Absolutely spectacular!!! The food and service are beyond expectations!! Staff is interested in what you want and will do anything to make your dining experience unforgettable. This chef should be winning the biggest award. The staff is beyond attentive. It might take a little longer wait for your meal, but we’ll worth it. My sincere and warmest thank you to everyone at Los Alcatraces. Good luck to all, keep up the great customer service 😉 So long….

We walked over to this place from our hotel in the Marina and it was recommended by a couple we met at the pool. Took a while to get seated then forever to even put in an order. Marg was rough, no water or chips and salsa. After an hour we gave up entirely on our meal and left. Will never go again.

Had a great meal and service here! They serve authentic Mexican food in an enjoyable atmosphere. The seafood Molcajete and chile rellenos portions were huge and delicious! The salad that I had to start was very fresh and a large portion as well. The cream of poblano soup that hubby ordered was excellent.

Love this little Mexican breakfast spot in Nuevo Vallarta. Always generous portions (you gnome how much a love to eat), the outside dining area is vibrant, and the service is impeccable. This is also clearly a favorite for local residents. They accept cash & card (always worth noting as not all places accept card) For reference we had the hotcakes (natural) $89 and The Alacatraces $168. If you're in the area, check it out. And tell them the gnome sent you!

Honestly I go there because of their Mexican sweet bread and coffee, but the food is good too, the portions are huge though

We shared delicious chicken nachos with icy cold beers. It was perfect with a view of the marina and great people watching. Can't wait to return!

The chilaquiles were 10/10. I'm vegan so ordered chilaquiles sencillos sin queso and it was still delicious. The mole in particular was standout. It was busy. but not that long of a wait. I can't speak to other food, but I highly recommend the chilaquiles.

We ate at the Marina and it was fun. Beautiful views. The chips and salsa was hot for. I had Cameron pasta and my girlfriend had fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. It was not bad. The Calamari was over cooked.

Amazing!!!!! Chile Relleno was probably the best I’ve ever had! So much freaking flavor! I added beef to mine. My husband got the seafood molcajeta and Wowza!!!! We are stuffed, but want to keep eating! I’m beyond impressed and this exceeded my expectations x 100000000%. Alex aka Benny is amazing! Highly highly highly recommend!

Wish this place was open more....we walked on the marina everyday for 8 days.....it's hours were random....closed during dinner and lunch....then the next day open for dinner....then only opened for lunch....2 days we saw it was open for breakfast only....our last day it was open for breakfast so we decided to try it as everytime we walked by and it was open, it was busy! So we had to try it! We both had chilequiles with red sauce, and I added scrambled eggs on top....it came with beans and a roasted chili. Everything tasted so good! Good food, good service, fast and good views! Plus there was an alligator out front!

Very middling experience. Modest quality did and service. They say they take credit cards, but in practice... you need to bring cash. Plenty of options whether or not you're into local cuisine.

The restaurant is right next to the marina so you have a pretty view. They have 2X1 drink specials on their house drinks like margaritas, pina coladas, etc. we got lime, strawberry and mango margaritas with some nachos. It all tasted fine but we both felt ill after. Don’t know if it was the drinks or food or some other factor from our day. But overall it was a good experience and the blended salsa was good
