My time with Sea Ventures was most AMAZING experience I could have dreamt for. After looking far and wide for the best dive shop to get my open water certification, I settled on sea ventures due to their good reviews and great location (the east side of PR has remarkable reefs and sea life). The company was constantly in touch with me prior to my arrival and ensured everything went smoothly. Right before my class was supposed to start, my transportation plans fell through and I was worried I was going to miss my check-in. However, after alerting my dive instructor, Alvin, he immediately got me in touch with a driver and even arranged my transportation for the next 3 days. From then on, I was constantly in shock with how friendly and like family I was treated throughout the entire experience. Alvin was an extremely attentive instructor and made me feel at ease the entire time. On the second day of class, we went out in open water to practice my skills and WOW the marine life was out of this world!! Alvin acted like a tour guide of the ocean and pointed out plants, corals and other fish that I would have definitely missed on my own. The guides had mentioned there were sea turtles in the area but I was honestly doubtful of catching a glimpse. Imagine my surprise when Alvin spotted Dots (that's her name) and we followed her around for a bit. I was so sad I didn't have a GoPro to take pictures or videos to show my family but Alvin once again went above and beyond and took pictures and videos of me (I'll attach some below) and sent them to me after for free!!! I really could not believe the luck I had with choosing the absolute best dive shop in PR. My last day of diving was another miracle, but this time I was accompanied by Luis, (the dive shop owner I believe?). He was so knowledgeable and could tell right off the bat how excited and grateful I was for this opportunity. After completing the last of my skills, he took me for a last lap through the reef where we found Dots again. This time, he showed me how to get to the sea floor and we had the most miraculous moment of laying face to face with her as she chomped on sea grass (literally 6 inches apart). Never have I ever felt such joy, I swear I was on the verge of happy tears. The entire crew congratulated me as I got my certification and I spent the rest of the boat ride listening to Luis advise me on what equipment and future certifications I might be interested in. Overall, diving with sea ventures was the BEST DECISION I could have made and it made my trip to PR unforgettable. I implore anyone looking for an extraordinary dive or snorkel trip to visit Sea Ventures and I absolutely am looking forward to visiting again. Thank you everyone for being out of this world!!

I was in Puerto Rico for vacation and had a few dives booked (PSA…save your money and do NOT dive the marine park in San Juan!!!) My boat dives in Fajardo were canceled the day prior to dives. I called around to try to find another trip last minute and was able to book with Sea Ventures. They were very reasonable priced, the boat was large and beautiful and the staff were knowledgeable and super friendly. They took me and the others guests on two amazing reef dives. I will only book through Sea Ventures if I’m on the Island again and would highly recommend them if you’re looking for an amazing scuba experience.

A powerful boat, fantastic and friendly crew and some stunning scenery made this a memory to cherish. In all honesty, the reef wasn’t the best we have seen… but the beach stop, lunch, drinks and hospitality more than made up for it. A fantastic full day out! Highly recommended and we will be back!

We booked discovery scuba diving for a large group (10 people). Out of 10, only 3 people were actually able to do the scuba diving. I have already done scuba multiple times before in Hawaii, Bahamas and Maldives but it was the worst experience here. There was 1 instructor for 5 people on average. The scuba gear was very mediocre. Water kept going in the mask and instructors didn't make any effort on actually solving the issues. Instead they were just in hurry to get done with everyone (Since they charge the full amount either ways). I have never seen such a ratio anywhere where more than 50% people are not able to complete the basic PADI skills.

The dive team did an amazing job of taking care of my wife and I. They made sure to always be both right there with us and give us enough space to explore. Wonderful crew and trip. The first dive site was called off (100% the right call) due to the water being full of jellyfish. They made sure to make the 2nd location amazing. Lolo and team just rock!

The instructors are top notch. I went with 4 kids. 11 to 15 and they were absolutely kind and patient. I would recommend them to couples, families, and people running solo. Snacks available, water and pop as well. Training is good, they take the time to go over things multiple times to keep you comfortable. The pictures do not do it justice. Wonderful time, my kids are over the moon. The direct quote was "best time of my life". Do it. You won't regret using Sea Ventures.

What an amazing experience, I did the discovery dive. It was my first time I was a little bit nervous, but I had an amazing instructor who taught me everything step-by-step! Shout out to Carlos. Also, my husband went with me who is a dive master and I had an amazing experience as well. It is for any level of divers! They provide snacks, drinks, and great entertainment! Also, they captured an amazing video of me underwater! I will definitely be back if I’m ever in Puerto Rico again!

Incredible experience! Even if this is a bigger boat and group than some other places the staff was very friendly, they double check the equipment with us, it was comforting. The 1 hour boat ride to Culebra itself was nice, but the diving was even more amazing. We got to see stingrays, sea turtles and a coral wall. Lunch at the beach was delicious, water and soft drinks were ice cold (litteraly a huge cooler full of ice), highly recommend. Thank you guys for the memories!!

