This is Flip Flop's place. I been to DR many times but never to Sosua. I saw his videos on YouTube and said to my girl we have to go there. I wasn't disappointed! The wings were some of the best I've ever had! Piping hot with sauce on the side and they were perfect! The fries were also some of the best I've ever had! Not. Soggy or nast or anything like that. The beer though, the beer was not cold. That was my only gripe; maybe it was because we were there early, i don't know. Other than that, everything was awesome! Those girls really do say, "Welcome to Flip Flop's" to everyone passing through. I thought that was a nice touch. That hot sauce they use for the wings is on point!!! Next time we go we'll try the tacos and shrimp.

We went here because my brother in law wanted to try this place. He saw it on YouTube. The only reason why I'm giving this place 3 stars is for the service. The people who work there were really cool and attentive. The other reason is because the wings were cooked well. Other than that I can't say we really enjoyed it much. We got 12 wings and fries, fried shrimp with fries and a fried rice. The wings and fries were passable. My shrimp were pathetic. ( see photo attached) They were probably from a frozen bag, which is insane being that this place is located on a Caribbean island near the beach!!! C'mon, you can do better than this. My sister didn't care for her fried rice. She said the soy sauce was too much and overpowering the whole thing. It was also mostly broccoli throughout the whole thing. For me, it's a one and done. Sorry- wanted to like it better and had high hopes, but it just missed the mark.

I'm here for my birthday. They sung and gave me a gift. It was really surprising and I was grateful. The fried fish was amazing, so was the staff and the owner. My limeade was made fresh right in front of me. Really great

I can only speak on my experience but the staff here need training the manager needs to talk to them and teach them how to be respectful. I am a tourist and I still was learning the Dominican pesos and I gave the waitress 200 instead of a 1000(the color looks the same) simple mistake but the waitress threw the money back at me I of course gave her the 1000 but I told her not to throw it at me but she got even angrier so I chose to be the bigger person and let it slide. This is highly disrespectful the manager or whoever needs to talk to them about this. Also the food here gave me diarrhea I ordered a turkey burger and was pooping all day. Also the waitresses annoyingly yell out "welcome to flip flop" to every single person walking in so when you dine there you are constantly annoyed by the yelling of this. Please get this place in order it has potential but needs higher management to intervene. I recommend you train your staff.

Warm, friendly bi-lingual staff. We dine here regularly. Great menu options with signatures like famous wings or chicken and waffles. Coldest beers found anywhere. Bar area for sports viewing as well as a more quiet dinning section for families. Clean bathrooms just up their walkway. Excellent location right at the beach entrance, casino side. Easy to find. They are cash only but there is a Popular atm steps away. Thanksgiving and Christmas they feature all the traditional American foods we miss from our home country. No where else compares to the southern style soul food for holidays here. I attended an atv excursion hosted by the resturant as part of their Superbowl weekend events recently. Unforgettable experience from beginning to end. This place is top notch!

"THE" best wings in Cabarete or Sosua, period! The food is phenomenal, the wait staff is very attentive & they had great personality. In the pic are our wings, chicken nachos & Cuba Libre. Monday is all day happy hour, HH on any other day is 2-5 with $65 peso ($1.15 US) Cuba/Santa Libres as well as a few other drinks to order. We have never had a bad meal or a bad experience here. We love this place and drive all the way from Cabaret to come here. Prices $

Flip Flops is always a great time. The staff is great and extremely attentive. SO MANY good items to eat in the menu. It becomes hard to choose at times. The owner (Greg) has done a wonderful job in fostering a great atmosphere along with great service and great food. Definitely a mainstay in my visits to Sosua!

I first visited the Flip Flop Sports Bar in September, 2018. The place was just starting out then and it was one of the newest restaurants in Sosúa. In my opinion, Flip Flop is becoming an institution in Sosúa. It is an easy to find, Iconic spot where a lot of tourist and expats go to meetup, have a drink, talk, watch sports and swap stories. Flip Flop offers private catering, boat cruises and other special events. Greg, one of the owners is the driving force behind the Paradise Lyfe travel movement. I come here for get my fix of bar/pub food and drinks in a friendly relaxed atmosphere. My menu favorites are the chicken wings with fries with a choice of sauces. My favorite sauces are the General Tso and Buffalo Hot wing style. I am also like the Nachos Supreme. At Flip Flop the beers are ice cold and cocktails are definitely great. I say Flip Flop is a must stop while you are in Sosúa.

Flip Flop has some of the friendliest staff I have ever seen in a restaurant. Greg (Mr.Flip Flop) has created a great relaxing atmosphere. The open floor allows you to sit, eat, and still be able to appreciate the locals and tourist walking by. The food is great, pricing is more than reasonable, and the selection is varied enough to give you good choices without overwhelming you. I like wings hot and tasty and Flip Flop did not disappoint. This place lives up to their advertisements of having the coldest beers in town and the best wings. I will definitely make this my first stop when I return to the Dominican Republic.

I walked by here a few times after leaving sosua beach and did not realize it was a restaurant. I came here for breakfast and the food was sooo savory. Wish we came here for lunch too.

Just average. Ordered tacos with corn tortillas and was served flour. When I mentioned this to them they told me they were out of corn—and I would have ordered something different if I had known.

All staff so friendly & willing to help. Right before you walk down to Sosua Beach- amazing location. Excellent & many food choices. Very reasonably priced. You will leave remembering “Welcome To Flip Flop”!

I have been to Flip Flop Sports Bar a number of times...I Highly Recommend Flip Flop Bar to everyone if You are any time in Sosua in Dominican Republic...the prices are reasonable...cold beer ...excellent food and numerous TVs ...a typical sports bar...BUT it is in the middle of Sosua and just a 5 minute walk to Sosua Beach...which has roughly 250 vendors

Good food and drinks with a sports bar atmosphere , the breakfast menu is awesome , and they do take-out , delivery and dine in.

Flip Flops sports bar has the best food, customer service and staff in all of Sosua. Family, friends, visitors or locals all come to this restaurant. The menu is quite big and it you don’t see what you want, just ask. You’ll thank me later.

My girl wanted Mexican food, we found this place had good reviews, and no regrets. Food was delicious, service was quick, fans did a great job of cooling the place in the hot weather. Great experience.

I ate there for the first time last week. Food was great cooked to perfection. I had the fried rice with chicken. I was never a true wing person. However, I was offered a sample of the fiesta wing and I must say it was delicious and meaty not just one bite and bone. This sample has made me now a wing man. I definitely would recommend the wings here as well as other food. The service which is the foothold of any business was excellent. I look forward to eating more meals at flip flops.

Flip flops is right down by the beach is very convenient to get to in and out they have a front and back that you can get in and. The food is pretty good the drinks are pretty good and the waitresses are funny 😂🤣

The first, second, third, and last place to eat, drink and enjoy in Sosua. The meeting spot for information, and events. Just go there, you will understand. It is the place to be, in the north coast of the Dominican Republic. Not just for the cold beer and great food but also for the social interaction.

Nice spot. Really friendly staff. My wife and I enjoyed our time there. The food was good and our drinks were good. We will definitely go back the next time we are in the Dominican Republic.

Love the Atmosphere at the establishment.Real neighborhood feel.The staff is very professional and welcoming. I sat and spoke with the manager for quite sometime. He was very engaging and had a great sence of humor. When you stop by make sure you get the wings as well as a "Cold One". You can't go wrong by stopping at Flip Flops.
