Casa Ritual is as described online. It is a quaint, clean, boutique hotel with some of the most friendly, helpful, and dedicated staff I have ever encountered. I booked the Signature Pink w/ Balcony & Tub for a one-week stay and was aware of their no-refund policy. It is conveniently located close to the airport so yes, you will hear planes lifting off and landing a few times per day. For me, that was to be expected when choosing to stay by the airport. The staff is extremely responsive and helpful. They go beyond the call of duty, remembering our names and always ready to assist. Jonathan, Marco, Gaella, and David were most gracious and took excellent care of me and my other two colleagues who were staying at Casa Ritual. The pool was delicious. I swam every day and enjoyed their daily package deal of breakfast with open bar. The food is equally excellent, fresh, and healthy. The sushi restaurant was out of this world. I live in NYC where everything is available and fresh with some of the best restaurants worldwide, and this sushi place was right there at the top of the excellence chain. Service was impeccable. My room was large, clean, and comfortable. Casa Ritual has a 9pm "shut down" policy so guests are alerted to be quiet and respectful from that point on. I will be returning to Casa Ritual in June and cannot wait to see the staff again as they felt like family members right from the beginning. Thank you for an awesome stay!

This place was so dreamy, it was hard to leave. The staff is so accommodating and friendly. I found true peace in this beautiful hotel. Extremely clean, minimal, and the food at this establishment was the best part of our trip. I do want to acknowledge the few Americans I saw during my stay here. Please keep in mind this is a small business and not the Hilton. Please be kind to your staff and leave your privileged lifestyle at LAX. As a Mexican American, I protect my culture and hate to see when a loud American is being rude or out of line. With that said, you’ll have a great time here and enjoy the sun. Tip your staff and be nice. Will definitely be back. Xo

While this boutique hotel comes off charming, nice, and clean, we had originally booked for 3 evenings to end our vacation. Unfortunately upon our arrival and after an hour we decided to leave the hotel and stay elsewhere. Please note that this hotel is right next to the very active airport runway. The sound of the airplanes taking off and landing are very evident and loud. Unless you are use to living next to an active runway, you will find it very troublesome. Second, the door to our room could be easily unlocked from the outside, and hence we did not feel secure leaving our personal belongings in the room. There is a clear 1 inch gap between the door latch and frame that any credit card or pencil could open a locked door. We were also on the bottom floor and the noise from upstairs was evident. Footsteps were very loud from the group upstairs. We booked the premium room. After deciding to leave and notifying management of the issues, they have a no refund policy so we were charged our full 3 nights. We are still unable to receive a refund. I do not recommend if looking for no noise, but for the value the rooms are not expensive, but that is why you will find less expensive than other stays.

We picked this hotel as a place to stay before our early flight at PVR. It was in a beautiful neighborhood and the hotel itself feels like an upscale spa. The grounds and room we stayed in were beautiful. The room was simple, with a warm, modern feel. I saw another review about the noise from flights, but we only heard a couple planes, and we knew to expect that because this is next to the airport. It was not bothersome to us and I didn’t hear any planes at night. A reviewer also mentioned concern about the door being easy to unlock, but there is a safe in the room, and the doors to get inside are locked too, so I didn’t have any concerns. We had lunch there which was great and sat by the pool. There is a sushi restaurant on site but it was closed on Sunday, but we heard it’s is supposed to be fantastic. We also heard the breakfast was great, but we left too early to enjoy that. We were able to walk to the airport the next morning- about 15-20 min walk with backpacks. There is no fridge in the room, and when the staff goes home (8pm?) there was no access to coffee or more water/ice, although I’m sure they would have made to happen if needed before they left. The only regret we had was not being able to stay there for more than one night and enjoy it longer. We would absolutely stay here again.

