One of the worst all inclusive hotels I have stayed in my life. Never to return. The room I was given had roaches all over. Plus the floor smelled moldy. They lied about the number of restaurants. It has only 1 sit down. The other one is a converted poolside restaurant which is open air and that they requested to have a reservation. It was hot and humid and all dressed up and you are sweating bullets. From the front desk to concierge they all were rude and unprofessional and no help whatsoever. Look at some of the pics from the outside in the back of the hotel it looked to like I was staying in a run down Motel with clothes hanging from the windows. I advise people to stay away from this resort. It's like a local Motel and 90% of the people were local. Also no premium liquor or beer everything costs you money. The Marriott has gone cheap. You're better off staying in another hotel. Never ever i will return or stay at any Marriott properties.

Let me start by saying this is a beautiful hotel, clean and well maintained. However, I booked this month's in advance, called ahead to make sure everything was good. I reserved a King, Ocean View Terrace room. We arrived, barley greeted, ushered to the front desk, the lady said its 2 beds! Uh, no it's a king, it's my 5 year anniversary, 2 beds aren't an option. She hastily looked at her computer, asked me for my credit card, I had to ask her, "did you change my room"? Yes, she said. We were then taken by another lady who took us to a desk and pulled out a map of the hotel, explained restaurant reservation and what was not included in our all-inclusive stay, she stated she would give us coupons for the Deli, store and spa, but ONLY if we went to the time share presentation. WT? I said, so you can take my $1600 and then basically hold me hostage to anything unless I go to this presentation, to which she said..yes! We went to the room, which has little to no ocen view, how they can charge for this "ocean view " is really taking advantage of people, I wish I could add the picture. I went back down and asked to be moved , he said and agreed that it was not a good view, he went and spoke with the 1st lady and came back and offered the room with 2 beds.. I have been to PV many time and usually stay at a different resort, I decided to change it up this time and I'm definitely disappointed 😞.

This Resort is in a beautiful location. All rooms face the Bay of Banderas. The view from our room was breathtaking! Sunset over the Pacific Ocean every single day. The pool areas are very big and nicely kept. The only complaint about the pool area, is the lack of wait staff. There are a few running around trying to keep everyone happy, but they could use several more. The check in process was smooth, but as soon as you check in the concierge aggressively tried to force us to go to a 90min timeshare sales pitch. Of course they will give you hundreds of $ in discounts if you go, but we have been to more than enough and already own one. After several minutes of saying "no thanks" we finally had to walk away from her. By doing that, she did not tell us how to get to our room. It was a frustrating start to be sure. We ended up asking the luggage boy who carried our baggage to the room, to lead the way. There is NO requirement to sit for a timeshare presentation, but you may have to be forceful with the NO. After the check in hassle, the reminder of our trip was amazing!

Not the best place for your money. Service not friendly most of the personal had an attitude specially at the restaurant buffet they made us feel not welcomed. On the weekends the pool where full with kids and the line of the restaurant where so long and its because they sale one day passes to the locals so if you are planning to stay for the weekend good luck. The restaurant had such a poor quality of food. And the day of our arrival at the front desk we were told that in our reservation all inclusive was not included. If wanted we need to pay an additional $500.00 dollars, so when my husband was waiting on the side a lady approached him, and told him we could pay less if we attended to a presentation but she knew my full name and that I had booked my reservation with EXPEDIA when my husband never disclose any information to her, when my husband ask her how did she knew my name she just changed the conversation. Then our room bathroom got full with water so slipped and next day we told them what happened they offered to change us to a different room but never asked me if I was okay and apologize so we got change to a smaller room that we pay for, we just wanted to had a good time and celebrate my birthday. Will not stay in Sheraton again. Read all reviews before you book your staying.

This has to be the worst hotel we have stayed at. I go to PV every year and I have never experienced such poor service. First off, the haggle you to go to the presentation to buy a timeshare and don’t take no for an answer. The first day, I noticed our fridge wasn’t working. I called the front desk and they said they’d send someone to fix it. Well, after 6 days and repeated calls, they finally switched it out. They always forgot to put clean towels in room also. Oh and by the way, ALL INCLUSIVE, is not really all inclusive. If you want a coffee from the coffee shop, it’s extra. Also a restaurant in resort is only for members. Some of the amenities are for members only. At the pool, the entertainment was “bingo”. I will never be staying here again. The only good thing about this place was that it is walking distance to downtown Malecón.

