Really good food and service! Right on the Malicon. Great views of the ocean and sunsets. A bit pricey and you get bothered A LOT by people trying to sell you stuff if you sit close to outside railings. Really didn't like 'constant' interruptions while eating, talking, etc. One parent sent their child in to beg while we're eating. Staff didn't do anything. All that said, it is definitely a very good restaurant just sit away from the railings. Worth a visit!

The food here was amazing and I loved the fact that it was beachside. I ordered the guacamole and pico as an appetizer. The guacamole is prepared in front of you. For the main course, I ordered the club sandwich and I absolutely loved everything about it. The melted cheese was stellar. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a chill spot that overlooks the beach.

We had several dishes but the Ceviche peruano and the rib eye were disappointing. The ceviche didn’t have the sweet potatoes or the corn kernels. The ribeye was ordered medium rare and it was almost fully cooked. The drinks we ordered were good and the customer service was good as well.

We visited during the Thanksgiving holiday of this year and thoroughly enjoyed our experience! There was a live music that night and it was nice and cool beside the water in November. The gentleman that took care of us was so efficient. He also had a bunch of help from the other staff members which I greatly appreciated because everything was taken care of from start to finish. They offered us some specialties that night including some great shrimp and an excellent cut of fish that my mother really enjoyed. I thought my steak didn’t look very appetizing and it ultimately didn’t taste very good either. But I did love the calamari. It’s such a nice size. The ambience was amazing with the music and the waterfront and the lovely decor. I even saw a photograph of Britney Spears in the wall on the wall beside the bathroom! I will definitely be back for some of those delicious margaritas especially the passion fruit one!

Had a great lunch at this popular place in the Malecon. The views, food and service were all wonderful. This was the best molcajete I had in Puerto Vallarta. The price point is a little higher because of the local but the spectacular views and brilliant service more than compensate.

This place will be my go to every time I’m in PV. I ate lunch/dinner here 3 out of my 5 days in PV. Ulises, Pedro and Valentina will take great care of you. Ulises was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations! Must stop for great food and views in PV.

I think this place is overrated. The only really good is atmosphere there: ocean view and nice design inside the restaurant. But if you’re sitting outside and close to fence - everyone will try to sell you something that is absolutely interrupt you chilling there. The service was very slow and it wasn’t even peak hour. Food is just fine.

First time dining here and the food was excellent! We tried the ribeye tacos for an appetizer and I will tell you that this comes with three tacos and it's a very large portion it could actually be an entree. I then went with the full grilled red snapper. This was the best snapper I have had ever! Cocktails were good and the service was amazing!

This place is incredible! You cannot beat the location it is so close to the beach. They even have an AC section. The food is very good and the drinks are strong and very spicy if you want them to be. The servers were very attentive and did everything they could to make sure we had a great experience.

This place was amazing! The food was PHENOMENAL and the atmosphere was impeccable. Our waiter Carlos was extremely friendly and made us feel so welcome. I would recommend the oysters and shrimp pastor tacos… both AMAZING. The margaritas were also delicious. 5/5 experience!

Went with my wife for our anniversary about 1.5 weeks ago. Food was exceptional, huge large shrimps, coctel was good too but the price was high. One thing I did not liked was that when paying, the waiter literally hussled me for more tip. Total price for two was over 2100 pesos or a little over $134 dollars. That right there ruined it for us and never going again.

Amazing food. Christian offered consummated professionalism in service and attention. The Jamaican Love cocktail, the chicken tortilla soup, the lobster tail and filet were all divine

Great location on the water. Had an excellent Mexican breakfast with the flank steak cooked to perfection. Manny the waiter looked after us and their knowledge of English also made it easy. Highly recommend.

Tonight we ate here and let me tell you, this place is top notch. From the service to the atmosphere to the food. First of all our server ulises is the most amazing waiter. Since I have been in PV. he has by far best the best server I've had and I've ate out every night for 2 weeks. All the staff are fantastic but I highly recommend asking for Ulises and sit in his section. He sold me on the blue shrimp and OMG it was to die for. If you come here. Spend the money and get the blue shrimp. 🤤 The Mahi Mahi is also amazing.

This place had amazing food, I had the Shrimp Lovers with the Blue shrimp and then the lemon cheesecake. The service was excellent and the view was beautiful. This was one of the best highlights of the trip and when I come back to Puerto Vallarta I will be coming back again!

Delicious, fresh food, giant shrimps, and a great location right on the beach in central Puerto Vallarta! Staff were friendly and attentive and the prices were reasonable.

The location is beautiful and right on the beach. The food was sub-par. The drinks were delicious. The service was okay. He forgot about us a couple times. He was very apologetic and kind though. For me I feel this place is a tad over priced as you can get some very similar foods and drinks for half the price at other restaurants near by. Maybe it is popular because of the movie stars that have visited the establishment and perhaps if I was a movie star my food and service would have been better. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful inside.

