I've been to nine Bubba Gumps in total in my time, unfortunately this was my worst experience by far. I opted for my regular go-to shrimpers heaven which was a huge disappointment and letdown. The portion size is literally a third at best of what I've had at every other branch, yet the menu shows the original design of the dish and whilst the chain tries to hide the stingy plate of food behind a "design rechange". A non-plentiful main to share, side salad and side of mash potatoes for over $80 dollars CAD? I'll avoid Bubba Gumps from now on to be honest, it seems they've become more than money obsessed and I refuse to rinse my cash there anymore. The grub is tasty and after I raised concern, the nice manager did give us a few (literally) more shrimps, but is still no way worth it at all.

For an airport restaurant we were pleasantly surprised by our experience. The service was shockingly fast. Many airport restaurants don’t appreciate that their clients have to catch flights. These guys were on top of the food, drinks and bill. Everything was good but I did take off a star as I don’t love the food. A lot of it is fried. If you like the menu though.... the experience will be great. It’s more of a personal presence thing.

something shady is going on at this location!!! Puerto Vallarta restaurant Airport. I was not the only one, it have happened to other customers. when the bill came, we payed by credit card using our pin number. waiter said that the payment of $74.55 did not go through and that he will try again. the second time he tried, it did go through by tapping the card. as I was checking my credit cad statement I realized that indeed both payment did go through, how ever the payment were not the same. the second payment was $85.73 at this time were disputing this charge with our bank. my advice pay by cash and do not take the sever word! very untrusting!!!!

Coconut shrimp and surf & turf were ok. Service is excellent though and so were the cocktails!

One burger, side of fries, one 22oz pint of beer and a diet coke ended up costing $85 CAD. Absolutely insane pricing. Fine dining prices for a fast food burger.

Honestly it’s a table with zero a/c. Fried food that is questionable meaning no flavor and not even sure I had a shrimp in my breading, microwaved burgers my kid wouldn’t even eat and it was by far the worst and the most expensive meal we had in Mexico. I understand I’m at an airport but seriously would have been cheaper in the US and would have tasted better. Bubba Gump you should be ashamed of how terrible your food is and you sell tshirts so people can get reminded of being ripped off. ??!!! I have never felt the need to leave a review for an airport restaurant before now. I should have looked more closely at the prices before we came in but for $100 bucks I should have the best darn burgers around and your mayo was yellow. I just could not even eat it. Gross seriously 🤮 the service was friendly and good though! Only thing I could give a 5 star for also I got to have a seat outside of the crowd so you got 3 stars for having a table Also your almost 500 pesos drink tasted like watered down Pepsi That’s it - horrible horrible

Unlike another reviewer I found it nice in there and not "hella hot" as he says. Unlike other locations, the menu is small and no apple pecan/feta salad staple I like! I ordered the fried chicken and was good. Prices are heavy though to know and note! NO trivia like all other locations! You cannot gain any Bubba Gump points either off my card I have! Our server was friendly enough but not engaging at all! Was different. The language barrier is in effect here too a bit. Will go with an average score this time.

If you want air-conditioning do not come here. Place is Hella hot. The prices are pretty outrageous for the quality of food. The Cajun chicken is absolutely disgusting as well as the gravy. The gravy has zero flavor I think its flour and water with salt and pepper. The shrimp apply is delicious.

On our way home from Guyabidos, flying out of PVR we stopped for an early dinner. My husband had the Chicken sandwich & I had the Boston Clam Chowder. The service was fantastic, everyone was so friendly. The restaurant was clean & the food was great. They take USD & Pesos.

The only thing I can say is Wow! about the help at this busy as all get out restaurant. They were friendly, curious and efficient. The food was average and the place was really loud, but the service was well worth the visit. They seated us fast, and the food and drinks came fast, and we caught our flight. Maybe don't have the 32 ounce beer before your 6 hour flight home......

Very loud, typical airport restaurant. Food was ok. Had soup and salad. Had not been in a Bubba Gump for quite a while and was somewhat disappointed in the quality of the food. My favorite Bubba is the one on kona Hawaii. What a difference.

You could go to Vidanta, have a lobster meal, and it would be cheaper. A michelada/iced pint of draft beer is 16USD. This place should be outlawed by the state of Jalisco for bad business practices, unless it’s a final “F U” to departing tourists. The sodium, butter, and cholesterol level of every item on the menu is so aggressive that if you order deserts, you should be given a free consultation with a cardiologist. Shame on the owners, shame on the managers, shame on you if you’re dumb enough to go back to this place.

Food & drinks were good. Had the cajun shrimp appetizer with garlic bread and some fries. The garlic bread nicely complimented the garlic sauce. Finished it all off with some key lime pie which had a nice (not too) tart flavor. Also their passion fruit margaritas were good. Forgot to take pictures.

