Took my dad for his birthday and we loved everything about this paradise. Food, service and atmosphere was spectacular. The views are amazing. Little farm animals and playground are a great way to keep the kids entertained.

If you want to see Cher magnificent. La Catalina has it all. Awesome menu with everything that you would want great bar and friendly staff. Just to go in the grounds is an amazing experience The view is breathtaking. Make sure you go during the day and this is awesome place for a date. If you take the kids the playground is perfect Go and see the antique cars and all the wildlife that they have on the ground. You will not be disappointed

Excellent service and the food simply delicious. The view is simply amazing and the ambiance just too good. We ordered the ribs and two types of risotto. The paella for two was loaded with seafood. A must if you come to Puerto Plata.

Sunning, a must see, Absolutely gorgeous, whoever owns this place cares a lot, every detail has been taken care of, it is immaculate, the view of the mountain and the ocean is breathtaking, the staff was wonderful, truly A+

You go to this place with high expectations, you know because of the reviews. The view is out of the world, the place is luxurious, the service is 1A, but the most important thing, THE FOOD is lacking big time. You pay for a place with good service and photo ops, that’s it. DO NOT GO THERE EXPECTING GOOD FOOD BECAUSE IT IS NOT HAPPENING. Sell the animals to a zoo and hire a good chef.

Very lovely upscale restaurant. Food was a bit salty (believe it's a common thing in DR) but great. There's an on-site small zoo and a playground. And lots of places to take pictures. They also have a separate VIP section. The only negative about this place is that it's a bit out of the way for tourists. The trip is worth it though. I went at night so I didn't get pictures of the zoo.

This place is amazing. The views, the decor make up everything. The food was good, but the location in general was a dream. There was also a kids area, and misc seating arrangements and swings in wood. The carving details are amazing. The amount of trees and flowers is amazing. There are animals in large cages, which is the only part that was a drawback for me. They are cute, but the birds cannot fly and the monkeys seemed upset, I assume from their small enclosures. They kept throwing around their metal plates hard. Personally, I would have other animals not in cages. They did have a bunny and a few peacoks? (I think that is what they were) roaming around freely. Aside from this, as I said, a dream location.

Astonishing view, amazing food, staff is really friendly. The mood is incredible excellent place to visit with the family.

Come in when the restaurant was open and sat outside where you can see the mountains and the sea. The meal tasted very fresh and delicious will definitely go back once they open to try different plates.

Excellent atmosphere but, sat down waiter gave the menu and never came back. Expect to spend 2+ hours here to get your order taken than 2+ for the food to arrive.

The scenery, ambience and service is outstanding (3 stars). This place is in Puerto Plata Dominican Republic 🇩🇴, one of the most visited cities my tourist from around the world and they do not serve BEANS and RICE! They have chicken and french fries but no beans and rice, -2 stars.
