This place is very popular for Jalisco and Nayarit states of Mexico, you will not see tourists like in the other beaches, you might see the most about 15 to 20 the rest are locals from the states before mention, but the beach is so awesome, you might walk about 350 feet and the water will only reach your hips, the water is warm and clean, I suggest to bring with you cash for eating, because just a few places take cards.

Great beach lots of sand in water as well. Waves were perfect for body surfing. Lots of hotels and restaurants along beach.

Sandy Beach with high surf when we visited (April 2023). South side quiet and the north side quite busy. Lifeguard on duty and doing a good job. Watch out for jellyfish. It's out there. Beautiful sunsets.

It's a nice beach to get into the water. The restaurants do provide a variety of food although the portions in my opinion are small and quite basic as to what accompanies the food.
