When our Son was down from Phoenix, walking along the Malecon we stopped to watch. What they do is an act of faith. Being able to witness it here wonderful. As they finish one of the members moves through the group collecting donations, please be generous even 50 or more Pesos. The Malecon has a lot of very accessible for Wheelchairs to enjoy the Sights.

Impressive! Don’t forget to throw a little something in the hat that’s passed.

The Fliers of Papantla put on one of the most unique shows in Mexico by floating from incredible heights secured with nothing but a simple rope tied across their waist. The "dance" of the fliers used to be part of a sacred ritual but it has now been watered down to tourist entertainment. They do it about twice per hour and they do not get paid for their efforts so its recommended that you tip them if you stay and watch the performance

The ocean breeze cools you as you take-in the surrounding sights, sounds and people.

A few times a day there will be this show by locals where they climb up this pole, perform music, and four people will hang upside down with nothing but rope holding them and slowly lower to the ground while spinning. There will be someone going around asking for tips for the performers and you can provide tips if you enjoyed the performance.

I was impressed with this ancient and incredible perform, if you're a foreigner as I am , you must enjoy this pre-Hispanic ritual.

It’s a neat performance to watch but I wouldn’t wait around for it.

(Translated by Google) They risk a lot for so little and it would be nice for everyone who watches the show to cooperate. (Original) Se arriesgan mucho por tan poco y estaría bien que cooperen todos los que ven el espectáculo.

I had no idea what I was about to see and the whole brief but colourful performance was a joy to watch. Well worth pausing if you’re passing and tipping a few dollars if you enjoy it enough to reach for your camera!