Had the best experience with Alfonso and his crew, the snorkeling was incredible, saw so many fish, a spotted manta ray, and stingray. The drinks were delicious, crew was fun and attentive. Spending time on the beach and floatie was so relaxing! Absolutely 5 stars across the board!

We did our PADI Open Water certification with Sea Ventures. Highly recommend! The instructors Alvin and Christoph were excellent at making sure we were safe and executing our skills successfully in the water. We had some issues with visibility and SV was very responsive in getting us rescheduled so that we could go on dives as soon as we could. Definitely will be back for future dives!

They balance ‘safety first’ with outstanding, fun, customer service from student divers to the seasoned certified. They are definitely my Go To now when I’m in Puerto Rico!

Great snorkeling trip. The crew were attentive and kept the drinks and snacks flowing. The guided snorkeling provided insight into coral reefs, marine life and experiments taking place to save the coral. Flamenco Beach was phenomenal. The crew was the best we have ever had on an excursion. Recommend 100% will use them again!!!

The Sea Ventures crew is amazing! They really took the time to make sure my wife and I felt completely comfortable. Alvin made sure to keep us in sight while underwater and pointed out all the cool sea life... we were able to see a Barracuda, multiple sea turtles, remora and tons of fish.... Enjoyed 4 terrific days of diving while on vacation, and my kids earned their Open Water certification. The Sea Ventures crew was attentive to safety at all times, and is clearly well-seasoned and traveling familiar waters that they know well. Divemasters Jose and Lolo took great care of us underwater, using an underwater rattle to call attention to interesting marine life - including sea turtles, manta rays, lobster, crabs, and pufferfish. We had beautiful dives in crystal clear water near Isla Palominos and Cayo Diablo. I also appreciated their emphasis on the health of the reef and wildlife; it’s so important that we protect these endangered underwater treasures, and I enjoyed the tour through the coral farm working on restoration and repopulation. Be aware that there is a $3 fee per person for the Dept of Natural Resources (payable only in cash) which would have been helpful to know in advance. Also parking at the marina is very limited, and check-in at the shop can be a little chaotic; arriving early is your best bet. We really enjoyed diving with Sea Ventures, and look forward to visiting again!

I purchased the Snorkeling tour at Fajardo. This experience was between 4-5 hours. It was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. 1 hour of snorkeling at the reef and then 2 hours of free discovering at the island of Ikakos, where you could go snorkeling or have a bite and drinks at the open bar! The crew was 10 / 10 and made this experience even a better one. I would recommend this experience every time and even would do it again if I’m back. Gracias señores!!

Great experience! The crew was very friendly and always available to check over our equipment and answer any questions. This was my first time diving in several years and they made me feel very comfortable. I would definitely dive with them again!

We did the excursion to Icacos from Fajardo. What a wonderfully organized trip. Great communication with the crew, the staff was welcoming and very on top of all things. This excursion is well worth the money. All the equipment for snorkeling was provided along with variety of drinks, sodas, water, adult beverages, sweet and salty snacks and turkey sandwiches. We snorkeled at sea for almost an hour then we approached Icacos and anchored. Got to see coral, a sea turtle and sting ray! There was music on the boat and they took song requests which was nice. Once at Icacos the crew started serving alcohol beverages at leisure and there was even a crew member who swam around bringing drinks to us in the water and to shore. He swam my bag and drink to shore in this floatie so my things would stay dry. The crew was very attentive to security and they were very professional in spite of being so young. My daughter left her wallet and bag on board after we left and they secured it for us until we were able to pick it up the following day. Kudos to the whole crew and staff for a wonderful experience and safe time at sea. Would highly recommend.

Professional outfit, nice and knowledgable staff, good boats as one would typically expect from a respectable dive company. This was my first experience diving in PR on two different days, both facilitated by Sea Ventures. Highly recommend Fajardo Reef (specifically Cayo Diablo), it was really nice and we've seen lots of coral, fish and turtles. Some equipment seemed a bit worn off - specifically wet suits. Depending on the week day - you may score high having boat just to a handful of divers, which makes experience even better.

My husband and I had a great time on the afternoon snorkeling tour! We went to a beautiful reef where we saw lots of colorful fish. They also took us to a beach to hang out and have drinks and snacks. The guides were very attentive and friendly and made sure we were all safe. I also thought this tour was a good value for the money. I highly recommend!

