This is the best cafe in the whole Dominican Republic for us. The dishes are very tasty, especially the Sancocho. The portions are so large that you will need to call a mototaxi to get to the hotel. In addition, everything is so colorful and very cute to the eye. The waiters are very attentive to each client. Thank you for being here.

Great little place right in the centre of Cabarete. Owned by a very lovely French couple, Fabrizio and Christine. Nice staff. Delicious food. You can order takeout and deliveries.

Love this little place! A little gem in Caberete. Friendly folks and very near to our lodging. We came twice during our stay. Bacon and Egg Sandwich (I love bacon in DR, it's not as salty) Mangu with Smoked Pork Chop (chop was perfect) Fish Sandwich (really good fish sandwich) English Breakfast (beans were Dominican style so it was weird combo with the Breakfast but the hubby liked it).

I saw a review with picture of fried eggs and couldn’t wait for a English breakfast with a slab of bacon. Leonela, our waitress, was so sweet assured me my bacon would be burned and crispy. Cute comfortable place with lots of open air. From the perfectly cooked over easy fried eggs and and bacon just like I like. Grilled bread, fried cheese. I’m in heaven. Highly recommend!!

At Friend's cafe I loved the seating area near the bookshelves full of books. Food and drinks were good. Nice place to chill.

The food was great. The prices were very good. Christopher customer service was great. I will go back my next trip.

Very nice English breakfast, the service was fast and friendly and the owner took the time to say hello, the atmosphere is colourful, outdoor and joyful, for sure we’ll come back, hope you like it as well.

Brilliant staff, good variation of pizza’s and other food. I highly recommend if you want to eat at low cost and still enjoy a food.

Friends best food and A meeting place Friends is not only one of the oldest and most popular restaurant and Bakery but also a meeting place, a library and your go to internet site. You will see not only the snowbirds (Winter residents) from all over the world, but a lot of locals eating here. It is french Restaurant owned by a wonderful couple Fabrice and Christine , who are your hosts, friends and helpers. They will help you find anything you want in Cabarete. Friends is open for breakfast, lunch and now for Dinner. They used to close at 5pm but because of popular demand now they are also open for Dinner. Prices are very reasonable, about US$30-35 for 2 with 1 drink each. No 18% Beach Tax or 10% tip is added to your Bill. Obviously they have everything French but they also have local food like Mangu, Best Hamburgers in town, great fish dishes. they serve the best beef filet in black pepper sauce or mushroom Sauce. you can sit and sip wine and socialize or surf the net. Their coffee selection is extensive. Best of all you can get best tasting Mamajuana in the area after your meal. We have tried Mangu , Double cheese burger $10-12. Fish in Saffron sauce $14, griller Lobster tails for $25. Beef fillet $17 and most other items on their menu.. We have loved and enjoyed every meal we ate.
