We stopped by and ordered the Plato del Dia one of the best in the area. The Anchor has a different plato del Dia everyday. Today severed at lunch time chicken creole with rice with beans two chicken legs a small salad. It was a generous portion and two could eat this dish easily.

The Anchor has fantastic breakfasts, economical n yummy lunches n a super selection of dinners ... Great fresh hot coffee any time, cold beer, steps from the beach ... Dinner specials Monday thru Sunday, owner knows how to please the pocket book as well as gourmet tastes -- kudos !

We are spending two weeks in Costambar and are trying every place that serves food. This is one place we find ourselves coming back to more often than not. For Saturday breakfast the bagels made right in their kitchen. For lunch the wonderful clubhouse with a twist .... a to die for chicken salad layer. For dinner the made in house from scratch cordon bleu and schnitzel with a beautiful mushroom sauce. Good wine and cold beer. Clean washroom. On a corner to watch the world go by. Alexis is amazing. Many languages spoken here. You should try it!

Great service and tasty, consistent food can always be found at the Anchor Restaurant in Costambar. I had the omelette with bacon, cheese and onions with sides of bacon and papas salteado. Yummy!
