Great local beer joint if you're looking for something that's not packed and loud. Felt very local and not touristy. Some great craft beers for pretty decent prices $3 maybe for craft beer is a decent deal! Friendly staff and bartenders. It's kind of more of dive bar but still nice! Closes earlier then most places on a Saturday night tho, 12am last call 11:30pm.

Try the Hazy NEIPA, one of the best outside New England. Made the walk multiple times to make sure and it was worth it. Grilled cheese was out of this world too! Waitstaff were very helpful and friendly.

Nice brewery serving IPA brewed locally. The Doc Harpoon is a nice strong beer (7.4%ABV) without being very bitter. Fellow patrons are easy to talk with about anything. With owner approval, tavern is dog friendly.

Great beer! My go to was Piña Colada- their pineapple beer. Very refreshing. It’s brand new and they don’t have cans yet, otherwise I would take some back home. Manzon Brewery, in my opinion is better than Los Muertos Brewery. You of course should try both. Manzon has good flavors and good bites! Their beer seemed to have better flavors and the beers were overall more refreshing. Smaller brewery for sure, but good enough if you like trying new beers!

Great beer, great times. Try the Elote, it’s delicious.

Monzón Brewing is one of my absolute "Go To" places every time I visit Puerto Vallarta. Hands down the best independent brewery in Vallarta! Try a flight, or find a beer on the list you think fits your tastes. Myself, I'm not an IPA guy, but they have a few of those to offer, including their Lupita IPA. Their beer varieties kind of rotate, they had a Porter a few years ago that was amazing, I wish they'd bring that one back. Their food is good too, ate here a few times.

If you're looking for a cool brewery in PV, I suggest you check this place out. The staff was great and they have a nice selection of beers.

Just happened by here on a stroll around town. I'm a bit biased as I come from an area with some amazing craft brewing but was really impressed with the quality of their beer and selection. I would recommend if you're a beer lover and want something different while in Puerto Vallarta.

This is a great place to while away some time. I've been to several breweries in PV and Monzón has the best beer hands down. And the tacos are to die for. Definitely go for the BBQ brisket.

We stopped in just for a couple of beer flights, and really enjoyed the beer and the atmosphere of this brewery! My favorites were the berry verano saison and the pivot sour (pink lemonade). We did not have any food, but it looked delicious and we’ll have to come back and try later. The staff were very kind and friendly.

The local licor salespersons a street away recommended this place so we can try the beer made out of a whiskey barely. They had sotol on offer so I got a shot. Lovely atmosphere chill vibes I would come again

delicious beer and fun atmosphere- as someone who LOVES a good IPA this was the perfect spot to fulfill my craving. Played a game of cards (we brought with us) and enjoyed the people watching. Super nice staff too. Highly recommend!

Always excellent beer, food and staff. We make sure to stop by numerous times each visit to PV! The atmosphere is great and we’ve met many friendly people while there. We’ve watched them grow over the years and are happy to see them continue to thrive!

So glad we went to Monzón! David and Gabriel were eager to help us find a perfect beer/drink and the food was exceptional - handmade tortillas and salsa were some of our favorite food in all PV. Beer was good and was pleased to find a good IPA! The margarita was tart and refreshing just like we were told.

You have discovered a local gem in Vallarta. Lucky you! Their beers are awesome and it seems like the staff and owners really care about what they’re doing. Their pivot sour beer is so so good in this crazy heat, but I also recommend going for the tasting racks if you really love craft beer! They’ve made sustainable choices like cloth napkins instead of paper. Upstairs they’ve got a bigger space and couches for groups, trivia night and also tvs if watching sports is your kind of thing. If you want to escape the throng of chain restaurants and support an awesome local business, as well as enjoy good food, beer and service, this is the place.

What a great place! The craft beers and mixed drinks are amazing. This is definitely the hometown brewing feel. Same local feel and same cranky servers sometimes lol after a few drinks and making our hosts laugh, they joined in our groups shenanigans.

Awesome brewery, the upstairs area was quite nice. The beer we samplef and drank was good, as was the food, very good and the prices were very reasonable.

The best brewery in PV. I am not a beer fan but liked the Pina Colada beer and the Sin Fin beer. My husband thought the IPA beers were very smooth and better than Los Muertos brewery. We only had room for the Mac and cheese balls but they did not disappoint. Staff is also friendly, attentive and speaks English.

Good beer selection and food choices. We had some nice beers but it was a bit hot and beers were pricey

TOP NOTCH. After a week in PV and a complete inability to find an IPA my wife informs me that her good friend had been to Monzon and loved it. Mind you, this place is ~3 blocks from the condo we're staying in. Naturally we stroll in around lunch time, I get a couple delicious IPAs and a mouth watering sandwich. All in all, it was a dream come true, with great WiFi to top it all off. So much so that we came back a couple days later to grab a late night beer during the pride parade. Excellent experience, great people and an overall amazing place to add to the charm of Puerto Vallarta. If you enjoy beer and a good atmosphere, this is the place to be. We'll be back soon (already have another trip booked).

Come here, not the other ones if you like beer. Really well done, each beer is a great version of its type of beer. The breweries nearby all taste like they added different diluted flavours to one watered down beer.

Great selection of local craft beers, Mexican dishes with a modern twist. Nice staff, rustic decor.

Love this place! The entire crew are super friendly and even put up with my terrible/non-existent Spanish! The Lupita IPA is world class and fact that they also service mixed drinks allows my husband and I to both drink! Will definitely be back! Keep up the good work!

First visited as a random tourist and eventually just loved Monzon from the moment I walked in. It's just a fun, relaxed place with a good vibe and lovely, nice staff. The beer is obviously outstanding. I only drink IPAs and stouts so can only speak to those ones! Lupita is the fav but harpoon is a sleeper hit and the one I always get. Food is great too. Ceviche is fresh and their grilled cheese sandwich is maybe the most dangerous food known to man. It's addictive.

Very good local beer selection! Food was also very good, tacos were very tasty. We'll definitely come back.

I have been coming to this brewery for over 3 years now and have been to every one in PV, this one’s definitely my favorite and closest to the styles of beer in the states. It’s also hard to find places in Mexico with double IPAs as well and they almost always have one on tap. In the winter they have some great stouts as well. They’re also dog friendly which is one of the main reasons I started going there. Also, try the poke.

Beer was pretty good, but I've had better from them when a friend brought some up to Canada. Maybe they just happened to have some duds on tap when I came. Next time I come, I will try again and will update my review. Service was fantastic. Get more merch in stock! Get some hats!