It’s a budget friendly place, rooms are decent, and the beach sand is rough. I would not recommend staying here if you have other options. I definitely would not recommend going to their restaurants. We ate at their restaurant La Villita one time for brunch. They charged my card on file over $210 for this single brunch AND also included it in the final invoice that we paid at checkout - basically double charging me for a single meal. Now they are denying the dispute I have going through the bank for the $210 charge. Not good service when the restaurant staff is causing duplicate charges and then their back office folks are not rectifying the situation. I won’t stay here again.

My last day here and I can’t wait to go home. Seriously, Sheraton, we expected so much more from you! First, we did not the welcome drinks as offered. Usually at other resorts, we have cold water waiting for us at check in. Second, hotel room did not come with any toothpaste, sandals or small bathroom amenities. We were given 1 bathrobe for a family of 3! Third, the refrigerator was small with a few drinks. Not sure if you can really call it a mini bar. Fourth, food at buffet had birds flying around and feeding off the serving spoon. Yuck! And flies flying around the desert bar. I couldn’t stomach any of the food after I saw that. Fifth (yes, I can keep going) food were either too salty or too bland. And this is for restaurants with reservation! The reservation rule is ridiculous because not all restaurants are available on certain days (for god sake, you only have 3 options!) I can go on. But I just want to go home. 😭

Remember to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any hotel. This web site will compare hundreds of hotel sites and usually will have prices a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later! This resort is one of the best in this area. I have been staying here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you for sure won't be let down. Everything here was amazing! Loved that the resort was small and easy to get around. Ate at all the restaurants and buffet which consistently exceeded expectations. All the staff were pleasant, hardworking and welcoming. Can’t wait to come back!

Rooms were spacious and clean. We enjoyed our pool time by the vacations club building, it’s less crowded and significantly less children. The main pool by the hotel is truly for families, and not peaceful if you’re traveling as a couple. The food was just average, I don’t recommend paying the all inclusive option which is quite expensive. Be aware of aggressive timeshare people luring in new vacationers, lying about having “important info” to share with you about your stay. Don’t fall for it! Most of the staff is a bit clueless when responding to questions about restaurant hours in the resort or simple directions, we were misguided several times and I speak Spanish fluently. Don’t expect true Marriot service or quality. Also, AMEX isn’t broadly accepted throughout and neither are US/CAD dollars. You have to exchange money to pesos at the front desk, and it’s limited. If you write a review on Trip Advisor, expect a combative response from the PR employee handling reviews. Not the best customer experience. Nonetheless, this is still a safe and decent place to stay. Centrally located and enjoyable without preset expectations.

Do not come here ! Room: My family and I recently stay here. Rooms smell moldy, ac unit only has one temperature super cold or off. you can feel burst of air coming through open space the door has. I had to use our towels to cover it. One lamp did not work. Membership: we used our points to reserve this place but when we got to resort they told us we owed 1,000. Plus the points we have used. We ended up paying around $2,000 where my family only paid $1,100. We called to complain they were really rude and said there nothing they can do. So I guess you get better deals not bien a member. Pool:water is cold, waiter takes a while to come around. Drinks taste more like icee’s. Beach: sand is not soft it’s rocket and rough to the touch. It’s full of vendors. Vendor we’re pushing each other fighting for spots in front of my kids. Food is okay nothing special. Valet guy is never to be found. I had to go ask for him and staff would tell me they didn’t know How to contact him because valet is a third party. When he did show up I had to help him find my keys from the key locker it was ridiculous. Restaurant / bar over priced.

Beautiful, fantastic resort… I deducted one star because the executive lounge on the 23rd floor does not feel safe for those with COVID concerns. Lounge can be quite crowded, the airflow is insufficient, spacing between tables is insufficient as well. I feel this could be easily corrected, just by Opening it to the outside air or by increasing the air conditioning flow. Otherwise, really nice resort. Had a nice time there!

My wife and I had four days of vacation highly recommend the Sheraton. Everybody here was super friendly and easy to communicate with I have limited Spanish but I was able to get by. We got to meet one of the managers Vanessa Gonzalez who was such a pleasure dealing with she was such an asset to the Marriott Corporation. Definitely coming back soon as possible. Spent a lot of time on the beach under a thatched hut drink service was fantastic. Numerous polls and restaurants parasailing at your fingertips massages at your fingertips. Very clean good housekeeping. Starbucks on premises. Ate pretty much everything fruit vegetables not one problem. Highly recommended.