The Blue Shrimp Puerto Vallarta was an experience. It was located right on the beach, and in some cases, we watched the ocean flow under the beach tables. We were glad we had a view of the ocean, not the experience of feeling it creep up on us. Atmosphere is great I have multiple pictures of the decorations. I loved the mermaid, sea animals and shells all over the place. There was even an area boasting "air conditioning" we came to see the beach not be in a sealed room. I am sure some people would prefer the cold air. The food was fine. There was a basket of dinner rolls and some butter that was delivered to the table. It was a roll, not warm but had a heavy feeling after eating. I had popcorn shrimp, and they were very good, but not filling. It was served with a slightly spicy sweet dip, and the second was like a tarter sauce that was more spicy. Both delicious. So I tried everyone else's foods too. I tried a Baked Shrimp Lasagna from the group, it was all right. My brain was very confused with the textures: baby vegetables, marinara, and shrimp in my mouth so I couldn't process it very well. It also seemed to sit heavily my sister's companion also agreed. My niece ordered Linguine Frutti Di Mare (a seafood pasta and left out: octopus, calamari, and muscles). So it was a shrimp linguine with cream sauce. 😋 Surprisingly, it was very good. However, it was not discounted for less sea food. I ate probably a quarter of that dish, it was mostly noodles and sauce. The last item was the biggest item on our ticket: Caribbean Lobster Tail cooked in the house sauce (garlic and butter). The rice was good, as were the vegetables, but I thought the lobster was chewy. My sister ate it, not the best or worst she ever had middle of the road. We did order drinks 🍸 and they were disappointed. They were supposed to be blended and all of them had giant ice chunks in them. We also ended up with 2 alcohol free Strawberry da queries when we wanted the alcohol in them. So there must have been a misunderstanding with the broken translations. When we arrived we all ordered water and of course it was bottled water which added up more than was expected. So, lesson learned: ask how much water is before saying "yes we will all have water to start" being 4 or 5 bottles before drinks 🍸. It was a fine one time experience, I will not be going back next time I am in Puerto Vallarta. It was very expensive for my taste.

This place is right by the beach in Zona Romantica, Puerto Vallarta so expect a higher price point. Still, the service was excellent and the food pretty good. The ocean view and fresh sea breeze are really relaxing after a long flight. Recommend that you visit one of these beach side restaurants at least once while in Vallarta. There are more cost effective options the further you get from the ocean.

This place is AMAZING! Polo and Melissa took such great care of us. They made us feel welcomed, they were super friendly and attentive. We had the shrimp tacos al pastor and the fish tacos. We couldn’t decide which one was better, they were both mouth watering good.

The food, the service and the sunset were all amazing. Had the ribeye steak and it's was cooked to perfection. I believe the waiter was Pedro and was on top of his game! You'll definitely want to check out this place.

Didn't actually eat there but we did have drinks. We had drinks out on the beach and it was beautiful. There was a light breeze and it felt really nice. Had a great time

What a great experience we all had! The food was delicious and they even make the guacamole and Caesar salad by the table side! Polo, our waiter was amazing and the atmosphere is excellent. No wonder so many celebrities came here to have a meal. We even saw some whales breaching out of the water in the distance! I highly recommend this amazing restaurant!

I always visit The Blue Shrimp at least once per visit while in Puerto Vallarta. The open and airy restaurant make for a great date night, dinner, or gathering as the friendly and accommodating staff present the freshest catch to you, coupled with the daily cocktails. Their snapper is always top notch and impressive. You will not be disappointed! Also the table side caesar salad brought back memories of my first time going to PV. Check it out you can!!

Brilliant service - so friendly and attentive. Great view of the beach. Comfy surroundings - come hungry as the serving sizes are generous. I’d never had a shrimp lasagne before and it was tasty and rich. I googled best calamari in PV and found this place and it definitely was very good. Some of the food is served and made in front of you which makes for an entertaining meal. We can’t really fault the service - again very impressive. Manny was a superstar - he deserves a pay rise - charming and an expert at his job.

AMAZING food hands down. (Pictures are shrimp lasagna, whole fried snapper, whole lobster tail and a really good sangria) they're a little on the pricey side but it's worth it for the food quality. They bring out their cuts of steak and their fresh seafood for you to see options, portions, and over all what you're gonna be getting.

Sooooo good. I'm making all my dates take me here 😂🎉 best lobster and shrimps I've ever had. The Portuguese shrimp...wow Joseph is an amazing waiter. All the staff was great! Absolutely beautiful experience! I've been back a few times with dates and friends as this is my favorite spot in Puerto Vallarta ❤️

This is an awesome restaurant on the beach. We ordered the giant shrimp and they did not disappoint. Oscar and Carlos took excellent care of us. We will definitely return again the next time we are in Puerto Vallarta.

Delicious margaritas, steak fajitas and dessert (flan) located right off the beach. Attentive service and nice dining experience. It’s Highly recommended and worth a try.

This is a decent “premium” more expensive beach front location. The loungers have a minimum spend of $500 pesos. Service can be slow - however the food is good. There are definitely cheaper and very similar restaurants right around this one. Only major plus would be the cushions on the loungers.