Jorge, Saíd and Victoriel were exceptional. We couldn't have asked for a better crew. We had a blast and made some amazing friends on our excursion. They made us feel welcome from beginning to end. Every question was answered, every need was met. Great experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We had the most amazing experience with Sea Ventures. We did the Discover Scuba experience and had a great instructor. The classroom and shallow water instructions prepared us for the main dive. The equipment was nice and safe. The dive boat served drinks and snacks (great salsa). There were a few people that got sea sick and the staff patiently treated them with compassion and respect. The water was perfectly clear and the coral reef was beautiful. We saw sea turtles while diving! If you want to dive while in Puerto Rico and are indecisive about the company, you will not be disappointed with Sea Ventures.

Had a great snorkel cruise out to Icacos reef. Very well staffed and helpful crew. Good equipment. Decent amount of fish at the reef and they took us to a beach on the island. Great drinks and decent snacks. Fun times!

We had a great 2-tank dive, led by Divemaster Jay. Although we were certified divers, we had last dived 20 months ago, so barely got to skip the "refresher" course. That said, I was pretty rusty and Jay did a great job of taking care of us. He gave us the option to set up our own equipment, but happily took over when we were scratching our heads (and did a thorough check of the kits of those who did set up their own). The equipment we borrowed (everything but the masks) was in good condition. They recommended shorty wetsuits, but I chose to add my own long-sleeve rashguard (for sun protection) and was totally fine in the balmy water. We saw coral and some cool fish in the first dive, and then turtles, lobster, and more fish on the second dive. In case you're jellyfish-sensitive like me: We did see several large jellyfish, but we were able to avoid them pretty easily. The boat was great: I think it said it could fit 40 people, but there were only 8 tourists on the boat, plus 4 staff. So we had plenty of room to move around and relax. And also plenty of options for being in or out of the sun or spray. One word of warning: We got a TON of sandflea bites while waiting on the boat at the marina. I strongly recommend wearing bug spray and long pants and socks--we were itching for days.

So far the best experience to visit culebra island in Puerto Rico! The staff was amazing Sophie made us feeling like home and she was very kind and helpful also the other two members were amazing. Food was delicious and the drinks on point .... Love the snorkeling experience and how they teach you step by step thanks guys

So much fun! Sea Ventures rescued us twice from another unreliable excursion company in Puerto Rico who canceled on me on multiple occasions. But it all worked out for the best because they took us to Culebra today and the captain Jorge was nice enough to take us to Flamenco beach! I don’t think they normally take you to Flamenco but it was a quiet calm day with only few boats so he did! Sophia, Jay and captain Jorge were awesome!!! Thank you so much Sea Ventures!

Just went diving and snorkeling with Sea Ventures today. Our crew provided the perfect amount of safety and fun. The boat was large, clean, and ran great. On board there were multiple snacks and beverages available. They also provided lunch. Overall the crew seemed like one big family and for the day they included us in that family. While in the water we saw many different forms of aquatic life. If you're diving in the east side of Peurto Rico this is the best company you can dive with.

What a wonderful experience. The staff was incredible and patient for this being our first time. Very cautious and caring also. Never felt safer. We had Laurelyn as an instructor. Absolutely amazing instructor and informative. Could not have asked for someone better to ease our worries and anxiousness. The complete staff so nice. You will not regret doing this experience with this reliable and SAFE company.

My husband and I went on our first scuba dive together with Sea Ventures. They were very professional and Jose, Alvin, Saíd, Jay and the rest of the crew made the trip fun and memorable. Alvin gave a thorough run down of the boat, safety procedures, and our itinerary for the dives. Jose gave me some information about the islands and helped with getting us on and off the boat for our dives. Saíd was our guide during the dive and he did an excellent job pointing out sea life that we may have missed, checking in on our oxygen levels, and making sure the group was together at all times. We saw so many parrot fish and we're lucky enough to see a barracuda and two Hawksbill sea turtles.

Great first experience with the Sea Ventures crew. I was a bit nervous at first, but thanks to the Sea Ventures crew I was able to enjoy the ride. They were very welcoming and friendly. I would 100% visit them again and I would also recommend them to a friend. Thanks again!

We were very happy with our adventure and experience. Staff was very instructive and helpful to ensure we had all gear and were consistently safe before, during and after the dive. Our dive guide was knowledgeable and helped navigate the marine life for a unforgettable experience. The drinks, snacks and music made the travel between dives relaxing. Overall a great Puerto Rico experience and would definitely recommend!

We booked a snorkeling & flamenco beach excursion for a girls trip- we had an incredible time!! The staff & captain were so kind and attentive. They kept drinks and snacks coming, gave us so much info on the oceans and marine life and made sure we were having a good time. Samuel, one of the dive instructors, was the most fun guy I met out in PR! Christian, Jan Carlos & the captain were also wonderful with us! The boat was beautiful & views were absolutely incredible, will absolutely book through them again my next time visiting! Thank you guys so much!
