Avoid this place. Overcharged and overpriced! Sat down, asked for menu, wanted a beer, old guy waiter didn’t give menu just pushed a drink I didn’t ask for, then came the bill, 320 pesos ($16 U.S) for 2 margaritas. One watered down. We then went to Oceano Azul a block away and ON THE BEACH. For the same price, 5 beers, 3 marlin tacos, chips and salsa, live entertainment, oh and did I mention ON THE BEACH!

DONT GO TO THIS PLEACE Kidnap alert!!!!! Worst place ever!!! I’m from PV and this place been always so sketchy. Now 25 years later they tried to KIDNAP my sister in law and then they charge me double for my bill which I payed cash while trying to defend my family from this A$$ 0s!!!!!

I was baited in here on a 2 for 1 drink special. When I got my bill, not only were the drinks not two for one, there was extra drinks on my tab that I did not order. Pay attention to what you order. Some of the staff are up to no good

Don’t go. They made us pay for drinks we did not ask for & plus they had the tip included on to the bill already, service was horrible.

The dancers, the music and the ambiance are a good vibe. However, we fell for the “Free drinks for ladies”, when it came to pay the old woman here harassed us for a larger tip.

WATCH YOUR BILLS! Completely overcharged us maybe thinking we didn’t understand or were to “wasted” to figure it out but $200 US for 4 drinks???? Thank goodness we know our conversion! We were warned and clearly didn’t listen! Shouldn’t take advantage of tourists because word does get around! Shame on you!!!

The bar has nice looks , Waitres brought the bill , no additional charges at all, I paid with cash and then he said no tips are included I said okay tip him at keeping moving. The music is to much constant techno I can dance 1 but after 15 min listening to the same sound bet bored. Drinks was on point. Bottles service available. No covers on the weekend late night. The drinks prices is the same at any other clubs around 10$-12$ us each drink. I had a good time. Just be aware of your surroundings and enjoy.

A guy in a monkey suit talked to us on the street. Invited us to eat. We sat down outside, he adjusted the fans to keep us cool as it was very hot. The food was very good. The manager came by and checked on us. Highly recommend this restaurant if in Puerto Vallarta.

i would have loved to give this bar five stars. they have energy, a great ambience, excellent music, and phenomenal customer service … except … when it comes time to pay the tab. they ONLY accept pesos but will take you to an ATM that only dispenses USD. They will ask about their exchange rate and tip despite you questioning the price of well shots and the sheer number of drinks reflected on the tab. They understood my english just fine and I understood their spanish just fine until it was time to pay the check. Earlier in the night i paid less for market value seafood and drinks than i did for their club drinks and bottles of water. Everything is about their club is awesome until you pay. Everything was amazing about their staff until you pay. Instead just buy a bottle and ask for juice if you want a good price. Ask for a few bottles of water as well. But don’t ever let them now bring you rounds. I’ve traveled the world for nearly twenty three years of my life and haven’t ever been scammed like this. Beware.

We had such an amazing time at Zoo bar! We came here 3 nights in a row during our stay in PV. All visits were consistently great and fun. Music was good. Atmosphere was very friendly. Service was top tier! All the staff members were exceptional. Winnie took care of us all 3 nights. He was so adorable and friendly.

So much Fun at the Zoo!!! We liked this place much more than Mandala. The drinks were good and fair priced. The music kept us bumping til the wee hours of the morning. They went waaaay out of their way to recognize my birthday and make it a blast! The staff was great

Came here for lunch! Yummy strawberry margarita, steak fajitas, fish tacos and guacamole.

Careful if the "ladies night" scam. Several staff members stated ladies drink free, then charged for drinks.... we heard from the bartender that we weren't local, so special didn't apply. Manager and staff kept coming up with excuses as to why we weren't given the special.

Food was amazing, staff was friendly.

Waiter was very pushy about getting a larger tip, when the tip I gave him was quite fair. When He brought the bill, he told me the gratituity that he wanted and it was over 20%. I go to this club every week, annoying to be treated like that. I tip fairly so don’t pester me for more and get angry when I say no.

Can’t say enough good things about the guys that work at Zoo & the atmosphere. My friend and I came here 3 nights in a row and we were taken care of each time. Big shout out to Winnie and Angel for making our first night out in PV memorable and being so attentive. Not once were our drinks empty. Good time, good music and the dancer wasn’t too bad to look at either. Definitely will be back next time I’m in PV.

Out of the 4 clubs at the malecón, this was by far the best one. Waiters are not constantly on you checking if you have finished your drink, or trying to make you buy more. Prices are about 10 pesos cheaper than the other clubs. Highly recommend if your just trying to enjoy your night having some drinks.

Definitely a fun place to take your girlfriend! They don't necessarily give guys the same treatment but if you bring in a huge crowd of people that spend money the bar folk will hook it up! Loved it there! Miss it! Would to back!

We had a great time here. Good music to dance to every night, entertaining servers, and no issues with our check (some bars change menu prices on tourists). Shoutout to Fabian, he was an amazing server.

They made me and my friend feel very safe for going out late. If you come here multiple times you start to get the family vibe and it’s really nice because they start to take care of you like family.

We came to this cute bar for a drink. A staff member wearing a gorilla outfit was very helpful and friendly. Our waiter was not that pleasant. We order a margarita and a daiquiri and ask for a menu. He insisted that we had margaritas instead of the daiquiri and did not get us a menu. $16 for two margaritas. I gave two stars for the friendly gorilla (actually, I would have given him 5 stars😁)

Always a fun stop when your friends come to town. The staff and the vibe are fun, good music and is located right on the malecon. Definitely should be one of your stops on a night out

Fun bar. Atmosphere is great. Played all the music we suggested. Restrooms were clean. Staff was very accommodating. Props were fun and there even is a stripper pole. Lol

Bottle service was around $100-$130+ U.S. Dollars. Yes, you read that right! USD! Quite pricey and similar to the other two next door. Great place to drink and music can get very loud. I came here with my group and would love to come back!

Great fun on my birthday. Staff are amazing and our photos of the night, legendary! Pole dance, wear the grande Sombrero and live it up!

A real action centre at night. We had a very good lunch at noon. Great place for young people.
