffee plants extremely interesting be sure to take tour. A must see if you're in the area.

Only visited the coffee shop and made a reservation for the tour the next morning. But personnel, facilities and of course coffee were first-rate. Beautifully tended property.

Horrible place. They overbooked and let us leave without offering help or a good solution, in the rain. We waited for hours in the cold. I do not recommend.
