They have gluten free pasta. The staff was super aware and made a point to check and re check the Ingredients on everything we ordered. The pasta was home made and fresh. The wine, atmosphere outdoors and overall, experience were superb ♥️🙏 Special thank you to Herman and Lugenio 😊

Best Italian food on the boardwalk. Just arrived Norwegian Cruise Line & came across this cozy little bar-restaurant. We originally stopped for 2 x margaritas then checked out the menu. Drinks and food were really good! Best customer service & views were amazing.

How can you not like their location, food and service?! This local restaurant has everything you could desire on the Italian man. Great service with a view of the sunset. I stop in every time I’m in PV!

My wife and I had dinner at La Dolce Vita Malecon based on the recommendation of a friend who recommended the fresh, house-made pasta. The ambiance was what one would expect in a high tourist area. The restaurant was busy. The staff was efficient. We were hoping the food and service would make the lack of ambiance. We melon and prosciutto for a shared appetizer, followed by the fresh tagliatelle with meat sauce for dinner. The portions were a good size. The food was fresh and we enjoyed our meal. However for us the food didn't make up for the lack of ambiance and the restaurant's touristy vibe.

This is the Italian food you've been craving! Always excellent high quality food and incredible customer service.

We've been here several times over the years and always felt it was excellent food and service. This time we were disappointed.. the food was just ok.. the service and atmosphere is still great. We'll try it again next time we are in Puerto Vallarta

The place is nice to cool off. It's not that spacious, but they have some extension outside. The food I had, which was Chicken Mediterranean, was not that great. I wish the vegetables were cooked well because the chicken breast wasn't tender. I wish it's a little bit tender. But, the mashed potato was really good. I enjoyed eating the Burscetta (I forgot the spelling, but it's a toasted bread with tomatoes on top😂) a lot. The taste was really great. In terms of the price, it's reasonable. However, the water served to me was too pricey. I wished they just served me a service water. I didn't know that it's more expensive than the iced tea. (Take Note: the brand of the ware was not Fiji nor Evian 😅) Overall, it is still an okay experience.

All our past and present visits have been excellent. Most recently had Caprese salad, LaDolce Vita pizza, and gelato for dessert. Excellent pairing. Highly recommend this location, with a view of the sea.

I know what are we doing at an Italian restaurant in the heart of the Malecòn? Easy, it's delicious. Everything is made in house. I highly recommend that at least one member of your table order the homemade pasta. We haven't tried the pizza yet but watched several of them pass by our table. Asked our server about carry out pizza and he told us it only takes them about ten minutes. Good to know. Really great Italian food. Authentic atmosphere with a superb staff always hustling for their guests.

I had the seafood pasta special. The pasta and sauce were alright. The crab was so overcooked that there was no meat left inside the shell. The service was very good, as was the price. The calamari had good flavor but was also overcooked and a little rubbery. The view and atmosphere was also great.

This is a fabulous spot for a family lunch or dinner. It is right on the Malecon. It offers a cool break with a gorgeous view. The restaurant does not have a kids menu, but it is very easy for kids to order from the main menu. The dishes offer a back to basic Italian focus with exceptional seafood options. The drinks are basic and served at a great price point. It's a perfect break during a visit to the malecon.

We never get tired of pizza. We have it in every country we visit. The pizza at La Dolce Vita is the best comfort food at a great price point. Just the right size for 2 people. We went there 3 times in 3 weeks. Always piping hot and delicious.

Excellent place to eat Food is always great. Our waiter was fair at best. He was too busy attending to everybody else so he kind of forgot about us I had to keep bothering him to get more drinks I had to keep bothering him for bread. I was not happy with the service

Both the Veal and the Chicken Breast were overcooked and extremely dry. I ate a few pieces of my Chicken and gave my husband a large piece to try. He had a couple of bites then discarded it. I left more than one half of the Chicken on my plate uneaten. My husband ate one of his thinly pounded Veal portions and left the rest on the plate. The Bruschetta appetizer and pasta in tomato sauce was good. The Rose Wine was exceptional. Our waiter was excellent. The posted menu here is old, so some of the prices have increased.

This place is Solid! It's the original LA Dolce Vita which opened 30 years ago. There is a new one in the Romantic zone as well. Excellent Italian food at a very reasonable price 👌 I'll definitely be back!

My brother in law recommended this restaurant and was not disappointed!! I enjoyed celebrating my birthday here. They do the cutest thing for you!! Food was delish! Waitstaff was excellent! Will def stop by again next time I'm in PV!

Probably the best and most authentic Italian spots in PV. I have been coming to this place on and off for the last 10 years when visiting Mexico, and it's simply because this place is the best. The staff are always super friendly, 10/10 customer service and 15/10 food.

We only took a quick break at La Dolce while touring the downtown area. We ordered some drinks and appetizers, and we were impressed. The bruschetta is light and crisp, covered in deep red tomatoes and full of fresh flavor. Perfect! The service is friendly and top notch. Give them a try!

We came here by chance and it was a great discovery. Very friendly and welcoming staff. We were early so we got a table by the window. Perfect for people watching and enjoying the waterfront. I took the recommendation and ordered their seafood pasta. It was one of the best I’ve had. Seafood was fresh and the spaghetti al dente. Just the right amount of seasoning. Margarita was nice too. And the cappuccino was the best, according to one of their staff anyway. We will come back when we’re in Puerto Vallarta next time!

Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had, incredible food and ambiance!

I really appreciated my meal here. They were able to easily accommodate my gluten and dairy food allergies. Highly recommend the gluten free pasta with clams and wine sauce. Delicious!

The restaurant has a great and fast service. We had 2 pizzas, margaritas, and the local beers. Pizzas were absolutely amazing and the brownie desert as well. Nice staf. Not cheap though, but overall a good experience.

It's my second time at this restaurant, food is consistently good. This time I had a salad and pizza. I ordered the pizza half ham and the other half 4 cheese. It's great to be able to mix different pizza in one. I had a sangria, it could have a bit more wine vs sprite and lemon juice.

Absolutely delicious pasta, wonderful view of the ocean, incredible service, and the tiramisu is to die for.
