My partner and I stayed here two nights. Everything was as good as could be expected the room was large and comfortable and all staff we met were excellent, we did not eat here so can not comment on the food but the service in the bar could not have been better. When we return to Cadiz we will stay here again.

Remarkably clean rooms. The location is outside of the old town, but only about five minutes walk from it. If you come to Cádiz to experience history, the problem is this neighborhood is modern and ordinary. The parking garage was confusing and rather difficult to park. One morning our wake-up calls were one hour too early and that cost us an hour of sleep. Most staff were helpful, but not all.

My husband and I stayed here for three nights. First of all: the staff was very great and very helpful. The breakfast was delicious and extensive. Also the location of the hotel was nice (close to the ocean/ beach and a good walk to the old town). The rooms were clean but unfortunately furnished coldly and rather practical. Also the hotel itself didn't feel cozy. The price per night was a lot higher compared to any other hotel (always 4 star hotels) we stayed in during our 3 weeks round-trip. This explains the rating of 3 stars.

Really kind staff - I didn’t stay here but I was struggling to get a taxi around the area. She kindly helped me calling a taxi at midnight. Thank you so much!

Great place to stay. The staff was very polite and patient with us. We spoke little spanish and they understood english well. Would definitely recommend staying here. The spot is nicely located just outside the old area of Cadiz.

Great hotel with friendly staff and excellent service. Rooms are clean and adequately equipped with mini bar, good quality toiletries and a decent shower. Breakfast is good, with plenty of fresh fruit and the usual continental meats and cheeses. Location-wise, the beach is literally 2 minutes away and there is a Carrefour supermarket next door. The old city walls are a ten minute walk, and as it is flat, not too strenuous for getting into the rest of the old city. While there are other larger hotels further East in Cadiz and closer to the trendier bars, I'd definitely choose Monte Puertatierra over them.

The team went above and beyond to make sure our first overnight stay with a 15 week old baby was as comfortable as possible. They provide a crib, baby bath and bottle warmer. The room in a quiet area of the hotel. We hadn’t planned to have breakfast there but glad we did as it’s brilliant. Well worth the €15pp. We will certainly be staying here on our next visit to Cadiz.

My wife and I were traveling through Spain for our 25th wedding anniversary and decided to stay in Cadiz for a few days of beach fun and sun. The staff at this hotel were beyond gracious, helpful, and downright funny too! many thanks to Isabel, Teresa, and Sara for making our stay a hilight in Spain. Oh, and the hotel is great too! our room was spacious, modern, and clean. we vowed that when we go back to Spain, we would make sure to spend a couple of extra days in Cadiz and this hotel. Thank you again!

City hotel, beside beach. Excellent hotel, room spacious, very clean, all facilities including small minibar. Breakfast really good, buffet style but with great selection. Modern style decor, extremely friendly helpful staff, great service. Be aware no real dining facilities onsite. All in all would recomend.

Pros 1. Conveniently situated near a supermarket and the beach and a bus station. 2. Has coffee machine and free coffee capsules as well as tea. 3. Has a decent gym. 4. Has a safety box. 5. Breakfast is good. 6. Good shower amenities. Cons 1. No complimentary water, for a 4-star hotel, its a shame. 2. Daily cleaning is unsatisfactory. Mini fridge hasn't been cleaned in a while, surfaces remain dusty even after cleaning. 3. Staff would knock on your door very early whilst you're still sleeping. Not good for someone who usually has a late night. 4. Highly overpriced for what you get.

A very clean and welcoming hotel situated a 10 minute walk from the Old Port Town of Cadiz. Good sized rooms which were clean and had great facilities. The only small problem I had was the limited gym equipment, but overall, a great hotel.

Decent rooms. They are always upgrading the rooms, with a new TV, coffee maker, equipment in the gym, etc. The staff are what really sets this hotel apart, from the front desk, to restaurant, to housekeeping. They are super responsive to any needs or questions and always know what's going on around town that might interest you. Located a block from the beach, 15 min stroll to the old city, and a short bus or taxi ride to anywhere in town. It faces into the main street of the city and I've watched several parades from the front cafe or my balcony (only a few rooms have balconies). I always stay here and feel like family.

The quilts were stained, the room was hot even though I had the AC on (fake control in room), the pillows were right even though there was a "menu," and the floor had sand everywhere. It's far from the center of the city, and not even hear a nice beach. Stay closer to city center and maybe toward the end of the peninsula... This place is good only for a day.

Highly recommend ! Excellent personal. Food is amazing. I arrived early in the morning and they give me breakfast free of charge. Still don't know how is the room. But up to now everything is perfect !!!

Excellent modern, clean hotel. Our room was large and well appointed; the bed was very comfortable. The continental breakfast had lots of choice, was fresh and of good quality. The hotel staff were friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

I was VERY pleasantly surprised about this hotel. Perfect location. Fantastic, friendly staff. Amazing, fully renovated rooms. Great breakfast. I have been many times in Cadiz (such a beautiful city) and stayed in many other hotels. This has been my very BEST experience… I will be back!
