This is the place to eat breakfast and dinner. The food is always great and the service is beyond excellent. Their are two waiters who really excel that is Julio and Enrique. Julio at night and Enrique in the morning. The whole staff shines and they go out of their way to make you happy. Enjoy!

We're spoiled by the food & service we receive when we go to Andreas. For breakfast & lunch, we were served wonderfully by Jorge & Axel. Dinners we always asked for Omar or "the Julios." They became friends we look forward to seeing every time we're at Velas Vallarta. They pay attention to detail so much that they can anticipate our needs before we even ask. It's always a delight to go to Andreas!!

Good ambience. Service was excellent. We like spicy food and the waiter went above & beyond to raise the bar on that dimension. The wine was also excellent. Food (tacos, quesadilla) was above average. Overall, a good experience at a very reasonable price. We will go back again.

Fish tacos were tasty. Presentation was pretty basic. Not a bad meal, but not a fancy high end restaurant. For example, the restaurants at the grand velas are a lot nicer.

My fish was excellent, my GF pasta not so much. However, I'm giving 5 star's because the service was so good and the wait staff was so attentive I'd come her again. Enrique was out waiter, and his customer service was outstanding. Note, don't come here when it's "Italian ' night, come to Andrea when they serve more traditional food.

Cocktail was okay, food was very very bad. Very dry fish, Chicken, all meat was bad. Buffet was good. For the price, this is a complete scam.

We were here over Christmas, it was very difficult to get in, reservations are required, and they will only accept same day reservations. I figured it out, you need to call the minute they open in the morning, wait on hold for 10 minutes, and we finally got our reservation. The service was pretty good, the food was not. It seems they try hard, but I don't think they really understand what they are doing in the kitchen.

Food quality is amazing, we stayed at the hotel and enjoyed their delicious dinner every night. Super friendly staff and great atmosphere, chicken, steak and shrimps were all amazing, their deserts are top notch. This place is a hidden gem in Puerto Vallarta.

At first, when I walked in, I was a tad disappointed that the restaurant bad a buffet bar for salad/soup, appetizers and desserts. Oh, how common, I thought. Then, I was presented with the menu. Then, I selected two main dishes. Then, I proceeded to the salad bar. Then. I was stunned... because of how delicious each morsel of everything from the buffet bars tasted! Then I tasted the two main dishes, 1. Chamorro and 2. Tamales. Not your everyday Chamorro or Tamales, the first a Veal Hock, and the second, the almost mousse-like, softest a d tastiest corn masa ever! They were both absolutely delightful. This was a rare, surreal occasion for me, when one gets a glimpse of what truly skillful chefs can produce. I am not sure whether this restaurant is always this good (although I am told it is), or that this was its only day that everything aligned perfectly in the kitchen. Regardless, I must say, I am almost afraid to go back and find out that this gastronomical dream will not repeat. But I would recommend all who yearn to find that delicate balance of heavenly senses, to give this restaurant a try. When you do, I most sincerely wish your tastebuds the same luck mine were gifted with today!

Update 1/16/23 The pandemic restrictions are gone and the food has gotten better. Service on par property at 89% occupancy, took us 1.5 hours to catch our ride to property after clearing immigration. Back to the food, tonight was French cuisine, absolutely excellent. My wife had her favorite the Mexican coffee for dessert, extra whip cream. Christina and Julio recognize us, makes me feel really welcome. Great food served hot and upscale. We had salmon Sicilian style, cooked perfectly, with veggies. Love this place.

The breakfast was good. Dinner not so much....they don't realize we want authentic Mexican cuisine....they cater too much to Americans....food had no flavor. Impeccable service, friendly and very attentive. Again... breakfast was delicious.

This caliber of dining should be able to WOW you...it didn't. Maybe it's what we ordered...but there was 5 in our group that all felt it was ok. It reminds me of Cruise ship food.

Presentation of food items are beautiful but lacks flavor in most dishes. Friendly service.
