Loved this place - we randomly stopped here for some drinks and tacos and I'm so glad we did. Between the two of us - 4 beers and 9 tacos (6 beef, 3 pork), we spent 380 pesos, so about $24 cdn - I'm sure there were probably some taco trucks off the main drag in downtown PV, but it was a restaurant and had tables inside and outside along the sidewalk, so it was nice and relaxing. I would have taken a lot more photos, but we were starving! We would definitely come back here to try more items from their menu.

If you want cheap, authentic local dish in the centre of PV. Lots of options to choose from. Pozole and alambres were delicious, the taco was deep fried, which I don’t like (I prefer normal). Probably will go again during our stay.

Ripped off!! If I could give a zero, I would. I am a generous giver of stars. Usually give 4’s and 5’s for decent food and good service BUT the green juice was full of bits and pieces of pineapple rind that were sharp and undrinkable. I couldn’t communicate this so I used my app but I just received puzzled look from the server. Then my husband’s breakfast order was hotcakes and they brought him divorced eggs. The server seemed upset that we would send it back. Then when we went to pay the 270p tab, putting 400p down, we were not given any change so that means the tip was almost 50%!! What! More puzzled looks and shoulder shrugs upon asking for the change. We actually would have left 30p tip but they must have felt they deserved more. Never ever going back there but thankfully there are many more options in the 1 block radius. LESSON LEARNED

Experience local day to day cuisine! Breakfast, lunch or dinner. Located among big restaurants in a busy area, this humble place offers flavourful food for those looking for homemade dishes. Staff were attentive and with big smiles. Facilities could be improved, but just focus on the amazing food!

Their Pozole Rojo con Pollo (chicken soup) is now the thing that I crave when I am under the weather.

Got the chicken and cheese burritos with refried beans. The burritos would have been excellent by themselves, but add some of that salsa in the small bowl to the left in the photo and they became twice as delicious. I'd absolutely return to this restaurant in the future.

The servers don't speak very much English but are very helpful. Great prices and real mexican food without the overpriced tourist tax

I was stopped for dinner because I saw that this restaurant looked nice and I read the menu and had some good dishes. I went with the bistec a la mexicana. The steak looked fine with the sauce on top of it. Not much steak underneath but I didn't want to have a large meal before bed. The food was good and flavorful. The beans were a little runny but they were fine. Washed it all down with a corona. Very nice meal for end of day. The service was good. I had 3 servers asking me about my order. When it was time to pay they took a bit of time since they had to write the order manually. Overall the restaurant was good. I may come back again to try some of the other dishes but for the moment I will keep exploring.

So authentically Mexican. Amazing flavours and extremely good service. Menu all in Spanish, which we were fine with but don't expect much English spoken. Totally recommend.

This is real down to earth authentic home cooking at a reasonable price. I have been dining here for over 15 years. The food is fresh, it's not a fancy restaurant just very casual, clean and the family of Lolita is truly kind hard working people. We were previledged to have met Lolita years ago and dined with her when the restaurant was packed. She shared her the story of starting the restaurant. My friends and i have eaten many dishes with great flavors and have never been sick once in all the years. We were referred by travelers years ago and it was the best referral we got.

Good local restaurants with authentic Mexican food. But food was average at best. Very good value though

NEVER EAT HERE. FOR SOME REASON THIS PLACE DECIDED TO MAKE MYSELF AND MY MEXICAN GIRLFRIEND WAIT FOR 40 MINUTES FOR IT TO GO ORDER WHILE THEY SERVED EVERY SINGLE PERSON THAT WALKED IN AFTER US AT A TABLE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AMATEUR AND HORRIBLE. I REFUSE TO EAT THE FOOD EVEN THOUGH WE PAID FOR IT AND WE ASKED FOR A MONEY RETURN BUT THEY KEPT TELLING US TWO MORE MINUTES TWO MORE MINUTES AND BEGRUDGINGLY I WAITE. I WOULD NOT SPEND 20 PESOS HERE. THE PLACE IS TOTALLY NON-PROFESSIONAL UNCLEAN AND NOT WORTH THE TIME OF YOU EVEN WALKING IN OFF THE STREET.

Lolita is authentic Mexican cuisine. I couldn't tell you what the name of the dishes are but they were excellent. The plate on top had cheese quesadillas, seasoned strips of pork, 2 pork tacos, and something else 😁 The plate at the bottom is 4 chicken tacos. Very small restaurant but that is how most are. We weren't impressed with the prices. There are taco "trucks" on side roads that are just as good. One taco is $0.66.

Good breakfast place. I had huevos a la mexicana with a side of bacon and it was delicious. The house salsa goes very well with the eggs. Fresh orange juice was also tasty. Cafe de olla is already sweetened so keep that in mind if you don’t like your coffee sweet.
