This place is amazing. The food was delicious, some of the best carnitas I've ever had, and no sour cream in sight. Thank God for that. The people were so friendly, they day was so hot that I showed up without a shirt and they were cool with it. Would definitely go back in a heartbeat. GRACIAS!!!!

The torta options were simple yet delish. Plenty seating. Restroom and washing of hand options separately. Food does run out so be cautious before going out or be there before 3pm. It is all open air eating only, either outside or indoors with an open space.

As a Tapatío, I can confirm that these are great Tortas Ahogadas in Puerto Vallarta. The bread is fresh and crunchy, the meat is lean and fresh, and the service is excellent! Recommended…

The food was good the tortas ahogadas are still missing something in the sauce so don't expect the same taste as Guadalajara but still very good the prices are good and the other selections are delicious

Another must do in Puerta Vallarta is the "Vallarta by Road Food Tour" this was stop #2 a great carnitas sandwich dunk in a sauce, so good!

Want an authentic Mexican food experience that will expand your view of traditional Mexican cuisine? This is the place! The torta ahorga was terrific...after ever bite, I realized I would make a "hmm" sound...a dead giveaway of how surprisingly great each dunken bite of this sandwich was. If in Pto Vallarta, do yourself a favor and check this place out. The food, the people, and the atmosphere were truly amazing!

If your ever around town and would like to have a classic jalisco torta, it's one of the places to come, a little bit sketchy to get here but completely safe . Don't hesitate to come by . You'll enjoy the tender meat and the flavor is exquisite.

Awesome food. We tried many restaurants while visiting Puerto Vallarta and this was one of our favorites. Nice open area for dinning. Staff was patient and friendly. One of our highlights to our trip.