My partner and I stayed here for about a week and a half while exploring Puerto Vallarta. Typically this hotel seems to be used by people looking to get accommodation close to the airport for a next day flight but we definitely enjoyed it as a base point for our adventures. Here is a bulleted summary: • Staff is incredibly friendly and given the small overall hotel size the experience has that exclusive feeling. • Being an adults only hotel it really does help getting that retreat spa type of feel. • As well as being close to the airport it is a short uber/drive to the marina nearby to set off on any tours you have planned. • Distance to the city centre itself is a little bit of a drive (20-30 min) but if you plan out your days you can do an uber out in the morning, spend the entire day there, and come back at night. • Food and drinks at the hotel itself is always done with great care. The drinks particularly were a highlight for us since we mostly ate out. If you get the included breakfast (depends on how you book) they give you some fruit and a croissant to start off the day. • The room itself is very comfortable and the cleaning staff do an excellent job tidying if you stay multiple days. • The room also contains a safe to put valuables in. • Overall the neighborhood this hotel is in feels extremely safe as we never had issues going for walks be there light out or not. The hotel itself has a front gate as well which provides an extra layer of security beyond your own hotel room door. • Easy walk to the Marina nearby for restaurant options. • Do you hear planes being so close to the airport? Yes you do. Were they bothersome to us? No they weren't. Throughout the day there will be some takeoffs happening but they last all of about 15 seconds and its back to quiet spa retreat. At night we didn't hear any planes and had no issues getting a full night's sleep. To finish off, this is definitely an excellent place to stay at when in Puerto Vallarta and to me beats out the all inclusive type of experiences since it has that more spa retreat like quality to it and allows you to explore the local food too. Only reason I'm not giving it the full 5 is that our washroom had some intermittent weird odors coming from it despite not being used at all. I alerted the staff and they did their best to look into it but weren't able to get to the bottom of it during our stay. Also had a couple of plumbing issues occur (not in our room but another) during our stay which resulted in water shutoffs to deal with the problem. These were minor inconveniences though and did not detract much from our stay. If I could do a 4.5 I would! Overall excellent retreat with friendly staff and comfortable rooms that serve as an excellent base to explore Puerto Vallarta!

Casa Ritual is a must to say a magical Eden and absolutely beautiful house hotel where you can enjoy from soaking the sun to drinking a margarita to eating the best food. Amazing staff and the best place to stay and meditate your mind and soul. Shout out to Veronica for making we had all the necessary things and accommodation to our needs. Jesica for making sure we were well served and chef Cinthia for the amazing food and quality on each meal. All the housekeepers for making sure the house was clean and spotless!

Ah Casa Ritual, what a lovely vacation. The hotel is located in the Marina area, which is definitely upscale, and within easy walking distance (<10 mins) of shops/restaurants/bars/anything you could need. There's the most lovely and helpful staff I've had the pleasure of meeting, and I cannot say enough for Marco and Davide's help in making our stay as comfortable as possible. The pool and food area's are beautiful and surrounded by tropical plants, and the food from their little kitchen is outstanding, I had the aguachile like 5 times in a week, and it was amazingggg! The massages are TOP notch, and they're just steps away, it was heavenly! There's a gate outside (you'll get a key) and a coded door for entry to the hotel itself (closed in the evenings), plus a lock for your door itself. But you're in Mexico in the upscale area, not Fort Knox, so relax it's not some warzone in the 3rd world. That said, it IS next to the airport, which can be loud at times but honestly wasn't a big deal, I've lived by way busier airports just fine. The only actual negative I'd have is the noise from the neighbor's dogs. They woke us up a night or two and get into a feedback loop of barking once other dogs start barking, which was solved with some earplugs from one of the gazillion pharmacies in town. I'm not even removing a star, but I definitely NEEDED them, since our window was basically right next to the neighbors house. If you want 5 star concierge service (Marco helped us with our pre-departure covid test scheduling, found us restaurants, comped us wine, sorted our massages, room service, just incredible amounts of help), a relaxing albeit occasionally noisy (~10% of the time) location, cheap cheap rates, amazing food, great drinks, amazing massages, and friendly people, look no further than Casa Ritual!

Casa ritual is filled with the most warm and welcoming staff you could ever imagine. The food is absolutely fantastic as well as the servers and wait staff. The rooms are airy and spacious making for a lovely place to call home, my only complaint is the temperature of the pool. If you like to swim daily I wouldn’t recommend this place the pool is in the low 60s. They said it gets warmer in the afternoon but that wasn’t my experience. J the host was absolutely fantastic amd welcoming. I wish I could come again. Thank you for your property being so beautiful

We must have arrived at a bad time because the staff seemed strained. Our superior queen room poolside was not what we received. Small room with double bed on the top outside corner of building. The bed was like cement. Went down for breakfast only to be disappointed that there was no breakfast this morning. No apology. No offer of juice, toast or fruit, yet 3 employees? Very nice setting by the pool, beautiful grounds. Indifferent staff.

