the food is pretty good but pricy. fajitas could use more seasoning but hit the spot after a long flight. my wife loved the vegetarian fajitas, so thanks for having these options! also liked that there was outside seating.

I’ve eaten better bland fish poop. Need I say more. What a disappointment. I can slap a piece of fish on grill, throw some salt and it will have better flavor. Two stars as the fish was fresh and the boiled vegetables tasty! LOL

I had a shrimp burrito and my wife had breaded fish. Her fish was excellent and I had a Marlin ceviche that was great. My burrito was good but seemed to have more octopus than shrimp in it. My bottle of Pacifico was not very cold and the service was slow even though they weren't that busy. Prices are average.

Great local place for seafood!!! They have a full variety of fish to choose from: salmon, red snapper, tuna and seabass. They also offer clams, mussels, different sizes of shrimp as well as crabs and lobster. You can have it prepared anyway you want with different options and sauces to choose from. The prices are very reasonable and the service is topnotch.

Good for seafood , lobster was very expensive but other seafood items are very reasonably priced. Would recommend beer 🍺 or bottled water for drinks. Service was good. The photo attached is mixed seafood in double cream sauce tasted exactly like the seafood cooked in butter chicken sauce highly recommend this menu item as it had crab, fish, prawn, mussel , shrimp etc.

I am not one for seafood but I would absolutely eat here again. This is one of my 2 must try’s while in Vallarta. I had the shrimp Alfredo and crabs and it was enough for at least 2 people to share

We came thinking it was the same as Cuetos, they advertise themselves as served by Cueto Family, however the experience has nothing to do. Plates are not as tasteful, the service is just meh and even the water is not fresh, they use packed juice or flavors. The fish tray looks like Cuetos so maybe there is something there

Santos Mariscos Seafood restaurant offers a variety of great tasting dishes, predominantly seafood. Great decor abounds at Santos Mariscos Seafood, plenty of options for seating and an attentive & friendly staff The "horchata" drinks were amazing... The dishes were excellent, definitely plan on a second visit! 👍👍

A really great meal. If you like seafood this is a great place for very good reasonable priced fresh seafood. There are many non seafood dishes as well for those that don't eat fresh fish and seafood. We had the Alfredo and shrimp pasta and the whole red snapper. Both excellent. Nice touch with a tequila or Kaluha (sp?) After dinner drink on the house. The wait staff are exceptional with great recommendations. Highly recommend this place. Look forward to returning.

This is a MUST STOP FOR GARLIC LOBSTER..I have eaten lobster in many places. But this joint has flavor like you have never had before! They bring you the fish and lobster of the day to view then they bring you back a plate of heaven with garlic cooked all over it. I would of ordered another plate had we had time. The fish kabob with shrimp was off the hook. Rice was amazing. And vegetables went right along with the seafood. Everything was perfect 🥰. We got our ice cream cups to go, also yummy! But If you love garlic this is the place, but they do have other flavors.. clean, great service. I might have to go back before we go back to the states.

The reviews were mixed on this and we know why. Some dishes were flawless (the crab claws and fresh lobster) and others were overcooked or poorly executed (red snapper for 1 that we each got). The restaurant was empty other than us so it wasn't because of being busy. The coconut shrimp were huge but literally had so much breading you couldn't taste the shrimp. Service was good, prices were fair. Just wish the snapper dishes weren't overcooked. 3stars because it has potential but for the money I'm taking a cab ride to Titis 10 minutes the other direction.

Lobsters, red snapper, shrimp, and calamari are served to your liking in one big tray - this will make your culinary experience. We had an enjoyable experience at what some might not expect from “an open-air” restaurant. Everything had great flavor and huge portions. “The seafood for two” is the way to go. Now, Santos is Not inexpensive, but also what you get is reasonable for the area. From the coconut shrimp to grilled red snappers, everything seemed well thought out and nicely executed. We are happy to recommend everyone!

Came on a Fri lunch as it was recommended by the hotel we stayed at in driving distance. Overall it was a good experience. Amicable staff and wait time for food was 5-10 minutes. The ceiling fans keep the area cool. It was not busy at all with only a family eating upon arrival. The shrimp were great with the sauce served. Vuelva La Vida was not too good. The tacos de marlin were disappointing. The arrachera fajitas were okay. The tortillas were lacking flavor and not cooked completely and overall were bland. The sangria (with lemonade) was a great addition.

Just to start the food was good. But took one hour and 10 minutes to get our appetizer. It took a hour and a half to get the last of our food. After a hour I canceled mine. I was so done. Vegetable Fajitas does not take over a hour to make. The other plates were good but not worth the wait for me.

Had a fantastic dinner here tonight with my wife. I got the shrimp fajitas and she had the whole grilled fish. Both of our dishes were great. They even gave me a shot of tequila on the house after we finished our meal. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a good seafood place in PV.

Some of the best priced seafood I've ever had. The quality was great, and the seafood was fresh. Like super fresh. We got the red snapper and crab legs. By far some of the best fish I've ever had. Highly recommend the Vallarta style for the fish. Definitely will be coming back.

Service and portions along with prices were good. However the same night after eating at the place both me and my girlfriend got a bad food poisoning. We ordered the shrimp soup and the mixed seafood dish. The seasoning covered the food's poor freshness. I suppose that the price of the dish was kind of cheap due to them using the leftovers of not so fresh fish and heavily seasoning it to cover up the bad quality. Overall the service, portions, and prices were fine. But I wouldn't recommend trying the place due to the risk it poses for the health.

If you are ever fishing in Puerto Vallarta and decide you want to take some of your fish to a restaurant for them to cook it for you, Santos Mariscos is the place to go. Great service and great food. My partner and I took our Yellowfin Tuna here that we had caught & we had the best drinks, ceviche, sashimi and Tuna steaks that they had prepared for us. We came back a different night and the food they have on their menu is great as well. We will definitely be coming back with or without fish! 😋 Thank you!

Delicious seafood!! Fresh, satisfying, and doesn't leave you with a salt hangover. Friendly staff as well. Fancier restaurant vibe but prices weren't bad at all.

Run, don't walk. Delightful unpretentious, conveniently located restaurant. Outstanding seafood ( not to mention the mango ice cream) and service.

Recommended to us on the street and we were wowed by the food! Delicious and reasonably priced. Try the pineapple dish - to die for! Margaritas amazing too.

Food was great. We had the seafood dinner for 2 which was on the expensive side for what we ordered. Unfortunately I never got the water I asked for several times. The coffee took awhile to make one cup and our lobster with our dinner was the cheaper lobster. We were not asked if we wanted something else to drink. Recommend going later in the evening when there is no construction noise. Lovely open air restaurant and everything was wonderful tasting.

Ordered the shrimp plate they did not devein the shrimp and it was a different size than what was displayed. The salmon was pretty good. The service was decent priced a little higher for the quality of food.

Went here for dinner with my wife while in PV and we enjoyed our dinner and service. It wasn’t a busy night and we were helped by Luis. I told him I wanted soup and he recommended the sopa de mariscos “levanta muertos” and also the aguachile with medium spice and my wife got the shrimp and octopus al ajillos. We really enjoyed all our dishes!