Great service, and the chowder was okay. Broiled shrimp was fabulous- I just had a side of garlic butter on the side. I was glad I did, the shrimp tastes way better without any seasoning.

Airport restaurant so they know we're a captive audience and don't try that hard. Fried Food you'd expect, nothing notable, drinks (adult) are weak though have interesting and enticing names. Memorabilia and pictures throughout on the walls are interesting for the first time but overall the atmosphere to return isn't strong so I'll keep walking past and look for another place next time

Coconut shrimp was crispy and delicious. Tourist prices.

THE WORST. We were hungry and stuck in the airport for a few hours, so we went here and got two entrees and two drinks. They charged our credit card $150! They use some kind of ridiculous conversion rate to justify it so they can overcharge Americans on their way out of the country. The food sucked too. My drink was so syrupy sweet, I couldn't even finish it. I left Mexico with a bad taste in my mouth, literally and figuratively. Don't give these rip-off artists your money!

The service and atmosphere were wonderful. The food was fresh, and the portions were very large, probably a bit too big. My only complaint would be the prices, it's VERY expensive. But, hey, you're at the airport flying back home from Mexico 🇲🇽, YOLO.

I was asked to leave because my wife had a to go bag of Johnny rockets for the plane ride. Not eating it just sitting with the rest of our luggage. I don't understand the logic. I said I could just put the bag away and was told no. I had to cancel my order of fish and chips and leave. Makes no sense. Just drove me back to wait in line at Johnny rockets for a burger and fries instead. Absolutely trash restaurant management.

Considering it's a massive chain in an airport it was great. They had room for our family, we're friendly, timely and got our order right. Would I go if I wasn't trapped in an airport.... Probably not as I just don't need bubba Gump apparel.

Awful AWFUL margs - asked for water to cut them down. Was told they only sell bottled water but fter pushing these were asful he miraculously showed up with tap water that we wouldnt dare (since they cant serve it). What a joke. Awful.

Convenient location next to the gates once you've passed security. The menu designates "fast flight" items for if you've got to catch, and a little Forrest Gump themed sign at your table that you can flip over to visually alert the wait staff when you need them to stop by your table. The Pina Colada (lava with strawberry) was very delicious, and portion sizes were good.

The dumb shrimp came just in time. I only had 40 minutes to eat, so I have to say the food was done quickly, shrimps were crunchy, the perfect color, and the taste was much better than I had expected, especially for airport food... regardless of the chain. Fries and jelly were nice too. The manager, super cute, staff was attentive. I have the perfect picture of this dish in my head I wish I took a snap. Anyway good eats.

A bit crowded and the burgers you could tell were frozen premade patties but everything tasted good. And was a good place to grab food before our flight. The fried fish was maybe the least good out of everything we ordered.

This location was in the airport and service was kinda slow. When my husband and I entered we watched a unhappy customer leave the restaurant because they had been ignored 🙁. We had some extra time and for soup of the day and two Yin Yang salads 🥗 costing $50 it wasn't worth the money. My husband and I vowed not to entertain going to Bubba Gump again we've eaten at the same name different cities three times and this was most likely the last time. Sorry I want to be honest and share my experience.

So it's Bubba Gump. So the food isn't amazing. It's also not terrible and it's basically the only game in town at PVR Airport. The servers are very fast and the drinks are cold. Also the cajun spice on the fries is damn good. safe travels!

Not my first time here... better experience this time around than last. Customer service more attentive.one of our plates were cold, brought it up to a worker and they took care of it right away... even thought we had multiple waiting on us during the 1.5 hr there, never felt like they missed a beat. Will gladly go back!

This location was at the Puerto Vallarta airport. The food and drinks didn't disappoint. Four stars because the service was somewhat inattentive, especially considering this is an airport location with people needing to keep an eye on their time. We had to wait for our checks.

This is such a nice place to get away from the stress of the airport. The food is great and full of flavour and the service is fantastic.

Shrimper's heaven and Captain fish and chips were good. Fried calamari was delicious as well. I really like the hush puppies.

The shrimp was REALLY good, especially the grilled! I also had the Tito’s Strawberry Lemonade, which was really good, if you’re not big on alcohol. If you are, I’d recommend adding another shot. I guess you have to flip the sign when you’re ready for service lol my table didn’t grasp the concept at first lol

We ate at the one in the Atlanta Ga airport. Food came out very fast and hot. It was so good but it was really expensive. Not sure if it was just because it was at the airport or the typical price on menu. Really good though and our waitress was so friendly. She took the time to ask us trivia questions about the movie and gave us a coupon for playing along. Made for a fun experience!

Perfect place to hang out before a flight. Food was hot and tasty, I had a slushy in an led cup.

For an airport joint it ticked all the boxes. Fast service, decent fried food, and big beers. Don't expect anything fancy, but for a quick bite before a flight it's fine.