This is a BEAUTIFUL resort!! We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was so much fun! We hope to return one day. There are many activities on site- they have wonderful restaurant options and the pools are great. I also recommend the spa for a relaxing massage. If you are there on a Sunday they have Mexican Brunch buffet and there are ENDLESS options and you can eat as much as you want. We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff is excellent and we can’t wait to return!

Only stayed one night but overall was very average. Bonvoy member so I used points and they tried to make is seem as if I was getting preffered treatment for being a member but there were no benefits that were worth wasting all my point to stay here. Clogged shower drain, maybe 1 English channel (after 8hrs in the sun and a big meal it would be nice to relax in the hotel room but the TV was essentially useless),no kind of breakfast provided. Nice staff and everything was clean but overall felt like it was a waste.

Great ambiance, rooms are clean the whole hotel itself was very clean actually. Service here very friendly so make sure you tip your server and housekeeper every morning. Breakfast buffet one of the best buffet I ever had this is not your typical westernized buffet they have a locals touch.

This hotel was fine. Pool was a little slimey and had a strange smell, a bit like vinegar. The room had some broken furniture and the AC struggled to keep the room at 25°C, running 24/7. The shower rapidly cycled between hot and cold water, low and high water flow. You had to constantly fiddle with the knob. I had to keep my showers really brief. Had a couple of drinks and they were good. Didn't try the food at the hotel.

Lovely hotel but very coarse beach, hard to walk on without shoes. Water isn’t swimmer friendly unfortunately. Pools are lovely. One has very loud music and activities. The other is more subdued. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU HAVE CELIAC OR A GLUTEN ALLERGY. They can’t accommodate very well and your options are extremely small with limited knowledge of gluten and celiac.

Great location between the resort area and the malecon. The resort is beautiful and is connected to the Sheraton Convention Center hotel so you can access both areas. The only thing is that the music at the pool on the Convention Center side was too loud and disturbed you if you're trying to relax (even with noise canceling headphones). The rooms were decently sized, but they had the hardest bed and sofa I have ever laid on... just a thin mattress on a cement or wooden slab... hard as hell. The view was great, though. Staff was friendly all around. Food at the restaurants was ok, but pricey.

Miserable experience! We were stuck on a Murphy bed with no headboard and our pillows kept falling off. The front staff refused any assistance UNLESS you did a timeshare presentation...otherwise there were "no rooms". FREE Internet was also used as a bargaining chip for a timeshare presentation, unchanged for some items/restaurants on the property. And a HUGE lack of communication for events, times, and all around direction. The wait staff were fantastic and friendly and were great with restaurants. Hotel staff was terrible, and referred everything to the main hotel. Save your money!

With some exceptions, the staff was friendly. The quality of the food was also fine, and they have a lot of beautiful gardens. Unfortunately, we didn't have a pleasant stay here. The hotel hosted two parties, and the music was deafening. It was not until 2 am that we were able to sleep. I had good memories of this hotel when I stayed here with my family in the 90s. But now it feels like this place prioritizes parties and social events rather than offering a cozy place to relax. Sadly, I don't recommend this hotel, and I'll find somewhere else to stay on my next visit to PT.

Half of the hotel is a timeshare so there were a few things you had to pay for and some drinks not included which was a bit off putting at first. Especially when you walk in and see a cafe that serves Starbucks and ice cream just to find out it’s not included. There was always room at the pool and the servers were lovely. The bartenders were not always as nice tho. A few of them seemed bothered when you asked for a drink. The food was pretty decent. Servers in there were great as well. The pool food was some of the best I had, specifically the quesadillas. It was easy to get around by taxi but security was a bit lacking.

Everything was great.  We were very happy with our room. We ate good food and relaxed by the pool.  Plus, the hotel was so conveniently located that we were a short cab ride away from the Romanic Zone and lots of great restaurants everywhere. The staff was extremely accommodating and helpful; everyone from the room cleaners, front desk, bellmen, waiters - couldn't have been nicer. Thank you, and looking forward to returning!

