Fresh ingredients that are tastefully arranged. Best dinner of the entire trip! Exceptional fiendly service, made it feel like home. Shef came out and explained what was on the menu. Deserts were on point! Definitely will be back here in the future. If you want to experience some authentic food with amazing flavors and service, this is the spot!

Wanted to give a shout to Barrio Bistro last night. This is our first dedicated trip to Puerto Vallarta. Memo and his staff were so kind and accommodating. It felt very personal as Memo greeted every guest who walked in and seated us himself. We were a family of four with a 3yo and 7yo. The attention they gave to the children made us feel very welcome for a more intimate experience. My husband is vegan so it proves to be an obstacle during travels. They said they had limited options but we found half of their offerings were very close or able to be modified with extra vegetables or fruits. The homemade raicilla was new for us and enjoyed it thoroughly. They brought samples and the presentation of their dishes far exceeded our expectations. I hope Memo and his staff continues to find success and satisfaction in his business. We have a laundry list of restaurants while we’re here but may return before we leave.

Fantastic. Unbelievable gem hidden in some side streets. Chef Memo came around to every table and checked on us. Abby our server was incredibly. She explained each dish because we are American and couldn't read the menu in Spanish. The atmosphere was beautiful. Green lush plants and lights the outdoor garden area is pet friendly and they loved our dogs. The food was incredible. The bread and hummus as an appetizer to the shrimp tostadas that were huge. Enough for two. The Passion Fruit juice was so good I paid to have two large glasses to take home. We will definitely be back. Thanks for a great evening.

We just finished a wonderful dinner here of Osso Buco and hot salad in a molcahete bowl. Our server, Abby gave us some fantastic recommendations and it is a delightful and wonderful place to have dinner. The flavors were totally unique and amazing.

The staff at the restaurant go above and beyond to make this a memorable experience. From Memo himself greeting every table and answering questions, to the very knowledgeable staff who go over every menu item individually so you are well informed. Very unique and farm to table...mostly local produce, beautifully presented and a wide range of options. I would not hesitate to visit this place again and again as a special night out. As the menu changes weekly you will always have the difficult decision of deciding what to have. But don’t worry, it’s all good.

Great service and interesting menu. Loved the soup, hit salad, and chicken entre. Live music was a tad loud for conversation.

If I could dine here daily I would. Hands down the best place to eat and drink by an artisan chef in PV. Memo Wulff does not disappoint.

This place is a gem located minutes from all the main hotels in the hotel zone. They have an open courtyard for dining as well as a bar/pub for inside dining. The staff is so friendly and even the chef comes out to check on you to make sure everything is perfect. It was about 20% pricier than the resort's seafood restaurant we tried, but the food was 1000% better. So definitely well worth it to visit this casual dining establishment. The portions are very big, especially on the appetizers. They offer alcohol, sodas, and aqua fresca for beverages. My favorite dish was the Mac y Pulpo. You would think that octopus mixed with shells, tomatoes, marinara and cheese would be a very odd combination and not tasty. You would be wrong. It was an amazing dish. Even though it's an appetizer, it's entre-sized. They offer live music several times a week. The atmosphere is very laid back and relaxing. It's a wonderful place to have drinks and relax or a large family dinner.

Fabulous restaurant with unique meal choices and fantastic service. It is priced as such as well - so keep that in mind when your dropping 1500-2000p on dinner for two. Forewarned, the wine list doesn’t give you much of a break on the budget either. Food and presentation was top notch tho and they have some unique cocktails and menu items.

Friends and I decided to come here for our last night in PV for my friend's birthday. Food was phenomenal. Service from Sara, Lalo, and the rest of the staff was amazing. Would definitely make the effort to come here again next time I'm vacationing down here.

We had a lovely dinner at Barrio Bistro. The service was great, and they. had a musician playing soft, easy going music that was wonderful to listen to. They have some unique dishes and sauces. Dessert was amazing!!! Both our meals were delicious and we will definitely being going back there.

It was one of the best restaurants in town I experienced so I felt like I was having dinner in Tokyo. The chef even came to us and made sure if the stake was what we like. Super fresh and delicious. The furniture was super artistic. We enjoyed every second.

Barrio is a colorful restaurant with great drinks. However, it did not meet our taste. We ordered some drinks to start, which were pretty tasty (pasion colada and charco de sol). To start, we received a small ceviche tostada as on the house appetizer. This was a very nice detail. It was tasty, but it didn't have a strong ceviche taste. We ordered Mushrooms as an appetizer, they were really great! The portion size was more than decent, and they were really tasty! As the appetizer was great, we had high expectations for the main course. We had fish with pesto and almonds and shrimps with pasta. Unfortunately, we did not like the main courses a lot. The fish (may be because of the type of fish) was very meaty and dry, the pesto with almonds was OK, however the steamed vegetables as sidedish was also not our favorite. The shrimps with pasta reminded us of soup pasta with tomato sauce. It would have been better to have proper pasta like tagliatelle or something else. It felt a bit cheap, and it did not go great with the shrimps. The tomato sauce was really basic, it was just like a plain tomato sauce. The shrimps, however, were cooked great and very tasty. They had live Latin music, which was great! In general it is a nice colorful restaurant, with tasty drinks, well presented food, but in our opinion not very tasty, just ok. We would only come back for drinks, the mushrooms again and the music again!

Beautiful classy colorful restaurant full of plants and art. The ambiance is relaxing and open. The food is very creative and flavorful. I tried some things I've never had before. The portions are large. We had a soup and salad before our entrees and we couldn't finish our food. The prices are nice too! The service is very good bordering on excellent. There might have been some miscommunication. The only feedback I have is please don't package 2 people's food to go together. Seafood and steak don't necessarily go together anyway. People have allergies as well and I didn't want the pasta near my food. That is my only reason for 4 stars and not 5.

This is in the top 10 dining experiences I’ve had in my life! Chef Memo does a fantastic job of bringing local ingredients and flavors and using them in new and inspired ways. I ate here a number of times when I lived nearby. In the past 4 years I’ve thought of this often & was excited to come back. I read that it had changed and I’d heard that it was not as good. I was so pleased to see Chef Memo. Although the atmosphere has changed, the soul of the establishment has not. The drinks are still fresh and delicious. The food is just as beautifully presented and high quality. Where else does the chef come out and meet each guest? If you are looking for the best Insta “scene”, this might not be it. If you are looking for a culinary experience you will still be dreaming of in 4 years, it is.

In a word - Fantastic! Beautiful location, it felt like we were sitting in a lovely garden, fresh herbs growing all around and used in unique cocktails and entree options. Alli and Marco were our servers and they made the entire experience so fun! The menu is always changing as the chef develops new recipes and everything we had was delicious!

The atmosphere is nice, the seating area outside is great and very well decorated. We weren’t impressed with the food. There were too many sauces and elements in the dishes. Not our style of food.
