Always delicious, always clean, good service and EXCELLENT prices. Truly a Mexican dining experience. Don't forget to ask about the delicious Huachinango from the grill. Fabulous -- but you definitely need to share it ‼️

When I travel to PVR I always look forward to eating dinner here. My trip next month I get to bring my kids and they can experience it now. The food is always fresh, and service is fantastic. If you're wanting a gem that the locals go to then look no more! I'll be seeing yall soon!

Love this place. Amazing seafood and very reasonable prices. Great family restaurant and you always get great service. I love that it's obviously family owned and they go out of their way with little extras to make you feel welcome.

This place was awesome!! We ordered the platter that has a little bit if everything then the waiter started to walk away. I said "Sir! My husband wanted to order a dish too" he said "are you sure?! That's a lot of food!!" He talked us out of it and we were like geezz I hope it's enough we're starving and there's 4 of us. My God, when we got the platter we were embarrassed we tried ordering another additional dish. It was soooo much food, we couldn't finish eat half of it. And it was only $50. Would definitely recommend and go back.

Had an excellent evening having just about the best seafood one can buy in the area. Love the traditional Mexican setting, and the reasonable prices. If you’re one to avoid tourist traps like the plague, this is the place for you. Also, the service was excellent. I’d like to specifically thank our waiter José Vargas for his attention, food suggestions and just overall great energy. We will definitely come back before our trip is over. Thank you all for everything!!!

Pet friendly. Loud. Literally right next to a busy street by Home Depot. Food was okay. Waiter kept disappearing. Bathrooms were clean and huge. Beautiful bathroom. Good food for the price. Cash only though so make sure you bring enough.

Mauricios is my favorite restaurant in Vallarta. The Guchi Guchi shrimp is the best there is & its the only place to get! They have a nice platter that serves 6 also. It's been my favorite restaurant before they got a tile floor. it used to be a dirt floor & chickens were usually around. lol the traffic is noisy but the music drowns it out. :_). sometime inconsistent with food but always spot on with my Guchi Guchi Shrimp! cash only.

This place is awesome ! This is not the fanciest restaurant on the area, but trust me, you won't get disappointed. As soon as you get your table in Mauricios, the kind waiter will give you a free shot of tequila and cup shrimp soup. In case you have to wait (very crowded plaze between 14:00 and 16:00 hr approx) they'll give you a free ceviche tostada with soda or even a beer. FOR FREE! Just for waiting. Cool. The food is delicious and affordable, the service is really good. After meals, the waiter brought us a shot of kahlua and fried sweet banana for dessert. Thanks! On the top of all; right before leave the restaurant at the exit they offer you a local seasson's fruit. (It can be mango, pineapple). Thanks again! I go to Mauricios every time I'm near by the Riviera Nayarit, Nuevo Vallarta or Puerto Vallarta; sometimes even twice in the same trip.

The food was good. I just don't give 5 stars because the the taste of the dishes and the ingredients are so similar among them.

Fantastic seafood Service is a bit slow, so make sure you are not in any rush; on the other hand, in addition to your meal, the servers keep bringing you snacks (at no cost) like shrimp broth, bean tacos, fried plantain, etc. Cash only, so come prepared

Arrived while they were getting ready for closing, but everybody was extremely nice, great service, never made us feel rushed and even got together some ceviche that wasn't available usually at that time of night, from what I understood. The food was excellent in taste, large portions and great value. I will definitely be going back again

Horrible!!! We were there last week and we had to wait for like an hour to get seated. Then the service was slow they hardly came to check on us, once we placed the food order all the plates came at different times, my husband got his first, then my son and at the end myself, but part of my dish wasn't even on the plate and they wanted me to pay for something I didn't even get. We have eaten here before and their serving size is very generous, this time I barely got any fish and the shrimps were so salty. My suggestion, try another place. We are definitely never coming back.

We were at Mauricio’s 5 years ago and then had a delicious meal soo this time we came back to puertta Vallarta we went back to Mauricio’s big mistake the quality of the food went down hill and the amount of flies was unbelievable but I have to say we had a very nice young waiter that did all he could to easy the problem with the storm of flies he brought a fan close to the table to scare the flies away it helped some but still a lot of flies left soo between the food being tasteless and the flies we will never again go back to Mauricio’s

Everything was delicious, the guacamole, the bbq ribs, the shrimp, the fish fillet but we had to wait over 40 minutes for the pineapple water. They also give you shrimp broth, fried bananas and some coffee with 'piquete' as courtesy. The waiter was very nice but the person making drinks extremely slow. I still recommend it, just be very patient!
