I've eaten here 2x and really enjoyed it. Canadian owned and frequented. The owner and his wife are there and friendly and will sit down and talk to you. We enjoyed their food. They have things like bingo nights and it seems a nice part of a nice community.

The food was ok waitress argued with my buddy about having a single bill presented to him he had clearly asked for two bills before we ordered and she even asked the names for each bill. Her attitude was not pleasant

We only came in for drinks but the food menu did look decent. We all had the frozen drinks like the banana mama and they really hit the spot in the heat. They also have karaoke night which normally I would avoid at all costs but if Mick from the cigar shop shows, he's a knockout. Also a great people watching perch with wifi and some of the better bathrooms in Sosua.

Bartenders were lovely. It was pretty quite for a Saturday night but the bartenders told me June is actually the offseason and that it attracts more crowds around October timeframe. I really like the food special and they had IPA on tap.

Owner is Canadian and goes out of her way to accommodate. Located right in the heart of Sosua. Themed events like bingo and darts, board games etc. Food was well prepared & well priced, beer was ice cold and staff very friendly. Watched sports on one of the many TV monitors. Located in the heart of Sosua. Many locals asking to sell you various goods if you're at a table on the sidewalk. This happens pretty much everywhere in Dominican Republic so take it as it is. A must try if you're in Sosua! We were lucky to be there for the American Thanksgiving and the turkey with all the fixings was outstanding.

Just came for the house jolly Roger beer as I was sick of the local brew. At almost 250 pesos for a 12 ounce that was high but a welcome change of pace. If cheaper I would have tried the other options. They should offer a tasting flight. Server was professional and friendly and the decor was kitschy but not too over the top.

Very good atmosphere and cold beers. They have nightly games and activities for the guests too.

This is a pretty popular place around here expats - They have a decent variety of beer, service is good, food is ok . Their sandwiches are not that great but their wings make up for it. (They were better than other places, but not as good as any place in the US ) - not sure if I’ll come Back - I’ll give other restaurants a try first

Went to see live entertainment and have dinner at the same time. We loved the show. It was a hypnosis show with patrons participating at the show. Attentive service and friendly staff. Once suggestion to make, increase portion size a little bit. We have ordered fish fingers and french fries. We enjoyed it very much. Just wish it would a little bit more Definitely be back . Recommend

Great spot.Mmmmm Great Chicken Wings and Brrrr cold beer. Patti and Kelly are great hosts and operate a great Canadian bar/restaurant in beautiful Sosua Dominican Republic.. Visit them regularly at least twice a year while on Vacation..

Good food, although dangerous for children, or anyone with sensitivity to smoke. Sadly no place for non smokers here, inside or outside. Constant barrage of smoke from other patrons. They take visa, that is a plus.

Fish and chips were really good. Chicken wings were also really good. Tasted like many Canadian bars. Perhaps some twist on wing flavors to add a Dominican twist? Good food tho. They were playing bingo on Tuesday

if you don't see the owners, don't bother going in. without their oversight you'll get poor quality and poor service. i was served a contaminated draft beer today and after i complained i received horrible service with only 3 customers in the bar, one of which was with me and when he complained about the lack of service the waitress yelled at him.

Loved the place til today after 2 years of going in i had both waitresses ignoring myself and 2 other customers and had to flag them down and get thier attention from texting..I asked a simple question about my bill and had the reciept in my face and telling me we dont need your service here!! Customers like you not wanted here.. So i went to Matteous Bar for some drinks and dropped $225.00 there and had some amazing Tacos and Brisket with my buddies we dropped another $107.00 there.. If you want wings dont go here over priced and not even close to Crazy Ranch 1100p about $20.00 for 50 wings and the service is with a smile unlike this place!!! Unlimited Ice Tea Ill never go back to a place where im ignored and beg to get service and im trying to give them $$$...Both waitresses worked 1st shift if owners want to know who they are.. Then when at Fat Jessies my buddy was like why are these girls across the street looking at you with a dirty look so i filled him in .. I did want my other buddies to try the Peanut Thai wings but tomorrow we are off to Crazy Ranch.. So breakfast is best at the New Cafe Restaurant its just before Cheers who has a banging Pizza or go to Mattaous for breakfast also the guy speaks english and doesnt wear his ego on his sleeve..For Lunch check out Fat Jessie amazing food and priced better than Jolly Rodgers $5 meals and you can choose your own tunes and the sexiest ladies in Sosua work there..Dinner Do Crazy Ranch but to be local head to Waterfront for an amazing menu and on the beach..Awesome fajitas ..People my fellow Americans and Canadians there are so many better places to go and eat than this place..Flips Flops also has amazing food burgers and wings better than this place and larger wings..Margots has amazing burgers and right there next to it is the Que Lo Que Uptown wow these ladies are unreal with thier dishes a must muc=st go and let me tell you something this lady loves Canadians and isnt an American hater like these 2 Dominicans i ran into today..3 Americans trying to spend cash and they employ haters !!

Great Canadian Owners on the spot...excellent food, beer on tap and only a few in town have it including dark beer. Service was impeccable and the bar is extremely clean and well maintain.

Visiting from the US and loved this place! The BBQ wings were awesome and the sub sandwiches were great also! Good service, fun atmosphere, and great Friday night live music! Will be coming back and recommending.

It was a busy night on Saturday evening with the dart tournament. Lots of friendly patrons and the staff as well. I ordered and enjoyed the pork filet with scalloped potatoes. Overall a delightful time.

One of my favorite restaurants in Sosua with consistently good specials and excellent draft beer. They take credit cards.

My go to bar. Canadian Bar. Of course there people from everywhere. Love the pirate bar theme also. They have 6 beers on tap and you can get a flight to try them. Good place to sit and people watch right at the front.

Decent pub style food in a foreign setting. Prices aren't outrageous and it's a good location to people watch. My only small quibble is smoking is allowed everywhere, which I find gross. It would be nice if there was a no smoking area. Will go again regardless.

I'm a Brit. Jolly Roger reminds me of the popular pub grub restaurants. It's a place to meet many ex pats who go there for food, coffee or drinks. You can also play on the table and on Friday nights listen to live music as there are many talented musicians in the area. My Caribbean penguins who were creating a booklet called Sosua Art World were surprised by the character on the door as they looked for the many paintings on Sosua walls.

😐 If you’re looking for working girl the bars where to be but if you’re looking for a nice place to take the girlfriend they may think she’s a working girl. The foods decent the baña split is great but the drinks are overpriced. Overall a nice place but not if your taking your girlfriend

👍👍 Plan B is a nice surprise in Sosúa. I first visited this restaurant 4 years ago. It was under different ownership and management then. The food was good but the service was not so great back then. Doug, the new owner/manager has made some good improvements to the restaurant. The menu has better...

👍 I dj'd there with my friends and the place was lively. Folks were dancing and drinking. The drinks are well made the beers are cold. The service is friendly and quick. Didn't eat there. I didn't ask if they had food. At night it's more like a club. The bouncer there was a cool dude.
