Super-fun laid pack German-style style restaurant/biergarden, sometimes with good live music. The food looked good, but we only had drinks. Good prices and very nice people. The only drawback we had was ordering spicy mezcal mango margarita, it was apparent it has zero or almost zero mezcal in it. We asked but the server insisted it was not so. OK, we relented. Fun place. But we did go to a place (Sangre Azul) about a block away next after this, ordered same drink, which was great and clearly had plenty of mezcal.

German food was a pleasant change from tacos etc. Only one waiter but he did what he could. After all,we are on vacation ...Weather was perfect for sitting outside in the beer garden. We both had the wienerschnitzel, both said it was tender and tasty. We didnt try the german beer, a little too pricey. We would return if the time is right and we are downtown.

Stayed ten days in July. Was exactly what I was looking for. Excellent location right on Basilio Badillo. Spotlessly clean room. Complimentary maid service and breakfast daily. Breakfast was outstanding. Great pool and lounge area. AC in room was fantastic. Take advantage of the three course lunch and early dinner up until 5 pm Monday thru Friday. I think its $175 pesos (about $8) and is a fantastic bargain

Outstanding atmosphere! Charming in a word! Food was excellent. The braised pork was simply succulent and mouth watering. We did the buffet. Great price and even better selection! If the German food in Germany tasted like THIS, I would enjoy it way more!

Two of us early afternoon. Friend had ribs, ate half took the rest home said they were great next day too. I had weinerschnitzel, and spaetzle, loved it. Service was excellent, waiter and busperson both very attentive. We'll head back soon.

(from USA, stayed in April 2021) This place is so cute! You go through the restaurant to this little oasis. There is a pool and big trees that provide a jungle type feel. The room was large and had everything we needed. The bed felt a little hard but both my mom and I agreed we didn't even notice it during the night and slept well. The sheets were really soft I remember. The lady who runs it (I wish I remember her name) was so nice and helpful. She made us the most delicious breakfast in the courtyard near the pool. It felt like very personalized service and everything was very fresh. There's also her little dog who hangs around sometimes but doesn't bother you. She sat and just let us her pet her belly and was so sweet. Hacienda Alemana also is in perfect walking distance to many things including a drugstore across the street. The price is also very reasonable too!

We love the atmosphere at the German place. Food is good and service impeccable. One suggestion, please indicate that you only accept cash on your website. We wanted to treat our family but no credit cards accepted and we did not have enough cash with us.

This was a little gem we just happened to stumble upon. The food was incredible. A pork stroganoff special and pasta with mushroom sauce were so tasty. The texture of the pasta was amazing too. Great service also. We will definitely be coming back.

This small boutique hotel was just perfect. From the lovely and friendly service of the owners and staff, to the beautiful and spacious room we enjoyed, to the delightful and yummy breakfasts we had…it is truly a special little hotel. From the moment you walk through the wooden gate/door, you are just welcomed as family and treated to great attention and service. We will go again. Gracias!

Wonderful place. Delicious food, but the best is the attention from the owners

This place is an absolute gem hidden in the historic district (romantic zone) of PV! I had limited expectations of this place due to the low rates. However upon arrival, I was absolutely blown away by the beauty of the property, personalized service, and overall atmosphere! This place is more like an upscale bed and breakfast than hotel. Also Tatiana, one of the staff members is an incredible tour guide and concierge!!! Tatiana took us on a boat trip with snorkeling that ended with relaxing at a secluded beach. I could not have asked for more from this stay. Also incredible food at the adjoined restaurant! If you stay here be sure to check out the roof, it is GORGEOUS!!! ALSO the staff have two beautiful and very well behaved dogs: Oso and Bella. They only add to the magical atmosphere. If you are looking for a stay that supports local kindred spirits and also affords luxury, this is it!
