😐 Good place for food but definitely not as nice as the location near the marina. Went to the marina location and was super excited to go to the location in zona romantica but the food and ambiance were not exactly the same. I had the lamb burger. It was good but slightly over cooked. I requested... People often mention good, service,

Good place for food but definitely not as nice as the location near the marina. Went to the marina location and was super excited to go to the location in zona romantica but the food and ambiance were not exactly the same. I had the lamb burger. It was good but slightly over cooked. I requested medium rare and it was more medium. I would go back but I am not as excited to do so since the food was just not as good as the location near the marina.

I was excited to dine at Alma. The ambience is welcoming. Unfortunately this could not over shadow the poor service and cooking. We were the only group for the evening, table of four. Started with cocktails, then ordered a high end bottle of red wine that i asked to be opened, which they did without me checking it first. Ok, i did not notice they put it in an ice bucket. Came time to drink it and they brought the ice bucket and set it on the table. First course was the scallops, which were poached... Hmmm. Next the smoked salmon, with cream cheese hmmm. I ordered the next high end Cabernet for dinner and luckily i asked to check before they opened, it was a Merlot from the same vineyard, the wrong wine. Steak was brought flash grilled (raw), pork was fair, duck breast was good, sea bass was good but they didn't have any sharp knife to cut the meat! Only dull butter knives. Need waiter training and improvement on the food. Sauces were good.

In one word “excellent” The food presentation is like a work of art very flavourful and delicious. Great service and the team in the kitchen are just amazing. Being that I’m a wine drinker absolutely loved their big wine glasses. Most enjoyable evening.

My girlfriend and I celebrated my birthday here. Excellent appetizer and meal, nice selection of wine. Portions were plentiful. We had very good service that night. Most definitely not a hamburger joint anymore!!

Way Way overpriced for the food quality and the service. Yes the space is very nice but we don't eat that. Bravos, Trio's and Cafe de Artiste offer better value for both food and service at lower prices. Perhaps this restaurant has growing pains, IE: 2 orders of Salmon , one was very small the other large -both served to the same table. 2 orders of rib eye steak, one order has a large chunk of burnt fat in the corner, 2 burnt peppers and a piece of a dried cold potato casserole. Presentation was Blah. Staff was pleasant but unresponsive. Menu required magnification to read. We are guessing the restaurant was an investment made with out previous culinary experience. Wonder if some of the reviews were written by the restaurant-- odd one review mentions burgers and fries- and they are not on the menu---odd, Albert, Alex, Benton & Paul

Beautiful interior. Unfortunately the place is very disorganized. The person who appeared to be in charge is clueless. We witnessed arguments between servers and between the manager and servers. Very disruptive. As for the food, the menu is very appealing but the food was disappointing. 30 minutes before our bread arrived. Carpaccio was tough and had gristle. Salmon totally overcooked and the Tomahawk pork chop was almost impossible to cut. All of this on a night when it wsn't that busy

Everything was fabulous. It's mostly a continental place with burgers, fries, etc. We tried the slider sampler, don't remember the Spanish name. My wife got the magenta cocktail, the mezcal made it smoky, the fruit balanced it out. Everything was delicious, service was excellent.

Pricey, but the cocktails they make and the sliders will change your life!
