A great, super friendly neighbourhood bar/eatery. I LOVE this place!!! Great drinks and food from a small menu, at very reasonable prices. Hard to find the first time, but oh so worth it! Save room for desserts! WHEN she decides to make them, the owner makes The BEST lemon meringue pie in the world! No kidding, I've done a lot of research 😎

First night in the area and was too exhausted to cook! Had read the reviews for this little local and wanted to give it a try! They did not disappoint...offering a simple menu with a few interesting choices and of course a daily special. Both of us opted to order off the menu and were very pleased with our choices! The bar area was well stocked with everything as well as a chalkboard list of "house specialties". The best part however was the ease of interaction of the patrons! Many have been staying in the area for the Season while along with us newcomers a couple from BC had heard about this place on Facebook and made the trek from their place in the Hotel Zone. Friendly chatter between us all and it was nice to have the owner's be a part of our conversation! All in all an excellent first night back in PVR and I recommend you stop into Cafe Mordida to give them a try! Well done folks...you are living the dream!

This is a wonderful little restaurant owned and operated by a couple of Californians who by themselves are cooking and serving American style food after 5 pm on Friday Saturday and Sunday. A great find with very reasonable pricing and well cooked prepared and served dishes. Great atmosphere, well above expectations. Tom & Angie.

CAFÉ MORDIDA is a very small but delightful neighborhood restaurant with wonderful food and friendly atmosphere. My wife and I were fortunate to get seats for their Thursday night PRIME RIB DINNER Special. The prime rib was served with mashed potatoes and gravy, corn-on-the-cob, horseradish and au jus - and everything was mouth-watering delicious, especially the perfectly cooked prime rib. We chose 2 red wines from their excellent selection of wines, beers, tequilas, and mixed drinks. We also ordered 2 fabulous desserts. Our table was on the balcony overlooking the Cuale River - the sound of the heavy rushing water drowned out most of the street traffic, and we thoroughly enjoyed the rustic setting and warm homey ambience. Everyone was friendly and sociable – encouraged by the welcoming hospitality of owners Sarah and Ric, as well as by the well-known and jovial prime rib chef Roger. Service was outstanding – our energetic young waitress was super-efficient and instantly attentive and responsive. Sarah is the “Queen” of Desserts and her Key Lime Pie and Brownie Cookie Sundae with Ice Cream, Chocolate, Whipped Cream, and a Cherry on top were a delight!! Prices were very reasonable. Definitely a must place to savor and appreciate the food, atmosphere and community.

Lovely little place just outside the environs of Puerto Vallarta in a little town called Buenos Aires. Family owned Gringo cooking that will delight you. Sits about 20-25 people max; Strong drinks, fun place to go! Best oysters in Vallarta

Great inexpensive and strongly made drinks. Pizza and oysters are tasty too. One of my favorite lesser know places in Vallarta.
