The grilled red snapper was unlike any flavor I’ve had before. Absolutely incredible and will be returning to enjoy again. The roasted garlic, limon, habanero combined with the fresh grilled fish was just outstanding. We also tried the traditional ceviche and guacamole which were both good. Had a pretty casual ambiance with an attentive waitstaff.

When you go to a place and every single step blows your mind, you know you found something especial. The attention to details was spectacular, the food was amazing, no words to describe the service. 10/10 all day long. Don't be fooled by the name, this place has authentic Mexican food. The best.

We loved this restaurant! Every single employee was very courteous and friendly. The food was incredible. Every single bite was full of delicious flavors. It was my husband's birthday so he got an extra dessert.

We went there by chance and it was a wonderful experience. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. Their special Fried Chicken was finger licking good and the portion was generous. Guacamole was fresh and one of the best we’ve had in Puerto Vallarta so far. And the mojito was refreshing, perfect to pair with the Fried Chicken!

It's ok. Very predictable food and safe menu. Staff is great and the drinks are good. It's a stake for the less adventurous eaters. If you want something bolder and more traditional walk a few blocks and you will find great spots. I've been a number of times and I will return.

Good food great atmosphere, decent wines. Been there twice, always happy with the service. However, I’m not entirely happy with the second dinner we enjoyed there. A couple sitting next to us was coughing several times. Asking them or the waiter to avoid coughing (ventilator was pointing directly to our plates) didn’t help. We couldn’t enjoy the great fish. We are disappointed that they didn’t do anything about it although we asked them to do something about it. We should stick to basic rules during these times of pandemics. We didn’t deduct any point for this incident!!

Overall this restaurant offers a wide variety selection on its menu as well as reasonable prices. The service was exquisite - friendly staff and notably very fast considering how busy the restaurant was when we were there. The food tasted pretty good overall however nothing too unique or different. I would definitely visit this place again especially if you like seafood, however the menu has a little bit of everything to suit varying dietary restrictions and preferences.

Good, fresh food with friendly service! Initially I thought it was priced a little high but the serving sizes justified the cost of the meal. Great cocktails also!

Simply stopped in here for a salad, but I was utterly wowed by the ambiance, service, and tasty-looking meals!! 🍺🥗🍤 I don’t think you could go wrong with anything on their menu. I ate downstairs in the Mexican style cantina bar, but there’s a beautiful rooftop dining area upstairs as well. I will come back to this place every time I’m in Puerto Vallarta!

I was honestly not expecting much from this place since it looked a little touristy but I was so wrong! The guacamole was delicious and the pound of shrimp was a great deal! Everything tasted so fresh and the service was so quick and kind. The ambiance is also great. You have to sit up on the patio for the lights and the view!

Great atmosphere and service!! They're patio space was nice. We got the fish tacos and it was decent, nothing to rave about. A bit pricey for what you get though.

We’ve been many times and they never disappoint! Great cocktails, food and service. We took 13 people last night who have not been and they all loved it! From the spicy marg to the dorado dinner and the spectacular service, all of it was top notch!

Food was amazing here. Cocktails were OK. Definitely on the pricey side but worth it. Awesome ceviche, poke, aquachiles, and fish and chips. The rice and stewy beans were a fantastic side dish.

Joe's should be a MUST TRY on your list of PV restaurants. Joe's does everything to accommodate and make their guests feel welcome. Immediately after being seated you are treated to an ice cold towel to cool down and settle in. Next comes a jicama, pepino and radish plate with sea salt and Tajin. Wines by the glass are delightful! Fish tacos and Joe's signature Fish and Chips (best fries in town - 🐟 too!) will make you a believer. We usually order a Wedge salad, but the special Caprese with Oaxaca cheese, heirloom tomatoes and garden-plucked basil was beyond! Thanks to our server, your name tag said Joe's and I don't think we asked your name - brilliant service and really could tell your love of food! Muchas gracias!

First time to Joe Jacks and we will be back. Excellent sea bass that was perfectly cooked. The guacamole is a must get. Really enjoyed the Mescal drinks.

May absolute favorite place in pv to get seafood. The calamari is so fresh and flavorful and not breaded which is amazing. The octopus a la plancha is the best octopus I have had here and we come here several times a year and try all different places! The drinks are awesome as well!