This was one of the best resorts we’ve ever been to - I've never gone to the same one twice but this may be the one that brings me back. It checks the boxes for amenities, cleanliness, food options but it hits it out of the park with service. Every desk agent, restaurant, room service, bar and poolside staff member was amazing. I believe Gabriel’s amazing poolside service has ruined all future poolside experiences for me unless I’m lucky enough to be back here…

What a great hotel! It started out with a free upgrade to a club level room with a beautiful room! This hotel is right in the center of town and close to the boardwalk and the Romantic Zone. This hotel has plenty to do from morning yoga to swimming around the pool to my favorite pool volleyball! I met so many great people and workers here at the hotel. Can’t feel more positive about this hotel ! Can’t wait to come back!

The Mexican Fiesta was good, not great. The best part was the hot chocolate and desserts. The entertainment was way too loud. We had to leave because our ears were hurting. 99% of the employees were very helpful and friendly. The male concierge in the morning was not helpful and the market clerk needs to either smile or quit her job. Going for the Italian restaurant tonite. Enjoyed the Asian restaurant. Unfriendly check in.was pushed aside for people the guy knew. Connie was super! Timeshare tour was very friendly and good.

Adore the Sunday champagne brunch here with some tables on the edge of the beach. It’s very relaxing and peaceful and I spend several hours here on Sundays when in town. Many people will enjoy the novelty of the Mariachi, but I prefer the quiet so I go early for that. Great buffet with a huge selection of foods. Good waiters and decent service. Excellent price. Highly recommended.

This hotel is very well located. About a mile or less from the Malecon. The facilities are clean and well maintained. My only complaint is that the sales staff is very pushy about getting you to buy their all-inclusive package if you didn’t do so with your reservation. They were also very pushy about you booking excursions through them as well. I do my research prior to arriving and usually book on my own. But I was getting harassed about that as well. I’m not an all-inclusive traveler - so that’s a full disclosure. I like to explore the city and eat outside of hotel installations. The views are great. The beach is gorgeous but at the same time really sucks. It’s full of rocks. There’s absolutely no way you can sit at the beach. There’s also a lot of street noise since the hotel is in a very high traffic street. The staff is very friendly and attentive.

I walked into the Sheraton Puerto Vallarta to take a look for a future stay. Myself (38) and my friend (69) were immediately taken aback by the beautiful grounds. We walked down to the pool where we were met a couple with 2 tiny pit bull puppies (no leash). The couple and us had a brief conversation. The couple immediately started arguing and "commanded" us to watch their dogs. The dogs had no leash and were drinking the pool water. We didn't know what to do but felt we should not leave 2 pit bull puppies off leash unattended at a resort. I looked at my watch and decided to give them 5 more minutes to "argue". I went up to the hotel restaurant (about 20 steps away) holding one of the puppies to ask for water (since they were drinking out of the pool).Upon walking back down I was confronted by the male who started calling me all sorts of obscenities and took a literal swing at me (all after "commanding" me to watch his dog!?). I calmly explained I was sorry and reminded him he had left the dogs with us. This whole altercation happened within the span of 15 min. These people would not be the kind of persons I would expect to be staying at the Sheraton. I will not go into further details as I respect all individuals from all walks of life and don't want to make any assumptions. However, I will say, myself and my 69 year old companion left the situation feeling very unsafe. The hotel staff approached us and the manager did ask if we could provide our recollection of events (it sounded like there had been several issues with this couple). I appreciate the staff's attentiveness, however I felt very unsafe and would never stay at the Sheraton (although a beautiful hotel) based on this interaction with their clientele.

Sunday Brunch. Just go. We don't stay here so I can't speak to the accommodations, but the Sunday brunch is so worth it. For about $50/2 people or 600 pesos each you get a massive all you can eat brunch. Crepes, sushi, eggs your way, and traditional Mexican dishes are available. Don't forget to get the bottomless Mimosa's if you're into that.

My husband and I just stayed here for a week and loved it! We did the all inclusive plan, and also upgraded to the Sheraton Club room. The room was very clean + spacious and the view was incredible. Every single staff member we interacted with was so friendly, we received outstanding service. We ate at the buffet, club lounge, + a few of the restaurants, and everything we ate was great. The drinks were good, Mango Margs were super yummy. The resort is fairly quiet at night so if you're looking for a party resort, this isn't it but we enjoyed being in bed by 10:30pm every night. The location is close by to downtown without being right there, we walked to the Malecon and it's a fairly quick walk. I had never been to Mexico nor stayed at an all inclusive but I really enjoyed it! We really enjoyed our stay and would 1000% stay here again!

