What more can be said about Pancho's that has not been said in the thousands of other reviews. This place is phenomenal. The Pastor Tacos are heavenly and truly melt in your mouth. There will always be a line, be prepared and don't complain. It is well worth the wait. They open every day at 4 PM and the line starts forming well before then. They do not offer to go orders so you cannot skip the line to order to go. Just wait and enjoy! The staff is always very friendly and efficient as well. I always feel like I've won the lottery when I finally get seated and get to enjoy this place!

Pancho’s did not disappoint. The wait time was about 30-45 minutes (5:pm) which is to be expected. Two orders of tacos (4 per order) and a shared guacamole (chips included) was plenty! They were not doing take out orders or packing up your leftovers when we were there. Do not plan on over-ordering with the intention of asking them to pack up the rest to go. I saw them reply, “Sorry, we don’t do that.” to one table. NOTE: If you want to take some guacamole or tacos back to your room try discreetly bringing your own container and bag.

It’s worth the hype and the wait. Second visit to Pancho’s Takos did not disappoint. Ordered bistec beef tacos, one order with only onions and cilantro, and the second order with grilled onions. Had an order of guac and some epic queso fundido with mushrooms - so so good! Very fast service. Pancho’s lives up to its line!

The Al pastor tacos are great! I came especially for that so it didn’t disappoint. However the rest of the food is not really all that great. The salsas lack taste they are very bland. Their quesadilla needs like way more cheese it just feels like an oversized taco. Asada tacos are also a bit under seasoned (I needed to add quite a bit of salt. The prices are very fair overall it’s a great value.

Outstanding! Pancho's was recommended to me by a few Instagram followers when they found out I was in Mexico and it did not disappoint. Its only a small place and really authentic. It seemed constantly busy but so worth the wait. There was a queue for tables on the two occasions I visited so be prepared to wait 30 minutes to be seated and it's a sort of dine and dash place so once you've eaten they like to get the table back for the customers waiting. Would 100% recommended and will visit again!

Easily the best tacos I've ever had. We are vegans and this place had amazing options. The stuffed avocados and mushrooms with tacos were amazing, and so was the grilled onions. Great, fast and friendly service! Will definitely return.

Some of the best pastor tacos in town! 100% always a go to for us when we come to PV. There is always a line, be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes most days to get seated. Longer on weekends. The service and drinks are good. Hopefully someday they expand to a larger location.

Well worth the wait! The Al Pastor tacos are out of this world, make sure you grab the grilled onions as well. Service is fast, good selection of beers and margaritas as well! We also had the queso fundito and volcano, will definitely be back!

Even though I just had lunch, I wanted to stop in here to give it a try because of good word-of-mouth reviews of this place. Ordered their Pastor specialty that they are known for, as well as a lemon margarita, and did not disappoint! Fabulous! Please note, the toppings on the tables are NOT replaced fresh for each new customer. Please, no double-dipping😂

Al Pastor tacos were delicious! They came highly recommended from several folks. Quesadilla with chicken was also good. Liked the complimentary salsa options as well. Waited about 45 minutes to get a table. But service was quick and responsive. Tables are a little crowded together. But overall great food!

We waited about 20 Mins at 8pm for a seat! Well worth it! El pastor was amazing! We got the volcano and one taco is enough for most people! One of the best el pastor tacos. It’s a tourist spot but it’s worth it!

Absolutely delicious!! Definitely worth a visit. My brother and I demolished the beef rib tacos and their pineapple pastor volcano tacos. It is cramped, and there's no eating utensils, but ABSOLUTELY worth a visit. Will come back again!

Spectacular as always. Here we go. Another 5 star review of Panchos. I think there could be a tendency after waiting in line for a while, to think that when you sit down you’re going to take your sweet time. It’s my turn now. And here’s the thing, no one at Panchos is going to rush you either. Order as much as you want. Take as long as you need. The food comes so fast and the portions are so big, it’s going to take you a while to eat anyway. Besides, the staff is so busy constantly cleaning and accommodating groups. Panchos is an icon for a reason. Great food, fast, friendly and super clean place to grab the best tacos of your vacation.

5 stars for the food - the tacos al pastor were incredible! Also, the wait wasn’t so bad - we got there early (4:45 pm), and were seated within 30 minutes. However, the service was rushed, which is the reason for 4 stars. They really want to get you out ASAP. I was using a fork/plate and they kept trying to take it. I had two different people ask two different times if they could take it, and the third person snatched it off the table without asking as I was finishing my last bite 😅 I think it only took around 20 minutes to order, get the food, and pay, so it was super fast! Overall, I recommend it. However, I do wish they offered takeaway so you wouldn’t have to contend with the aggressive waiters and could eat at your own pace.

