👍👍 Spotless store with lots of variety. The bakery breads and desserts are great, and the produce is fresh. Lots of variety for liquor and wines. They have a decent amount of American food items that you can't find in most super markets here in Mexico. Prices are a bit high for these items. Very clean and orderly store with good prices on their regular items.

Never really go to this grocery store but wanted to find dill relish and on Facebook someone told me I could find it here. So we went there. The store is actually very nice and the bakery items we got were all better than the other stores in town. Everything we got from the bakery was delicious.

I’m disgusted by the treatment of this establishment towards us. Five women (our group) entered to buy wine and cheese and a few essentials but as we entered my daughter, who carries her backpack with her iPad. Iphone, iPods, speaker, cables, art notebook etc would not be allowed to enter with it and was being DEMANDED that she leave it behind. Since I had walked in front of them I was not aware of what was happening until I realized my daughter was not by my side. I returned to encounter this situation and asked to speak to the manager. First they TOLD ME that at that time there were NO MANAGERS that they LEAVE EARLY. After insisting and insisting they told me that she COULD NO ENTER THE STORE and that I could go to the customer service counter. At the counter we were told that a manager was on site and called her. Annett claimed to be the store manager and allowed us in but the situation was degrading, dehumanizing and traumatizing for my child who is shy and speaks very little Spanish. I was absolutely disgusted. While we waited for the manager whom they first claimed was not there and had left, we saw SEVERAL people enter with LARGE bags almost the size of air travel carry on luggage and NOBODY said a word to them about having to leave their bags behind. This was a blatant attack and ABUSE on my child and she deserves an apology from this establishment.

It's a nice store with a decent selection of products and nice staff. Not many spoke English but this is their country so why should they. Just be prepared for that if you're a non Spanish speaker at a resort. I'd absolutely go back and their rotisserie chicken was excellent.

Nicely filled shelf with great mix of American and Mexican products. Produce is a mixed bag, some substandard some superb. Had to chuckle, no cilantro. Lol . My Pico has to go without. Great bakery great meat and fish selection . I have been shopping at Walmart across the street, this store is a little more expensive, minor though, but I was far more relaxed shopping at this store and had help when I needed. They have enough staff on hand. I'll be back.

We always stay in the north hotel district and Chedraui is very convenient. They keep a nice amount of Canadian/US products, some home goods, and the bakery is well stocked. Lately though, their parking lot entrance has been covered in piles of trash making the place look really sketchy. This picture was taken on a not so disgusting garbage day.

Clean and nice and you can get your car washed while shopping. There was no wait in the check out line either. Just wish they had more gardening stuff. They have Marshmallows and rice crispies too. Cool store with lots of souvenirs because they are the closest store to the cruise ships.

Not as good as other locations. A little frumpy. However, wine selections are good.

The fruit and vegetables are horrible and not to mention in the bakery area, my son who loves bread didn't even like it, and he's right. They should sell better quality products.

Chedraui Puerto Vallarta was a pleasant experience. The store is clean, and there is a wide variety of items to choose from. The alcohol section is very large, with a little bit everything that would satisfy anyone's tastes. The bakery section has many different options. We stopped in and choose a variety of items for the next day's breakfast. We found lots of: chips, coffee, fruits, water, toothbrush 🪥, toothpaste, TV, plates, napkins, chocolate, and many other daily goods. I was able to pick out several different shirts for my kids as souvenirs. There was also other trinkets, keychains, and magnets available as well with a variety of prices. We didn't have any issues with security but we also didn't try and take backpacks inside either. We did take empty bags so we could carry items back to our resort. The clerks were very nice each of the 3 times we were in the store. Each time, there was an individual that would pack our bags for us ( I believe these are volunteers and it is customary to tip them).

Better to bring your own tote bag. They have plastic bags, but the are thin & small. I bought a large tote from Walmart to have with me when I shop here.

What a fabulous market! Full of all sorts of wonderful things. Upscale market with an extensive selection of foreign and local foods. The employees are very friendly and the prices are excellent as well. This has become by go to market here in Puerto Vallarta.

For a department store it's pretty good. The instore bar was a surprise and the vending machine selling glasses of wine was a complete shocker.

For cruise passengers, this is much more convenient than Walmart and more authentic. The alcohol section is vast and well stocked.

Great supermarket. I especially like the produce and beer selection here. The only place in town I found Folgers instant coffee and noticed other products from the USA.

I like the store a lot it seems to have the products that other stores don't have. Such as Lipton tea, pretzels, applesauce a wide variety of liquor and wine and tequila and everything else you could need. It's like an upscale Walmart but very competitively priced. Has a really good butcher shop great vegetable selection, and everything you need for the refrigerator, the pickles, mustards, the barbecue sauces you can't find in other stores. Very fancy. very well lit snd laid out but easy on the pocketbook.

👍 I shop here when I don't feel like taking the bus to walmart and Im out of my favorite coffee, Cafe Marino con azucar. (I can't taste the sugar so I'm not breaking my self imposed no sugar rule!) Ley has a nice selection of cheeses and deli items. The produce department looks decent. I'm usually ab...

👍 This Walmart is funny cause of the two in town this one you don't have to know if a cruise ship is in town on if you want to skip that shopping trip or not. That being said getting a cart at this location is like being in the Hunger Games, "may the odds be ever in your favor". You will watch people...

😐 A very nice store, but beware of prices. Hence only 3 stars. Your first clue is that most things have no price tag on them. (update 2023, many items now have prices, so thats good.) Second clue, you usually only see tourists there, seldom will you see locals shopping there. Some things are normal in...