When I booked I did 3 adults, my friend decided to surprise me (it was my birthday weekend) I asked front staff if I can add another adult how much more? Or if we can maybe upgrade our room? He declined only 3 adults in a room (even though you have 2 queens beds) he said we had to get another room for $300 a night! I asked to speak with manager “they made an exception and with an extra charge” she was able to stay. As we are waking to our room, we get a lady asking us about a tour of the hotel (which is the people in charge of the timeshared) we declined since we know about them and how pushy they can be. The pool floor is very slippery and the bar in the pool has a lot of flys, the bartenders very pushy on us keeping a tap open. The room is okay BUT the bedding is scary is old, and looks like one of the blankets has mold. My cousin met with us for dinner and he was asked to leave our room! This place is a joke. The only good thing is the ocean view and walking dust from malecón.

The service was awesome the day we walked in. Food and the room service is great. Rooms are very clean. The one with the view, you have to do. Well worth it. Safety protocol was top notch. If someone forgot their mask, they were there to tell them that you have to wear them except drinking or eating. We will be staying there again. We know that the service, Managers, Food and cleanliness of the rooms are 5 star all the way. Thank you Sheraton from a very happy customer. Cranbrook, BC. Nov. 2021.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Sheraton Hotel in Puerto Vallarta with my family and friends for one week, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and outstanding hospitality that set the tone for our entire stay. Our rooms were spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean, providing a perfect retreat after our daily adventures. The attention to detail in maintaining the rooms was truly commendable. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional service we received from the hotel staff. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Whether it was the front desk staff who were always ready to assist with any inquiries, the housekeeping team who kept our rooms pristine, or the restaurant staff who provided us with delicious meals, the level of professionalism and courtesy was remarkable. The dining options at the Sheraton were outstanding. Our meals at the hotel's restaurants were some of the best, so we avoided trying an outside hotel restaurant during our trip. Mario Balzer, La Villita's manager, welcomed us daily and ensured that we and other guests got the best service from the kitchen and staff. Ernesto and Juan Carlos very kindly and professionally managed the Gaviotas and La Pergola staff. The delightful pools offered a perfect blend of relaxation and fun activities. It depends on which pool you want to spend your hours in. The hotel's amenities and activities entertained kids and adults throughout our stay. My wife's Birthday was the most memorable part of our stay in the Sheraton; we won't forget it for our entire lives. Kudos to Denisse Alejandra, event planner; we had a phenomenal birthday party, starting with a gorgeous sunset of Bahia de Banderas. Denisse and her team set up a large gazebo with string lights over the chairs and tables of our group of 20 people with a bar and separate amplifier system. We played Persian music, danced, and cheered with all our friends. The Sheraton staff served us delicious appetizers and drinks; they served the dinner with an excellent presentation of the shelf and kitchen. Interestingly, the weather changed to drizzle, and rain, and then Denisse and her team immediately accommodated us into one of the indoor places to continue my wife's Birthday. They kindly stayed with us to the end. Everything was fantastic and well organized. In addition, Denisse and Sheraton Hotel supersized my wife a few times during her Birthday. Her Birthday started with the welcoming of La Villita's staff. They came around our table and sang happy birthday songs at breakfast. Then, the entertainment team came around us at the swimming pool and sang Happy Birthday to her. After, they started planning Persian music and danced with us. The surprises continued with sending a large, beautiful bouget flower with a birthday card to my wife. Overall, we had an unforgettable stay at the Sheraton Hotel in Puerto Vallarta, which elevated our expectations in the future to not go to any other places except Sheraton. The Sheraton Buganvilias Resort combines a beautiful location and comfortable accommodations; most importantly, the exceptional service provided by the dedicated staff made our vacation truly special. I highly recommend the Sheraton Hotel to anyone looking for an unforgettable getaway. Thank you, Denisse and the Sheraton team, for creating unforgettable memories for my wife, family, and friends; we look forward to returning soon.

Stayed here with my family during spring break. It is a 15 in walk from the Malecon which was great, the rooms were comfortable, there are 2 great large swimming pools, as well as the beach, and they have a Sunday buffet with live music that is amazing! The food selection is enormous, the mariachis were a delight! Will definitely come back. Note: be careful from timeshare sales folks, it seems to be standard practice for them to sit you down for presentation in Mexico.