Loaded tacos, but make you sick. We got tacos, tostadas, and one quesadilla. They were all loaded with lots of meat and onions. Maybe not the best tacos in PV, but probably the most generous for the price. 4 stars for the food, minus 1 since it made us sick after (other recent comments said experiencing the same). Not mentioning the ridiculous waiting for a small establishment.

First of all, there is a line and I def recommend waiting in it once while in PV. I waited around an hour and it was worth it 4sure. I feasted as depicted with dos quesadillas. I didn't know haha, finished them! The portions are very generous and you get your money's worth compared to all the tourist traps (most restaurants near the beach 3 to 4X times more - if they speak English know your paying for it) surrounding it. Overall, this went so hard that I will be back. The best times to visit are 4 PM and after hours (post 10 PM), I pass this spot daily :) Cash ONLY, do tIP! Have them Pesos and if you eating at prime time, remember there's a line so keep it moving!

Amazing! Definitely worth the wait in line. At first we ordered too much food. I appreciate that the waiter told us instead of letting us waste our money.

I don't agree with everyone that says these are the best tacos in town but it is very good. Might be the cheapest food in the area considering how much meat they pile on everything. Service was not very friendly or prompt. People were not served in the order they arrived and you will often wait over an hour to get to order. If you arrive before they open to avoid the line, it is worth a try, but I wouldn't wait for it. The total was a bit soggy but can't complain at all about the taco.

Worth the wait. There is a line but it moves fairly quick. Best Al pastor we had in PV. The tacos are HEAVY and loaded with meat, we ordered 3 each and could barely finish them. The margaritas were also huge. Good value, highly recommend!

Some of the best Al pastor tacos I’ve had. We ordered the ones baked with cheese. Delicious salsas! We waited about 30 minutes, and it was totally worth it. Only complaint is that they wouldn’t serve us all the tacos we ordered because they thought it was too much food for us 😂

The best tacos place in zona romantica! Definitely worth the hype and line, come early right when the restaurant opens if you want to avoid a long lineup. Also definitely get the Al pastor if you can eat pork, it is the best tacos ever!! We came here to dine for dinner as a group of 4 people. We got a couple of pancho margaritas, they were delicious and strong, so refreshing to have on a hot day. We ordered the Al pastor with cheese, some beef tacos, and vegetarian tacos like the ones with mushrooms. Everything tasted fantastic, but the most outstanding one was the Al pastor tacos. It might be because the meat for the Al Pastor tacos is slow roasted with charcoal, so the smell and taste is more elevated than the other proteins we picked. The restaurant is older, and there’s a lot of tables in close proximity since they’re looking to maximize the space to serve as many customers at once as possible, which makes sense due to the popularity of the place. Although there was alot of people in the restaurant, they did a great job with ventilation and keeping everyone cool with all the fans they had in the place, so definitely don’t have to worry about it getting too hot. The service was amazing, the place is constantly busy but the staff is quick and efficient. They were friendly, were prompt to take our order, and the food came out quickly. Pancho’s Takos would definitely be a place I visit every time I’m in the area

I know that there a lot of taco spots in PV and yes this place has a line before it opens most nights but there is a reason for that! Probably one of the best meals we had in our two weeks in PV was at Pancho's Takos. Juicy, smoky, sweet, and one of the most flavorful al pastor (pork cooked on a spit) tacos I have ever had. And I have had a few living in Oklahoma and visiting Texas. We also tried the bistec (beef top round) tacos. They were also perfectly cooked and juicy. The tortillas are made fresh with an amazing corn flavor. You are given the opportunity to top your tacos with a few different delicious homemade salsas. The service is fast and you never have a chance to want anything as they are on top of it all. We even tried to order way too much food and our server warned us we would never be able to eat it all so we ordered less. The taco spot is a small place right on the sidewalk but they turn the tables fast so even though the line can be long you don't have to wait forever and sometimes they have someone taking drink orders as you wait. If you are in PV give this place a try I think you will be happy you did.

Super fun experience. The Al Pastor tacos were very flavorful and generous. Three delicious sauces to sample and a smoking hot habanero mango salsa. Guacamole was also delicious. Worth the wait.

It's a must on every trip to Puerto Vallarta. The food is excellent, and even the wait time is entertaining since everyone knows. They are now open at 4 pm, and still, there is a line. Enjoy 😉
