Every Thurs-Sun 5:30-8pm they have local food vendors around the square with music and dancing. Food was good and reasonably priced. We had the chicken Enchiladas for 80p- prepared hot and delicious. Had some corn in cup, so-so but seemed to be a local favorite. Will go back and try to Pozole (a Mexican soup). Lots of local food like street food. So endearing to see older local folks dancing. You can then cross the street and continue walking on the Malecon. A great way to spend a weekend evening.

A pleasant place to go for a walk! Great people watching as well! And if you don’t know what kind of tour you wish to do, just come out here and you will find plenty! This is where it all starts! It has amazing coffee shop -Puerto Café and plenty of places to eat! Try taco Moreno, Fruit Bars made with real fruit juice, buy well made (hand made) hats for under $10 usd and have a meal at a beautiful restaurant! People are friendly and you will find enough Americans (and English speaking natives) on the streets who can guide you!

This plaza is the local social center. A place to meet & greet. Music and dance every Thursday & Sunday @ 6:00pm for 1-2hrs.

A shaded park to get out of the sun and sit for a bit. Crack pot on the gazebo complaining about the government. I thought I was going to see a truck convoy.

That was one of my favorite places to go to when I was staying in Puerto Vallarta! Starting Thursday evening though Sunday night, every evening there were a lot of food vendors, activity, music, and much more. The food was the highlight of that area with each street vendor preparing their own type of dish, each was delicious in their own way! The prices were also very good. Highly recommend!

All the food vendors on this plaza are honest except one. The lady sells nuts and candies at NE corner. Trying to over charge us by 5x of local price. So beware.

This square is a great gathering place for the locals and tourists alike. During the week of the Day of the Dead it is decorated up so brightly and is a very interesting place to learn about the local culture of Puerto Vallarta.

Not my first choice in finding a place to calm my hunger. I came across a very busy place full of many small street vendors selling all types of foods and local beverages. After walking around found a stand that sold Huaraches, not something you easily find. It is an oblong thick corn tortilla topped with your choice of beef, pork or veggie meat combination. After finding a place to sit I enjoyed my very late dinner, it was very flavorful and filling. It was quite an adventure!

This is a lovely little plaza in the heart of old Puerto Vallarta. It's an excellent place to stop and sit in the shade. The trees, statues, and church are all beautiful. It's also right on the boardwalk, so the location is very convenient. The pigeons can be a bit aggressive, so watch out.

It has a very good vibe. Close to the church. Good place for a walk.

The plaza is closed due to COVID. But you can still walk by and listen to the bird symphony at dusk... it is one of my favorite joys of PVR. Just be careful, with birds, comes the droppings LOL.
