I
had
the
2-piece
chicken
meal
with
pasta
salad,
brown
rice
(I
didn't
catch
what
the
waitress
called
it,
to
me
it's
like
the
rice
(arroz)
that
comes
with
Gallo
Pinto),
and
fried
potatos
(papas
fritas,
which
looked
chicken
nuggets).
I
asked
for
a
menu,
but
instead
the
waitress
explained
the
options
and
told
me
the
prices,
when
I
asked,
which
was
fine.🙂
The
waitress
was
super
sweet
and
helped
work
through
my
Spanish
language
limitations.
Nobody
I
spoke
with
there
spoke
English,
AFAICT.
I'm
pretty
sure
you
could
get
by
pointing
to
the
food
you
want,
which
is
visible
from
the
sidewalk,
and
using
simple
sign
language
(hold
up
2
fingers
to
indicate
you
want
2
pieces
of
chicken,
for
example🙂).
My
sense
is
you
order
chicken
(pollo)
from
the
left
side
of
the
restaurant
and
sea
food
(mariscos)
from
the
right
side.
My
only
slight
issue
was
the
waitress
on
the
sea
food
side
seemed
to
be
amused
or
non-helpful
regarding
my
spanish
pronunciation.
However,
the
staff
on
the
chicken
side
made
up
for
this.
I
thought
the
chicken
was
tender,
moist,
and
had
good
flavor.
I
liked
the
pasta
very
much
and
the
rice
and
fried
potatos
were
very
tasty.
Very
good
portions
for
the
spuds
and
rice,
too.
Oh,
and
to
say
the
food
is
a
good
value
is
an
understatement.
