CHRIS & Mady's was an amazing pick. The service was wonderful and the food was delicious. My husband and I enjoyed everything we ordered and had no complaints about everything. The owners are kind and they'll do everything you asked for. The restaurant was right in the beach and the sight was beautiful. There was nice music being played that set a calm and relaxing mood. The bar drinks are phenomenal. I gave this restaurant 5 stars, and if I could, I’d give it more.

I just had the best fish and chips! Honestly, everything is fresh, well seasoned and made with care. I wish I found this place much earlier. If you’re around you should stop by! Staff is lovely and very helpful. Best food experience I had so far.

This is a very cosy long time family owned restaurant. Amazing location in front of the ocean. Very friendly and welcoming staff. We felt there at home and enjoyed uniquely spiced fish. We are giving it 5 stars because of location and the lovely service.

Good local food. The place could use little facelift for example chairs place mats. The service was good and the owner so nice, very informative about local life.

A great place to hang out, eat, and drink in Playa Cofresi. Enjoyed our stay, loved that we were treated more like family than tourists. The food was great, and prices very reasonable. Cannot wait to visit again!!

We visited 3 times, every time the service was great and the meals fantastic. We got the best Mohitos we have ever had here. The restaurant owner also owns the apartments next door and rents them to the public (no "membership" required like several of the local resorts). I definitely recommend this family owned restaurant.

Great food and great service at a very affordable price!

I'm so glad that I had the chance to have dinner at Chris and Mady's restaurant. The fish is a must-have. Cocktails excellent atmosphere relaxing.

Stopped in to just look at the menu. Ended up grabbing a bite to eat with some drinks. The Breakfast sandwich I had was delicious to say to the very least.The staff is awesome, food was great and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Talked with the cook and bartender and they were friendly and very informative of the area. Wouldn't hesitate to go there again. Definitely a place to check out!

We had dinner there and the restaurant was practically empty. It still took over an hour for the food to be served but it was great. Their homemade spicy sauce as they told us was real spicy and we didn't indulge. It is right on the beach so it is very windy there which was not too comfortable. Like many places in Puerto Plata, they do not take cash and we were only told at the end of our meal so my partner had to leave me there and go find an ATM to withdraw some cash.

Great steak at a great price. Friendly service and my kids said the burger was delicious too.
