Had an amazing stay at Hotel San Tropico. It's a boutique hotel so it's small and cosy, the pool area is clean, the staff is super attentive and the food at the bar - amazing. I highly recommend this place!

Saint Tropic is a stunning and laid-back hotel close to the airport. The highlights of our stay were the; spacious rooms (basically modern appartments), comfortable beds, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, tropical garden, big pool, restaurant/bar with amazing food and an overall relaxed vibe. 🌴 To get a good impression, check out the photo series attached to my review.

My wife and I stayed here with another couple and loved it. The rooms are very big and has all the essentials for cooking meals and storing groceries. The breakfast is simple but really good. The pool are is very relaxing. Check out the beach club this place is connected with. It's a 25 minute drive by car. But it's totally worth it.

Lovely comfortable stay. Lovely pool area, quiet and relaxed vibe. Nice bar area with really tasty food and drinks. Room is big, clean and modern with everything you need and beds are comfortable. The location is not great. Quite far from everything. 20 minute walk to the marina which has not much around it. For reference, we’re a couple in our late 20s so we ended up taking Ubers and taxis into the main puerto Vallarta town each night. About 40 minutes each way as traffic is bad but the Ubers are not expensive so we didn’t mind. A great place if you’re not interested in really exploring as it’s great if you’re just looking to relax and maybe eat at the restaurants at the marina. Beach is hard to get to as a lot of the big resort hotels only have access. So we ended up travelling towards the main town for the beaches. At the end, our bill had included a towel and a mug as apparently the mug was broken and a towel was too stained. The mug was chipped when we arrived so I explained this and they removed the charge. Just left a distaste after an easy stay. Overall I would return if I was looking to stay by the pool all day as it’s exactly fitting for that! Staff were lovely and helpful

Glad we found this place. Just a 20 min walk to the Marina. It's like a little oasis. But the best thing is the absolutely marvelous staff, who are so friendly and helpful.

Couldn't recommend this place more! Amazing pool and pool bar. HUGE room with excellent air conditioning and wifi. Couldn't comment on location as we only stayed here a night, but felt very safe and in a lovely relaxing neighbourhood. Absolutely loved our stay

We loved our stay here, we booked again for next year. Very friendly staff, lovely rooms. A warm heated swimming pool, and a great snack bar.

Very very beautiful hotel, it's a refreshing oasis in Mexico. The hotel has a great Surf vibe, many spots for Instagram addicts and the price of the food is really affordable ( we paid 60e each for 3 days of food and drinks, I posted the picture of the menu with this review) . The staff is very nice, helpful and polite and the food is good especially their Guacamole !! The swimming pool is very big and open until 10pm, the rooms are spacious and have a functioning kitchen. There is a cute dog that is their lobby boy and you can catch him sometimes in the common area. The hotel is at 5min walk from the beach and there are many Ubers in the area that are at a decent price (approx 15e to go to the city)

I love staying here. The rooms are spacious with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen is large and functional with all the pots, pans, and dishes needed to make a meal. There is a five burner gas stove and a beautiful new fridge. The counter space is huge so there is actually space to prepare a good meal. I found the beds to be super comfortable and the air conditioning works superbly. Even the balcony has adequate space to enjoy your morning coffee outside while watching the hummingbirds dart among the flowers. The grounds are kept immaculate with an enticing inner court full of flowers, bamboo, heliconias …. This courtyard is cool and shaded in the heat of the day which makes it so soothing. All balconies face out into the courtyard and pool area. There is a small restaurant near the pool which serves excellent food and great drinks. The breakfasts here are fantastic. I found all the cleaning staff and the people at the front desk to be exceptional and highly professional. You cannot find better staff anywhere. They are helpful and friendly with everyone. Overall this place is very classy. It’s a quiet safe neighborhood and is about a 15 minute walk to the marina where you can find lots of restaurants. There are only 14 rooms here so you will never feel ‘crowded ‘. The only comments I would make on the downside is I found the pool to be too hot. It felt more like a sauna than a swimming pool. I also think the bedrooms could have had a bench or a folding stand to place luggage on. The bedrooms are huge but there was nowhere but the floor to set your suitcase. But I would highly recommend San Trópico. It’s not for the budget traveller but it is a beautiful boutique hotel.

Great stay with an awesome staff. Marina is walking distance with plenty of shops. Large, clean rooms. Restaurant serves breakfast and lunch, closing at 5:30. They were really flexible with our flight being cancelled and rebooked, making accommodations for late checkout. Internet was spotty and slow (10 mbps or less). Overall this is a fantastic little boutique hotel!

I was truly wowed by this place! We spent one night here before going to Sayulita and the rooms are incredibly nice and the AC works great! The pool and bar area are just added bonuses!

Be careful ‼️ They don’t understand hospitality, Toilets are bare (no lids) in the rooms and pool area🚽🚫. They try to get your payment cash. No Amex accepted.

A great little hotel away from the crazy tourist trip of PV. It will help to have your own car if you stay here. The pool and spa were perfect. The restaurant made the best burger I’ve had in a while. The kitchen was a bit spare but decent. The staff was very helpful and kind. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Where is the 6th star?! We’d give 6 if we could! Literally can’t say enough positive things about this hotel. Dream visit. Beautiful tranquil escape. Pool is fab. Staff are incredible: Kind, friendly and helpful. We had a 2 bedroom apartment. Absolutely immaculately clean. High quality presentation and furnishings. Fully featured kitchen. The restaurant downstairs is FANTASTIC. We couldn’t believe our luck. Tried all sorts of different dishes for breakfast and lunch. Cocktails too! Sad to leave tomorrow. We’ll be back.

Beautiful place to stay in the marina area. The pool area is awesome and offers a day pass and there is a restaurant and bar available. Hammocks and awesome tropical views from the Hot Tub and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Great location! 20 minutes of walking to get to the shopping center. The hotel is beautiful! It's so green. The rooms are upgraded, the kitchen is well equipped. The food at the hotel was delicious. It was quiet and best of all we had the pool and jacuzzi all to ourselves after 5pm. Family friendly and great customer service! I will be definately booking again.