Ordered Amaro Sour, Calamari, Grilled Octopus and Red Snapper tacos. All were great but even better was the service from Marcela More! Customer service is amazing considering I’m coming from USA. It’s just something nice to feel like you’re welcomed. My first visit to PV and my first restaurant I visited. If you like seafood you should definitely try it. Calamari is the best I’ve ever eaten!

This place has really good bartender that makes very good drinks for a restaurant. Food was really good. Upstairs is where you want to sit since it feels more like a restaurant and downstairs if you're there for a quick bite and drinks.

Great expat friendly restaurant. All the wait staff speaks English and my waiter Ariel was very customer service oriented. The food and drinks were delicious and came quickly. My first experience at Joe Jack's was fantastic. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Zona Romantica.

Atmosphere was great, a nice breeze on a hot day. Guacamole was by far the best of the meal, they even brought extra chips. Guacamole was fresh and portion was very generous. Fish and chips left something to be desired and French fries were definitely fried in same oil as the fish. Fries tasted spoiled

This was a mixed bag. Visited twice. Wanted to eat something different over my two week stay so went in on fried chicken day. It was chicken and it was fried. I'll give it a 3. Hot, fresh, crispy but over cooked. But, the mash potatoes were great 5 stars there. The octopus on the plancha was very very good. Cooked just right. Great flavor and the sides were good. Now, here is where the train left the tracks. This Tequila is truly amazing if you don't mind spending close to $1000.00 for 2 drinks.

Celebrated my birthday here and love it! They accept reservations and credit card payments. They have been in business for 17 years and I can understand why. Their service is very much catered to tourists/westerners. The whole fish snapper is around $65 when we got it. It is big and good for 4 people to share. Pricey but really good. Though I didn’t like the octopus sauce as much, the octopus itself is really juicy and cooked perfectly. Their cocktails are heavenly and the outdoor seating ambiance is well worth the price.

Service was great! Food was good. Guacamole & chips, tuna poke and red snapper were delicious. I didn't like the flavor in the octopus dish. Overall a good restaurant for tourists.

Joe Jack's is one our favorite spots and is always consistently good seafood. Service is always friendly, starting with a smile and cool refreshing towel. From there, every dish we have tried has been delicious.

Professional service and solid food plus views galore for all your people watching needs. There are some very creative and technical chefs in this kitchen. Had the 1/2 bucket of shrimp, sea bass tartare special and Baja Fish tacos. I have to say the bass tartare was one of the cleverest, freshest and creative spins on this dish I had ever tried. Remarkable. Shrimp were boiled perfectly and easy to peel. Their cocktail sauce packs a punch and is delicious. I’ve had better fish tacos. These were almost like a fried fish tostada. My cocktail, the amore amargo hit the spot, cool, smokey and sweet. I was pleasantly surprised and happy I tried them out. You will be too.

Excelente place for delicious food and drinks with the best service. A 3 person service team to attend to all your dining needs!! Best Filet Mignon ever!! And hamburgers you don't want to miss out on while in Puerto Vallarta☀️🏖🌴

We had a memorable dinner here! Our server "Joe" (she said they're all named Joe) was phenomenal (friendly/fast/fun) even though it was only her first week. Food and drinks were good too!

Fantastic fresh seafood, presented beautifully. We absolutely loved the Shrimp and Avocado Tostadas Louie. This was followed by the octopus, which was a real triumph. Staff are friendly and welcoming. They spoke perfect English, but allowed us the room to practice our Spanish. There is a wonderful atmosphere here, especially on the roof terrace, above the city streets. This is certainly not to be missed. Definitely worth visiting, we'll be going back for sure!

I LOVE this place. The ceviche is to die for and the atmosphere is wonderful. We always have amazing service (very personable and attentive) and enjoy the views this place has to offer. I always make a point to come to Joe Jacks at least once every time I’m in PV.

I had seen reviews of the restaurant on YouTube and was eager to check it out. They have a wonderfully decorated main floor with a great ambience, and their upstairs seating area is open concept and cozy. The food here is great, and so are the margaritas and mojitos! My server Joe (José) provided great service, and he was super knowledgeable about the menu. I’ve had the guy both times during the day for lunch - he makes you feel really welcomed. I think this place is a bit of a legend in Puerto Vallarta - so it’s definitely a must eat/drink at.