The rooms and hotel are beautiful but the staff leaves a lot to be desired. They were rude and short tempered. The only staff that we encountered that were friendly were the staff manning the buffet as well as the gentleman with the taco stand. The bathrooms in the public areas were dirty all four days of our stay, and our room was not stocked up with toiletries our 2nd to last day. We ended up having to use up all the kleenex in the room until the front desk finally sent someone up with 1 roll. The food at the buffet was delicious for all three meals. The location is beyond beautiful, the room was very comfortable and we quite enjoyed the views from the terrace.

Very clean and upgraded rooms and hotel. The food is below average and service, specifically from the men at the pizzeria inside the resort was extremely rude and condescending. There is loud music playing past 10pm and going on to late hours. The windows in the room are not sound proof, which makes the music and bass vibrate. Very difficult to rest at night. Watch out for timeshare pushy sales people after your check-in. They will try to trick you into following them saying they can guide you to your room. All lies and tricks. It’s pathetic. The place is clean, but you’ll find roaches all over the hallways. Some dead and some half alive. Perhaps they’re fumigating constantly, but it’s still gross to see Don’t expect Marriot quality and peace. It’s a bit loud at night and the staff is just average.

Nice property, the tower we were in is the oldest but still in decent shape, housekeeping is great, good service. Nice restaurants on site. Wish they would switch to the new style of wrist band you wear to be on property.

Natalia, Irayda, Ernesto, and Mariana were wonderful, cheerful, energetic hosts. They are part of the activities group at the resort along with the waiters Gabriel and Gamaliel that were kind and fun when serving my family at the poolside chairs. This group of people made our stay very fun with dance lessons, kids games, and musical entertainment. The only problem I had was the attitude from the front desk concierge unfortunately I didn't get his name, it's the guy with glasses and brown hair and it's a good thing I speak Spanish; I simply changed to a young lady that was more attentive to service and actually smiled when welcoming you. I also couldn't forget housekeeping and valet service that were very respectful and helpful.

5/5 overall Bonvoy experience and here is why… We were greeted with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries in our room. The room features sunset facing outdoor hot tub, hammock, a huge walking closet among many standard amenities. The club’s staffs, food and drinks are great - even though we only didn’t spend that much time at the exclusive club. The internet is intermittently slow. We tried the 2 out of 3 restaurants in the resort. They are typical resort quality. Not the best, but not too expensive.. no complaints here. All in all, we got to relax, spent tons of time in the pool and hot tub watching the sunset.

Make sure to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking a place. This site will compare countless booking websites and usually will have rates much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This place is one of my favorites in the area. I have been staying here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you won't regret it. We loved the service from our arrival with the greeting by Connie, breakfast with Oliver who made us feel better than at home and made us laugh, and Edwin at the pool who treated us as special guests all day. We're so delighted to be here and enjoying this beautiful hotel and their wonderful staff.

My partner and I went on business and of course leisure to Puerto Vallarta for a quick trip of four nights five days. We decided to choose the Sheraton hotel which was is located in the hotel zone not too far from the airport or the very popular historical Zona Romantica. (About a 5-10 minute drive). Overall this hotel is safe, clean, and accommodating. If you are a Bonvoy elite member the check in process is contactless via the app and is very smooth. However since this is an international destination assuming you are from the US, I would recommend checking in with the front desk. The staff is very friendly and courteous and almost everyone speaks English. The front desk will also exchange your US dollars for a very good rate. They are very good at honoring your Marriott elite status upgrades and benefits. We booked an ocean view room and were upgraded free of charge to a club level Oceanview room. The benefits of the club level are the rooms have a little bit more amenities in them, housekeeping is on demand, and most importantly you have access to the club level lounge. The lounge offers complementary hot breakfast with a wide variety of selections every morning. They offer snacks throughout the day and from 6 to 8 wine and finger foods. If you are going on a budget this is a great amenity especially if you have kids as you could, in theory, have two meals here. There are plenty of restaurants on site which are all very good and well priced. They do have an all inclusive package I would recommend that only if you're traveling with a large family. There are plenty of local restaurants that are much cheaper than eating on site at the hotel. This hotel provides a huge swimming pool and a swim up bar that is very fun. They also have direct beach access and chairs to sit on the beach if desired. The drinks are very good and the service is outstanding. We were very impressed with the level of cleanliness at this hotel. The water pressure is amazing, as is the temperature. My partner and I brushed our teeth with the water and even had a couple of glasses when we ran out of bottled water and it was perfectly safe. We definitely recommend this hotel as this is in our opinion is considered a budget luxury choice.