This boutique hotel was PERFECT. Close to the airport and marina but away from the noise in a quiet neighborhood. The service was amazing… over the top excellent and friendly. Loved the styled rooms as well, very boho and calming. If you are looking for a non-touristy, quiet and chill place to stay… this is it:)

Booked online, never told me it was for adult only. Arrived there with my wife and newborn at 9pm from a 5.5 hours fight with a 10 months old baby who's teething. Just to get refused at the doorsteps. We asked if we're gonna get charge. They say no. 5 days later, the full amount passes on my credit card. I email them and they say thay this is how they do... and then start to ghost my emails. Worst place.

Shibui is best sushi restaurant in Puerto Vallarta. I’ve tried many places over the last eight years in search for what Shibui serves. You will not get cream cheese in your sushi. Instead, for connoisseur sushi lovers, you will enjoy that classic melt in your mouth like butter, sushi. We were served omakase style (chef Sylvano’s choice). All ingredients are organic, fresh, and of the highest quality. Not cheap, but you’re paying for the best.

This place is super strict. You can’t have fun. They Wont let you have fun, play music, laugh etc. They want everyone to have a straight face and spend the night with no disturbance. The Pool is just for show. If you get in they say youre too loud. Only good to sleep.

Wonderful boutique hotel in very quiet and safe neighborhood. Exceptional food and service. Because of limited guests not overwhelming. I’ll be back!

The staff here are truly some special souls and helped me regain faith in humanity after a very long haul living in TJ and bad experience in a clinic in PV. They all showed me so much kindness, grace, understanding and patience. I loved the intimate bohemian/spiritual homey vibe. It was sucha nice change from the all inclusive hotels. It may not be on the ocean but was in a beautiful lush neighborhood, and after living on the ocean for so long the jungle-like green atmosphere was actually more to my liking. It’s in a great location where you can walk or take a short ride to the beaches. I would recommend casa ritual to anyone looking for a peaceful escape, BIG thanks to you all, until next time ✨

Casa Ritual looked charming and confortable. Upon arrival we quickly realized this is not was we were getting. Although the common spaces are charming, the premium bedroom we were provided was small, dark, and extremely noisy: you hear the upstairs guests as if they were in your room, as well as the neighbouring family’s kids and dogs, and the planes. In addition, our bedroom door didn’t close properly, insects could easily get it or worst thieves. As soon as we realized that, we raised our concerns and asked if there was another room available, but we were told they were sold out. We decided to leave as we would not be able to relax and feel comfortable there. We offered to pay for our first night, even if we stayed less than an hour and only had booked our reservation 24h in advance, but asked to be reimbursed for the 2 others as we understand the hotel’s non reimbursement policy for no shows, but it isn’t fair to keep one’s money when the service is not at all what it’s supposed to be. They said they couldn’t do it on the spot because their system was closed but that they would contact us the next day, we went back a couple days later during the time the system was open and they said they had to check with accounting, we have followed up with them 3 times now and they now redirected us to accounting directly, which is not answering…. After being led on for over two weeks now you can imagine we don’t expect to be reimbursed at all unfortunately.

Casa Ritual is a very private, warm, serene place to stay. All of the staff are extremely friendly and attentive. A big shout out to Jessica, she has made our stay most enjoyable. Adults only keep it quiet enough to hear the soothing, relaxing background music. A wonderful treat when enjoying one of their absolutely delicious meals. We have just returned from PV and brought the memory of a wonderful relaxing vacation with us. Thank you to all the staff at Casa Ritual.

An absolutely over delivering stay!!! The location is safe, east to get to, and has a warm inviting feel. The rooms were authentic and seemed very updated. The stuff was friendly all around. I didn’t leave to eat anywhere else because the breakfasts and sushi restaurant were phenomenal. I will be coming back soon!!!!

This quaint, quiet place is perfect. Located in a beautiful neighborhood near the airport, it was a relaxing, enjoyable experience from checking in to checking out. The staff is very friendly, the food is delicious, and the rooms are comfy and cozy. If you want a relaxing place to lay your head, this is the spot. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and looking at all the beautiful plants and homes. Close walk to nearby cafe’s and food locations, and taking a taxi/Uber to any nearby area was a breeze, and much cheaper than I expected! At no point did we fee ill at ease or feel as if we were in a less desirable area. We felt safe and welcomed. Definitely a place I will be staying at again next time in Puerto Vallarta.

The room was terrific. Lots of space, fresh and clean water readily available, pool and books right there. Restaurant had limited hours not suitable for tourists and travelers imo., but the wait staff was sweet. The neighbors though, OHHHH MY. The must have an obnoxious 20 something partying. Loud repetitive music on all evening, sometimes into the night. Side point, I wish my cute little balcony had a chair to sit on to just rest and read outdoors without going outside.
