A tranquil stunning garden is the biggest highlight for this restaurant. The food is also delicious, and clearly very good quality. However the price is quite high for the Dominican. But the wonderful fenced in garden, with its large variety of labelled trees and bushes, to the koi pond the atmosphere trumps anything I have seen in the Dominican at all.

The manager, who I think, is also the chef, because he was wearing a white chef's uniform, did not want to let me in the restaurant. I’m a black Canadian, and I was surprised he told me he had no available seats when most of the tables were neither occupied nor reserved. I went there with my wife, who is a Dominican, and lives in Puerto Plata. When he heard me speaking English he realized I was not Dominican, and all the sudden, he had available seats for us. I wanted to leave and spend my money at a restaurant run by the locals, across the street, but my wife wanted to try the food there... It was an uncomfortable and unpleasant experience... I was ashamed with that kind of treatment. The restaurant is also quite expensive, I paid the equivalent of 200 Canadian dollars for the meal without drinks.

Hidden gem in the the Dominican Republic! This place was amazing. The food was authentic and delicious. Your sitting in the middle of the city but would never know it with such serine scenery. Dont miss it and be sure to visit the art gallery!

So amazing. The lava cake and creme brulee is out of this world. Great variety and romantic setting. Highly recommend.

This was a wonderful stop on our tour. We had a delicious lunch and a pleasant walk around the gardens.

Perhaps the best of all in terms of gourmet food in Puerto Plata, it is not cheap, expect to pay higher prices than most others.

Everything was fabulous- the wait staff, the ambiance, the food, the art work, the music. Definitely the best meal we've had in the DR, and the price was ridiculously reasonable.

A great hideaway in the hills o Dominican Republic. The restaurant is nestled in amongst local artist's work and botanical garden. The restrooms were spotless.