My family and I love the Sheraton and return every year!! We are always well taken care of by the amazing staff, it has become our second home in PV! Our rooms are sparkling cleaned everyday by the cleaners! The drinks are always flowing by the pool and cabanas by the awesome servers and bartenders! The breakfast and dinner buffets are made with love by the kitchen staff! We are always entertained by the pool side due to the fun entertainment staff! Make sure you tip these amazing people, they care a lot and work very hard!! I want to give a special shout out to Joel, Manuel, Isabel, and Marco! Such good people! Thank you Sheraton staff, Te amo!

Our family was a bit hesitant to stay here after reading some reviews, but we had an amazing experience and will definitely be back! The hotel staff is incredible and so hospitable and welcoming. The area is safe and close to the downtown area, and there’s a lot to do around the hotel if you don’t want to stay by the pool the entire time. You can also take lanchitas (small boats) to other parts of the island!

If you're a bonvoy platinum elite or titanium elite, this place is a steal. We got the cheapest room, and with titanium elite, we were upgraded to the ocean view on the club level rooms. All the service is top notch. Pool bars are great, all staff waits on you for anything you need. Great restaurants on the campus, countless places to get a drink.

My partner and I stayed here 4 nights the last weekend of May and had a pretty nice time. The resort is well laid out, not too big you get lost and not too small that you feel closed in. There was 3 different conferences during our stay but they didn't make the place feel crowded and the service was great throughout. We did tip each person who provided us service (not sure if you're supposed to since we did all inclusive) but it wasn't anything to break the bank. The only reason for 4 stars was either the food or the drinks gave both me and my partner upset stomachs during our stay. We were in Mexico City before and after this trip to Puerto Vallarta so I know we can tolerate non-American food standards (though honestly the food is way fresher in most of Mexico!). Perhaps it was the cheap liquor in the all inclusive package but either way, if I had to do it again, I would not do all inclusive. The resort is very close (10-15 mins walking) to decent restaurants and you can always just pay (though it can be expensive) to eat/drink in the resort.

Service is great and hotel very nice and modern great water pressure and very clean Located 10 min from airport $7 taxi ride and walking distance to Malecon shops security is great room service food was great and came fast I would come again very family relax friendly Only con was room with terrace get blocked out because of roof underneath so you don’t get a full ocean view it’s partial so the extra cost was not worth it. And non guest cannot enter the hotel. If your young and want a party hotel this is not it

Nice hotel very well kept inside and out. I would get the all inclusive as we did. Nice staff people. You want to sit at the pool get your towels early and get out there by 6am or the lounges are taken. Just sayin Buffet is good, pizza place not so much. Didn’t try ninety nine or Asian place we should have Tacos at 1-4 at lobby bar and Thursday’s is taco fiesta night there’s also musical entertainment Id go there again easily

Amazing views from my room!! Great swimming pools. A SUPERB gym!!! Plenty of restaurants to chose from within the property. Great beaches. Very good and convenient coffee shop with great pastries. ------------------------------------------- Not to crazy about a couple of things: -Super loud music until late at night. You are trying to relax after a long day and you can hear the live band music as if they were next to your room. ***Biggest turn off: receiving a phone call as soon as you get to your room to tell you that "you need to come down for some information that you missed". What it is in actual fact... their way to try to trap you into buying into their time share... They are very nice while trying to convince you to buy, then the moment you refuse they are not so polite after all. Uncool.

I gave them only 4 stars for rooms because they have a lot of damage but it might possibly be fresh damage as I visited only 2 days after a large earthquake. The rooms are very clean though and the maid service does an excellent job.very beautiful property and friendly staff. Just becareful you don't get sucked into one of their timeshare presentations. The pool was very fun. We hung out at the bar in the pool multiple times and enjoyed the very reasonably priced drinks.

Definitely opt for the ocean view when choosing a room, the horizon is absolutely beautiful. The fiesta buffet was very delicious with a delightful variety of cuisine. The pool scene was a bit hectic to say the least and the pool itself was a bit slimy so enter at your own risk. The resort is located within a walkable distance to the Malecon so finding great restaurants outside the hotel is a snap.
